This story is begun when AhSi & ShanCai broke off after the long passionate kiss. AhSi suddenly knelt down and asked ShanCai, "Will you marry me?"
ShanCai is really shock to hear that. She couldn' believe what she just heard. She thought to herself-" Is this true? Or is it just her inner voice creating fantasies of happiness after her reunion with Dao Ming Si."
For the second time AhSi asked her again,-"ShanCai, will you marry me? Will you let me to be your husband, so we can share all the happiness and all the sorrow together?" He peered at her eagerly waiting for her response.
Finally ShanCai realized for what she just heard was true. Dao Ming Si just asked her to marry him. She wasn’t imagining it! Her heart skipped a beat.
ShanCai- "Dao Ming Si, is true? Are you sure about this?" AhSi with his puppy eyes looked and begged to ShanCai-
"ShanCai, please answer me, will you?"
ShanCai still a little bit confused answered- "errr... I guess...?" AhSi almost lost his patience, "You guess what?!"
ShanCai sat down on the bench, while AhSi followed her and sat next to her-" I am really happy that you asked me to marry you, but I'm still quite confused right now."
AhSi- "Why are you still confused? Do you think I can't afford to take care of you and give you the happiness? Is that it?"
ShanCai- "Dao Ming Si...it doesn't like that... I..." AhSi interrupted- "ShanCai, can you call me AhSi from now on?"
ShanCai nodded her head- "AhSi, I was thinking about your family, I knew that Zhuang Jie will support us, but what about your mom & your dad? They really need you to continue their business, and beside they really love you because you are their only son, how can you disappoint them?"
AhSi getting impatience and looked upset- "ShanCai, I don't care about them. I don't want to be the heir of the Dao Ming enterprises anymore. They tell me they love me, but they've done so many terrible things to me, forced me to marry a girl that I don't love and arrange everything in my life! Why don't they ever think about my own happiness?" Then AhSi paused in distress as he though about all those unhappy times.
Then AhSi continued-" ShanCai, I think I've told you last time, before I met you I didn't know what happiness was, but now I've finally found it, my happiness is just to be with you. I knew from Lei what had happened to you when I went abroad with YeSha, and sometime I can't forgive myself. How could I have gone traveling with YeSha and left you in Taipei? At that time, I was so mad to see that you were so closed with Lei and that you only loved me." Then AhSi paused yet again in rememberance of all the pain and agony...
" I had realized that YeSha was just another person in my life, an important person, since she helped me last time when I lost my memory. But I knew that you would be the only loved one in my life, yet I couldn't disappoint YeSha, so I decided to accompany her around the world as her last wishes. I hope that you understand this. Deep inside in my heart, even when I am far from you, I always have you in my heart no matter what. I love you so much. I don't think I could ever live without you. So ShanCai... could you reconsider it again for our happiness?"
ShanCai was very touched with AhSi's words and without even realizing it; the tears are dripping down on her cheek. She couldn't say anything. She felt so happy to hear how meaningful she is to him.
AhSi while wipe her tears- "Ayyyoohh.... silly, why are you crying? I didn't hurt you, did I? And I also won't leave you again. We will always be together forever.” He held on to her hand and hugged her hard.
While hugging each other...
