Chapter 26

AiSha...

It was almost seven at night when they reached the hotel. Both MeiZou & XiaoQiao haven’t talked to each other. After a while, both of them finished taking shower. MeiZou sat at the balcony, while XiaoQiao was sitting on the bedroom. Both of them were musing of what had happened earlier in the afternoon. Finally MeiZou decided to talk to XiaoQiao and explain everything and he walked toward the bed room….

MeiZou-“Hi XiaoQiao, I think it’s time for the dinner, do you want to have dinner here or we go to the restaurant downstairs?”

XiaoQiao was still upset and nagged at him-“ I don’t think I want to eat something now and for sure I tell you that I won’t eat unless you explain to me first about that girl.”

MeiZou was shocked at what he heard and sat on the bed next to her-“ Okay… okay… I’ll promise you, I’ll explain everything while we’re eating, so let’s get our dinner first.” Then he dragged her walked out the bedroom.

XiaoQiao-“No… I don’t want to go out, you just call the room service la….”

MeiZou-“ Okay… okay I’ll call if that’s what you want.”

After a while, the room service came bringing their food to the living room….

During the dinner…

XiaoQiao-“ So… how do you know that girl… when are you going to tell me… go ahead…”

MeiZou was thinking for a while-“ Hmmm… okay… I’ve known this girl for about 2 years ago.”

XiaoQiao sounded interested-“ Was she one of your ex-girlfriends? Which number was she?”

MeiZou smiled bitterly-“ No la…. She’s not one of them”

XiaoQiao was very surprised-“ So why were you so shocked when you saw her today?”

MeiZou-“ Yeah… because I never thought that I would ever see her again, let alone see her here in the middle of Barcelona.”

XiaoQiao-“ Let me make this clear, what I mean is, if she’s just a common girl for you just like your hundreds ex-girlfriends, why did you act so awkward in front of her, I’m a girl ok, I can tell if my boyfriend act weird in front of another girl that I’ve never met before.”

MeiZou-“ Okay… okay… I admit it, that she used to have a special place in my heart, but she was not my girlfriend.”

XiaoQiao looked confused-“ Huhh?!”

MeiZou-“ I knew her coincidently, she stole my wallet”

XiaoQiao looked surprised-“ Do you mean she’s a pickpocket and that’s made you impressed by her?”

MeiZou-“It’s not like that la… ok…it’s like this… she came from Japan to Taiwan to look for her granny. But actually she didn’t really know where to find her. After looked for so long, she ran out of money. Then she met some one who taught her became a pickpocket.”

XiaoQiao smiled sarcastic-“ After that you became one of her victims, right?”

MeiZou smiled bitterly-“ Well… I admitted that I was one of her victims, but after I knew her reason, I was concerned about her, I thought that she might need my help to look for her granny.”

XiaoQiao was surprised-“Did you help her?!”
