XiaoYou seemed surprised-“ Do you mean that you still love him then… what about your boyfriend? I know he lives in Taiwan but I guess he really loves and cares of you.”
XiaoGen, smiled-“Hehe… of course I know… he really loves me and does everything to make me happy and I think I’m in love with him too.”
Then she thought of what her boyfriend had done for her when she really need someone to comfort her, he always been there for her and helped her with all her problem including helping her find this job.
Then she continued-“ What I mean is, when I saw Ximen again, it just made me remember of our past. The nice memories, but when I started thinking about how he didn’t show up when needed him the most….” Her head suddenly lowered as the memories came rushing back… then continued,” Suddenly that feeling was gone again…hmmm… so I guess I really don’t love him anymore.”
XiaoYou felt a bit of relief when she heard this, so if the reason of XiMen coming here was to look for her, at least she could think about it more without worrying about hurting XiaoGen.
Then without them even realizing it, XiMen came approaching them.
XiMen-“ Hey… I’ve checked in already, so where are we going to go? Do you want to go home first or can we just go get dinner. I don’t want to eat here.” He exchanged looks with both of them.
XiaoGen-“ Hey… you want to eat again? I thought you just ate on the airplane.”
XiMen-“Hehe… I know… but it has been a few hours, and I had skipped my lunch when I slept… so I think I can have dinner twice la….”
XiaoGen-“ Hao la… hao la…. Let’s go get something to eat then and after that we can send you back here before we go home.”
Then all of them walked out from the hotel. They went to an Italian restaurant in downtown Toronto. It’s just a small restaurant but it is decorated very nicely to make it more romantic that go there. And it made XiMen and XiaoYou remember their first date when they ate in the Italian restaurant, in Taiwan, while tricking AhSi & ShanCai.
During the dinner….
XiaoGen-“ XiMen, have you gotten the address of your friend?”
XiMen was shocked when he heard XiaoGen asking him the same question again-“Ooh… I’ve gotten it.”
XiaoYou was surprised to hear this. She kept thinking, who is the person that XiMen has been looking for…
