During the dinner…
Lei-“ YeSha, thanks so much to taking me around here. I didn’t know before that Budan is such a nice place with the Himalayas mountain ranges all surrounding it.”
YeSha smiled-“ Yeahhh… it’s just a small & poor country.”
Lei-“ Hey… you shouldn’t say that…. Even if it’s small... but it’s rich of natural resources… don’t you realize how beautiful your country is.”
YeSha-“ Hehe… I know… we’re rich of natural resources, but to tell you the truth, economically… our country is really poor… that’s why my dad and my uncle agreed to the marriage between AhSi and I. Even now, he still blames me for calling the engagement off.” Then she started remembering… what had happened between her and AhSi. But Lei was watching her intently.
Lei-“ YeSha, do you still love AhSi?”
YeSha snapped back-“ Hehe… no la… I had buried all my memories with him. The Axing that I once knew is gone. Now all I see is AhSi, who is now my best friend’s husband.”
He was so impressed with her answer, he told to himself-“ She had been trying to forget him. She had given up on AhSi to make ShanCai happy, She really cares about her friend, kind of reminds me of ShanCai.”
Now YeSha was the one who stared at Lei-“ Lei, do you still love her?”
Lei was surprised to hear this-“ Ooh… Ooh… I think just like you, since ShanCai decided to choose AhSi; I had to bury all my memories of her and help her to find her happiness. Now she’s just the wife of my buddy but however if later she’ll need me to solve her problem, I think I’ll always be there for her. I think my feelings toward her right now are just like the feelings from a brother to his younger sister.”
YeSha upon hearing this told herself-“ Ooh… such a caring person. ShanCai must be a very lucky person to have AhSi and him, who both care so much of her… Oh My God…. Let me have such a nice person like him.”
YeSha snapped back-“ Lei… don’t worry la… I think a nice person like you later on will meet a nice girl who will be devoted to you with all her life.”
Le, smiled-“ I think the same with you too. Have you thought about a new boyfriend?”
YeSha laughed-“ Hehe… Lei… I haven’t thought about it. You know, I still have some problem with my health. If I had a boyfriend, I’m afraid I’d just a burden for him. Instead I should be taking care of him; maybe he’ll be taking care of me more. Hehe… what about you?”
Lei smiled-“Hmm… not right now… maybe later la…. I’m still busy with my work. Our company just back to normal again, last year we had some problem, and one of the vice president was corrupted.”
YeSha-“ Ooh… that’s why you need to go back and forth from Taiwan to Japan.”
Lei-“ “Yeah… hey… it’s getting late, we should go home, you still need to rest.” He looked at the time, and stoop up.
YeSha-“Hmm… it’s still early la… anyway this is the last night you’re here. I still want to take you somewhere else.”
Lei-“ Hehe… I know… but you still need lots of rest la… come on... you stubborn girl.” Then he dragged her by the hand.
YeSha-“ Hao la… hao la… you don’t need to call me that la… I still can walk by myself ma….”
Lei-“ Hehe… dui bu qi ma.” He bowed to her. Then both of them walked out from the restaurant, back to the palace.
The next morning, Lei has ready to get back to Taiwan. YeSha with his driver send him to the airport. Just a while before Lei boarded into the airplane
YeSha-“Thank you for taking care of me this past few days. I can only give you this.” And she handed him a package. Please open it later when you got into the plane.”
Lei-“ YeSha, you don’t need to say that, You’re one of my best friends, who else will take care of you if it’s not me. I’m leaving now… take good care k? Hopefully you will recover soon.”
YeSha-“Bye… bye Lei… I hope you will visit me again here sometime.”
Lei-“ Bye YeSha… I will…” Then he walked away from her and told himself-“ Why do I feel so strange leaving her… hmm… I guess maybe I’m just concerned about her.”
As soon as Lei got into his seat, he opened the wrapper right away. He was shocked by what he saw. It was a painting of his back view that YeSha drew. He wondered when YeSha painted this. He told to himself-“She must have done it last night. Thank You YeSha, you’re really a nice girl.” Then he wrapped it back.
