Vicky was surprised-“ You still remember, huh?”
MeiZuo smiled-“ Of course! Hmm and then Ika, Hirame, Tako, Ebi, Hokki, California rolls, Dragon Rolls, Tekka Rolls… hmm what else?” He looked around at everyone to get their opinions as well.
XiMen spoke up-“ I think we also want Sashimi Combination Deluxe.”
Cindy eagerly wrote down their orders down on her pad and then looked up-“ Anything else?”
MeiZuo placed his finger on the menu-“ Ooh… hold on… how about some Grilled Salmon and Udon Soup for XiaoQiao.”
Vicky teased him-“ Wow… such a caring boyfriend, huh?”
MeiZuo looked at her-“ Vic!!” His voice tensed a little.
Vicky smiled-“ Hehe… ok…ok… no more teasing you la… Hehe… hey Cindy… Could you also bring us the Banana Tempura for dessert later and I think green tea for everybody… is that okay with you guys?” She looked around.
All-“ Yeah ok….”
Then Cindy walked out of the room. At the same time, XiaoQiao had arrived at the restaurant and was led into the room by Andy. As soon as she stepped into the room, MeiZuo stood up.
MeiZuo walked towards her and held her by the shoulder-“ Hi hon… sit here…” He pulled out a chair at his right side, since Vicky was sitting at his left hand side.
XiaoQiao looked at everybody else-“ Hi guys… sorry I’m late.” Her eyes looked around the room and finally landed on Vicky.
Vicky smiled and looked at her-“ Hi… I’m Wan Xiao Ting… you can call me Vicky.” Then both of them shook hands.
MeiZuo looked at XiaoQiao-“ Oh hon… Vic is our childhood friend just like Jing. She moved to the Swiss about 10 years ago, which is why you haven’t met her before. Her parent own the Hong Yun Yin Hang, you know that bank, right?”
XiaoQiao replied-“ Hong Yun Yin Hang? The one that you work with…”
MeiZuo interrupted-“ Yup…yup… she approved my proposal, that’s why I wanted to celebrate…”
XiaoQiao smiled-“ Ooh really? That’s great then…. Thanks Vic…” She looked at Vicky.
Vicky smiled-“ Hehe… don’t worry about it… actually I’m not the one who decided… the board of directors did, after they reviewed MeiZuo’s proposal, they said it’s profitable, so why not?”
XiMen laughed-“Hahaha… maybe next time I’ll get some loans from you too… Can I?”
Before Vicky could answer his question, Cindy walked into the room with their orders.
Cindy-“ Okay guys…. Enjoy you dinner… if you need anything else, just let me know k?”
MeiZuo-“Thanks Cindy… we’ll let you know later.” Then she walked out and closed the door behind her.
All of them ate while chatting and joking. In about an hour and half, they finished eating. MeiZuo paid the bill and came up with an idea to go to the pub. He was so excited that his proposal had been approved and that Xiao Ting was here, he want to dance and drink a bit.
So they all went to After Dark pub right after dinner, XiaoQiao and XiaoTing were in the same car followed by XiMen and XiaoYou in the other car. After about thirty minutes of driving they were there. Cathy, the hostess leaded them to the table that they always sat at. It was in the corner. MeiZuo sat in between XiaoTing and XiaoQiao while XiMen and XiaoYou sat on the other side.
