Xiao Ting-"Bye guys." By that time she has disappeared with the elevator.
When she got into her room, she took a shower right away. After that, still wearing the bathrobe while drying her hair, she turned on the TV. But actually she wasn't really watching the TV, since her mind is still thinking of what had happened earlier at the After Dark. She told her self - "XiaoTing, how could you? How could you let it happen? What were you doing? What were you thinking? Stupid, stupid and stupid! Oh...God!! Only been back for one day and look at the trouble you've already caused...Ahhhh!"
Then she laid back on the bed... and mumbles to herself-"XiaoQiao, I really didn't mean for it to happen.... but seeing the sad expression on MeiZuo's face just made me want to comfort him... I just can't stand seeing him sad or confused.... Ooh God! Hopefully everything will be okay!"
Then she cover her face with both of her palms, but all of sudden, she crawled over and picked up her phone and scroll down the list... When she saw Lee Wei's name, was about to press the dial button, but she paused... looking at the name she thought-"No, I can't do this. He's already very busy at work, cannot distract him more with these kind of things, he has been so nice to me, I can't bear to see him hurt!"
Then scrolled down to MeiZuo's name and paused again. She put the phone back on the nightstand. She tried to get some sleep, but no matter how hard she tried she just couldn't, tossing and turning... then her phone rang and it was MeiZuo.
Vicky was surprised-" Wei?"
MeiZuo- "Wei Ting it's me, can I come over there now?"
Vicky - "MeiZuo? Where are you?"
MeiZuo-"I'm on the way back from XiaoQiao's house, I need to see you tonight, I need to explain something to you."
Vicky-"MeiZuo, I think it's late now, I'm afraid if XiaoQiao know that you came here, later she'll misunderstand again, anyway we're going to meet again tomorrow, why don't we just talk about it tomorrow?" Since she's not really ready to meet him again this soon.
MeiZuo-"Ok then, I won't go there, but please listen to me first."
Vicky took a deep breath-"Hmm… okay."
MeiZuo-"Ting, I'm so sorry for what I've done tonight. I really didn't mean to. I guess I was a bit drunk, I didn't even realize what I had been thinking. I---"
Vicky interrupted-"MeiZuo, you don't need to explain. I understand and it wasn't entirely all your fault either, I guess I was out of my mind too. I didn't even realize that XiaoQiao was there watching us. So how is she now?"
MeiZuo-"Ooh. She's okay now. I---"
Vicky interrupted again-"MeiZuo, if you need to stay here for a few more days, it's fine with me, we can delay the meeting with that Japanese company, and I can just go back by myself first."
MeiZuo-"Ting, no problem, she's fine now. I've explained everything to her, so there is nothing to worry about."
Vicky-"Are you sure?"
MeiZuo laughed-"Hehe. Of course I'm sure. Just go get some sleep now, tomorrow we will have a busy day, sleep tight, k?
Vicky smiled-"Hehe, okay. Good night MeiZuo!"
MeiZuo-"Good nigh, Ting..."
But before she hung up the phone, she called-"MeiZuo---"
MeiZuo asked back-"Yes Ting? What is it?"
Then Vicky answered-"Err… nothing, just wanted to say drive home safely and I'll see you tomorrow morning."
MeiZuo smiled-"Okay..." Then both of them hung up.
