It was the second day for MeiZuo in Japan and also another busy day for him and Xiao Ting. They had to give another presentation, continuation from yesterday. After that they reviewed everything again. Finally everything was prepared, now they are just waiting for the contract to be signed. MeiZuo came back to his office with Xiao Ting and they had dinner with his employees. After a while they were finished with the dinner and headed to Gnome to meet Lei. Lei was waiting for them when they got there.
Lei, smiled-“Hey… finally u’ve come…” gave MeiZuo a high five.
MeiZuo,smiled-“Hey… hey… I’ve never been late before… I think you are the one who's always late. :)”
Xiao Ting-“Lei… Dui Bu Qi la, its all my fault! :P…Because I drove the car…. But I am really not used to driving in traffics like this.” Stuck her tongue out.
MeiZuo, smiled-“And she didn’t let me drive.”
Lei, smiled-“Hehe… it’s okay… actually I’ve just arrived just a few minutes before you guys.” Then he looked at Xiao Ting-“Vic…. You look more beautiful everytime I see you.” And he hugged her.
Xiao Ting, smiled-“You look more handsome too…. Hehe… and I guess you’re a bit fatter than the last time I saw you.”
MeiZuo, laughed-“Hehe… of course…. Everyday he needs to eat a lot and then have his fifteen hours of sleep ma…”
Before Lei reply him, the waiter came approaching them brought the drink that Lei has ordered earlier.
MeiZuo, looked at Lei drink-“ Lei… You have vodka… Have you ordered for me?”
Lei, smiled-“Hehe… not yet.”
The Waiter-“What would you like to drink sir?”
MeiZuo-“Just give me vodka straight up like his.” Pointed at Lei’s drink. And he looked at Xiao Ting-“What about you? Do you want Peach Schnapps?”
Xiao Ting, smiled-“Hehe… what else? Unless you want to make me fall asleep right here. Then that means you'll have to carry me home!” Stuck her tongue out at him.
MeiZuo-“Oh hahaha, Ok ok … one Peach Schnapps for this pretty lady then.” Xiao Ting, blushed.
The Waiter-“Ok… one vodka staright up and one peach schnapps. I’ll be right back.” He walked away and then came back in a little while with their drinks.
Xiao Ting-“So Lei… what have you been doing lately?”
Lei, smiled-“Hmm… not much… only work and work.”
Xiao Ting-“How is Jing? She called me last time when she moved from France to Spain, but she hasn’t called me yet since she got there.” She didn’t know what had happened between him and Jing since she knew that Lei was so closed with Jing among other F4.
Lei, kind of shocked when he heard about Jing-“Ooh… I guess she is busy now…. She works for the law firm.” Pretended nothing had happened between him and Jing. But as always, Xiao Ting can smell there’s something is going on between him and Jing. So she decided to ask him more.
Xiao Ting-“Have you met her lately?”
Lei-“Yeah… I’ve met her at AhSi’s wedding.”
Xiao Ting, smiled-“ Ooh yeah… I forgot… all of you had gone there.....”
MeiZuo, interrupted-“So Lei, how’s Budan?”
Xiao Ting, confused-“Budan?”
MeiZuo-“Yeah…. From Spain, he went to Budan, to send Ye Sha home.”
Xiao Ting, more confused-“Ye Sha?”
MeiZuo-“Hmmm… she used to be Ah Si’s girlfriend when he lost his memory, now she’s our best friend.”
Xiao Ting, sounded interesting-“Ooh really? You didn't tell me about this. “
Then Lei and MeiZuo exaplained to her everything that had happened to AhSi.
MeiZuo-“Lei… you haven’t answered my question yet.”
Lei, smiled-“Hmm… I just spent one night there, not much…. And Ye Sha gave me one of her painting, the back view of me.”
MeiZuo, teased him-“Hey Lei… how come she’s so nice with you, why she didn’t give me one?”
Xiao Ting-“Of course she gave something to Lei, because he took care of her ma…”
MeiZuo, teased Lei again-“Hehe Lei, actually she’s a nice, smart girl and also brave… just like Shan Cai.”
Xiao Ting, got confused again-“Like Shan Cai? You mean AhSi’s wife?”
MeiZuo, smiled-“Yup…. Ye Sha's personality is just like ShanCai's, that’s why they became good friends, and I think that’s the also the reason when Ah Si lost his memory, he became close with her, I think without realizing it, she reminded him of Shan Cai…. Hey Lei… what do you think of her?” winked at him.
Xiao Ting-“Hey MeiZuo, why do you always tease him?” looked confused at both of them.
Lei-“Vic… I guess Mei Zuo made you confused, let me explain to you. I used to be close with Shan Cai, but nothing happened between us since I knew that she’s the girl that AhSi loves….”
Xiao Ting, interrupted-“Hehe… I know… I know…. And Ye Sha reminded you of her….hmm.. anyway what about Jing then…oopss…” She covered her mouth right away realizing she had said too much.
Lei, smiled-“Vic… I guess I can’t hide it from you…. Between me and Jing is already over. We’re just best friend now, just like me and you.”
Xiao Ting, surprised-“Ooh really? I didn’t know that…. I thought…..”
Lei, interrupted-“Since last time you met us in France right?”
Xiao Ting-“Yup… and Jing didn’t say anything either when she called to tell me that she is moving from France to Spain." But after that she tried to change the subject since she realized that she had said something wrong. “Ooh… I wonder how AhSi and his wife is doing now in Budan…. I mean I have met XiMen and you guys…. But… I haven’t heard anything from Ah Si himself.”
MeiZuo-“Hey, why don’t we call him now?” then looked at Lei-“ Lei, I think they’re suppose to be in Budan now, right?”
Lei, thought for a while-“What day is today? Hmmm… Thursday… yup… I think so.” Then he tried to call AhSi’s cell phone but it was off.
Lei-“I think they’re still busy by this time… They’ve just arrived I guess… maybe just one or two days.”
Xiao Ting, smiled-“ No problem, we can call them later.”
Lei-“Hey MeiZuo, how long are you gonna stay here?”
MeiZuo-“I suppose to go back to Taiwan tomorrow, but I’m not sure now, since I haven’t sign the contract yet, coz on the way here, my business partner had called me, he said that he has some emergency and need to go to Osaka tomorrow morning, if he can come back at the afternoon, we can sign the contract tomorrow, and I’ll be back to Taiwan with the night flight, otherwise we'll have to do it on Saturday morning and then I’ll fly back at night.”
Xiao Ting-“Hey… if you are still here tomorrow night, why don’t we have dinner together…. Tomorrow is Friday ma….”
Lei, smiled-“Yeah… why not?”
MeiZuo, smiled-“OK no problem…”
Xiao Ting-“Hey… I think it’s getting late now, we still need to work tomorrow.”
MeiZuo and Lei looked at the time-“Ooh okay.”
Lei-“MeiZuo, I guess I should say good bye to you now, if you should go home tomorrow.” Then he hugged him.
MeiZuo-“Ok Lei… see you soon… I still need to come back here again.”
Lei, hugged Xiao Ting-“See you soon k?”
Xiao Ting, smiled-“ See you too Lei.”
Then all of them walked out from the pub.
