It was around nine in the morning, when Ah Si woke up. Seeing Shan Cai still sleeping so tight, AhSi got up slowly from bed and walked out to the kitchen.
Yu Sao, smiled-“Good Morning Ah Si Shao Ye.”
AhSi-“Morning Yu Sao.” Looked around in the kitchen.
Yu Sao-“Shao Ye, do you need something?”
AhSi, smiled-“Hmm… actually I wanna cook something for ShanCai.”
Yu Sao, surprised-“Can you cook?”
AhSi-“Yeah… why not? Just see la…”
Yu Sao, smiled-“Ooh… I’m so happy now…. Shao Ye is really grown up now. Do you need my help?”
AhSi, smiled-“Hmm… I think I don’t need anything now…. But Yu Sao, could you watch Shan Cai for me please…. Hmm… actually I wanna make a surprise for her, so if she wakes up, don’t let her walked out from the bedroom k?”
Yu Sao-“Ooh okay Shao Ye..” then she walked away from the kitchen.
After a while Ah Si has finished cooking breakfast. He cooked two omlette for him and Shan Cai. He also prepared some orange juice for Shan Cai and coffee for him self, he put them on a tray and carried it to his bedroom. When he stepped into the bedroom, ShanCai was just waking up. Seeing AhSi wasn’t on the bed, she looked around and finally saw him standing in front of her holding a tray.
ShanCai, smiled-“AhSi, what’s this?” Pointed at the tray.
AhSi, sat next to her-“Our breakfast my dear.” Showed her the tray.
ShanCai, looked at the tray-“Woow… omelette? Hmmm… did you wake up early just to ask guan jia to prepare all of this?”
AhSi, a bit annoyed-“ Hey… hey… I’ve made this by my self k? Did you forget that I used to work at the breakfast café… of course I can make this omlette la….. if you don’t believe me, just ask Yu Sao la….”
ShanCai, smiled-“Hao la…hao la… I believe you la….. I know my dear husband can cook ma…”
When hearing ShanCai said my dear husband his face became red as tomatoes-“ShanCai, try please…” Handed her a fork.
ShanCai-“AhSi, why don’t we sit over there to eat?” Pointed to the sofa on the corner of the room.
AhSi, stood up-“ Ooh okay.” Walked to the sofa and put the tray on the coffe table, while Shan Cai tried to get up from the bed. But when she tried to stand up….
ShanCai-“ Arghhhhhh…….” While putting one of her hand on her back and another one on her stomach, then she sat down again on the bed.
AhSi, came approaching her, sat next to her-“ShanCai, what’s wrong?”
ShanCai, looked pale-“Hmmm…. I guess my pms…. Everytime before I get my period I always feel like this."
AhSi, getting worried-“ Do you have the medicine for that or do you wanna see the doctor?”
ShanCai-“Hmm… I had the medicine for this, but I don’t have it now…..”
AhSi, interrupted-“ I can go get you some medicine now.” Stood up but ShanCai hold his hand.
ShanCai-“AhSi, hold on…. You don’t need to…. I think I just need some more rest, could you get me some hot tea please….?”
AhSi-“Oh..okay…I’ll be right back.” Then he walked away get her the hot tea and brought back to her and she sipped it right away.
AhSi, held her shoulder-“ Are you feeling better now?”
ShanCai-“Yeah… I guess… but I was just thinking, its never this bad before…. I mean it used to be pain, but I still can walk la… but just now, I can't even walk.”
AhSi-“ Maybe we should see the doctor then.”
ShanCai, forced smiled-“ Don’t need la….”
AhSi, interrupted-“ But….”
ShanCai, smiled- AhSi… I’m fine now…. Hey… let’s eat our breakfast before it’s getting cold…hmm… I feel so hungry now….ooh….. my husband has cooked for me…” Then she stood up from the bed with AhSi holding her hand as they walked to the sofa.
