Xiao Ting, smiled and held his hand- "MeiZuo, the decision is yours. No one else can tell you what should or shouldn't you do, not even me. You know what? In love, there isn't right or wrong, there's only the matter of love or not love. I know you're suffering because you don't want to do anything to hurt Xiao Qiao. But if you stay with her just because you are afraid of hurting her, in the long run you will not only hurt her but also your self."
Then she took a deep breath before continue- "You can pretend to be with someone for a while, but can you pretend it for the rest of your life? There's a saying...'Chang Tong Bu Ru Duan Tong'. If you really don't love her, then you need to tell her, don't underestimate the strength a girl could have. If you tell her now, you might still be able to stay as her friend, just like us. But if you wait until later, not only it will be even more painful for the both of you but also you might loose her as your friend."
MeiZuo, interrupted- "Vic?"
Xiao Ting, snapped back of her thought and smiled- "Oopss, sorry la. I didn't mean to bring the old stuff up. Hmmm, but anyway." She yawned- "No matter what your decision is, I will always be on your side to support you!" While smiling and getting up- "I think its time for you to get some sleep, tomorrow you still have another meeting in the morning... Good night!" About to walked out.
MeiZuo, got up- "Vic… wait!!"
Vic, turned back-"Yes..?"
MeiZuo, came approaching her- "Thanks for listening. Good night!" And gave her a peck on her cheek.
Xiao Ting, smiled- "No problem. What friends are for right?!" then she walked out from his room and up the stairs to her room.
When she got into her bed, she tried to sleep, but she couldn't. While laying down on her bed, suddenly the moment of a few days before she left Taiwan ten years ago appeared again, when she was sitting on MeiZuo's lap with his arms wrapped around her waist.
Xiao Ting, turned back- "Mei Zuo."
Mei Zuo, smiled- "Uh..?"
Xiao Ting-"Um...There is something I have been thinking for a long time.." while looking at him.
MeiZuo concerned-"Ting, what is it?!"
Xiao Ting-"We've known each other since we're young, you've always been good to me. The time that we've spend together are the most happiest times for me, I really don't want to leave you." Hugged him.
MeiZuo- "Same here." Gave her a quick kiss on the forehead and held her tighter.
Xiao Ting, with gloomy face- "But I have to. After I leave this time, don't know when I'll be able to come back."
