Ximen, smiled-“Mom…. Sorry we’re late…. The traffic was so bad.”
Mrs. XiMen, smiled-“Hmmm…. No problem…. Actually I have come earlier…. You’re just in time….” Stood up and looked at Xiao You-“ hmm….. You must be Xiao You, right?”
Xiao You, smiled-“Hi Mrs. XiMen….. How are you? It’s really nice to meet you.” Went over to her.
Mrs.XiMen, hugged her-“Nice to meet you too my dear….. finally we can meet each other.”
XiMen, smiled -“Ummm Mom, how about we order some food first? I’m starving already….” Pulled out the chair for Xiao You that next to him.
Mrs. XiMen, while sitting back on her chair, smiled-“ Hehe…. Ok… let’s order then…”
Then XiMen snapped his finger calling the waiter. The waiter came approaching them and took their order. While waiting for the food….
Mrs. XiMen, looked at Xiao You who is sitting across from her-“How are you doing lately?”
Xiao You, smiled-“Ooh… fine Mrs. Ximen, and I have been working with XiMen.”
Mrs. XiMen, smiled-“Ooh Good… do you like it?”
Xiao You, nodded her head-“ Yeah… I like it…. I have learned a lot from XiMen….How about you Mrs.XiMen?”
Mrs.XiMen-“I’m fine….Ooh…..I’m so glad you two can work together…. So in the future I don’t need to worry about the company.”
Xiao You, smiled-“I’ll do my best Mrs. Ximen…”
Mrs. XiMen, interrupted-“You don’t need to call me Mrs. XiMen…just call me mom la… since you’re going to be my daughter in-law.”
Xiao You blushed and looked at XiMen.
XiMen, nodded his head-“Yeah Xiao You…. Just call Mom…”
Xiao You, smiled-“Yes Mom…”
Mrs. XiMen, smiled-“That’s good then…. So How’s your parents?”
Xiao You-“Ooh… they’re doing fine… They are living in Canada…Hmmm… I heard from XiMen that you've just came back from Canada.”
Mrs.XiMen-“Oh Yes…. I just came back from Vancouver and New York few days ago…. If I knew you earlier I can visit your parents there.”
Xiao You, smiled-“Ooh… that’s so nice of you mom….”
Mrs. XiMen, smiled-“Hehe….Of course I wanna know my in-law la….”
Right after that, the waiter came bringing their food and served them…. While eating….
Mrs.XiMen-“Hmmm… actually…. I wanna ask something to both of you.” Exchanged look at XiMen and Xiao You-“What’s your plan? I mean for the marriage…”
Upon hearing this once again Xiao You blushed and looked at XiMen, while XiMen answered his mom-“Mom….you know right…. I’ve already proposed her…. So I think we gonna get married after Xiao You’s graduation.”
Mrs.XiMen, thinking for a while-“Hmmm…. When would it be? Xiao You, when is your graduation?”
Xiao You-“It’s during the last week of April Mom…”
Mrs. XiMen, thinking again for a while-“Hmmm… the end of April…. I think I should clear up my schedule around that time…. So maybe I can go with XiMen to meet your parents.”
XiMen, surprised and smiled-“Ooh really mom? That’s good..”
Xiao You, blushed- "Thanks Mom… hmmm…. What about Uncle?.. ”
XiMen - "Uncle? Shouldn't you ..."
Xiao You, interrupted - "Oh sorry, Dad :)" XiMen smiled.
Looking at them so happy, Mrs.XiMen’s face turned to be gloomy-“Well…. I’m not sure about that my dear…. You know…. Ximen’s dad is so busy…” XiMen’s face became gloomy when heard this.
Xiao You, smiled-“Ooh no problem Mom… anyway I’m already so happy to hear that you’ll come…. I think my parent will be so happy too.”
Mrs. XiMen looked at the gloomy face of her son-“Anyway… I’ll try to talk with him… Don’t worry k?” :)
Then she thought for a while-“Hmm… I was thinking for the wedding, what about around May or June? Here in Taipei, unless you want to go to Canada? I’m not sure about my schedule yet and your dad’s schedule… “ Looked at XiMen-“Let me check later….” Looked at Xiao You….. What do you think Xiao You? I’m sure no problem with XiMen” smiled looking at her son.
Xiao You, smiled-“ I think Taipei is just fine, but I think I should ask my parents about the date thou.”
Mrs.XiMen, smiled-“Hehe… of course you should to ask your parent la, so for now the location is set, but if you want to change just tell me anytime.”
Xiao You-“Oh…oh… ok thanks Mom… anyway I think there should be no problem with them.”
Mrs.XiMen-“That’s good then…” Looked at the time-“I think we should leave now…. XiMen… why don’t you send Xiao You home?”
Xiao You-“What about you Mom?”
Mrs.XiMen, smiled-“ Hehe… don’t worry about me…. My driver is still waiting for me…. I can go home by myself.”
XiMen-“Ok Mom…. See you later.”
Mrs.XiMen, stood up-“See you later son” looked at XiMen and came over Xiao You and hugged her-“See you Xiao You…. take care k? Don’t work too hard like XiMen…”
Xiao You, smiled-“Hehe…. Take care of you too…. See you Mom….”
Mrs.XiMen-“Ok… I gotta go now…. XiMen…. Don’t forget to bring her over to house sometimes, I could use some companie and I’ll cook for the both of you also.”
XiMen, interrupted-“Yeah Xiao You…. mom is a really good cook, you'll have to try it.”
Xiao You, smiled-“Ooh…. I’ll love to come….”
Mrs.XiMen-“ Bye….”
XiMen and Xiao You-“ Bye mom…” And all of them walked out from the restaurant
