Just a few days ago before he left for Japan, he'd told XiaoQiao that he loved her and promised her that he wouldn’t ever hurt her again, but then in Japan he had met up with AiSha again coincidently for the second time in two weeks. And today XiaoQiao asked him for temporary break-up.
The Decision was placed in front of him, yet he didn’t know what to do. Small parts of his heart were still filled with the happy memories he had shared with AiSha, yet the other half was filled with XiaoQiao. Now he was really confused. He kept standing there till Guan Jia came over to him with an umbrella since it had already started to rain. Guan Jia asked him to come inside, but instead of coming inside the house, he went and sat in the patio facing the backyard garden of his house. Then he started dazing again.
Meanwhile XiaoTing was done with her shopping. On the way back home, she stopped by at the grocery store to buy something. When she got home, she looked around for MeiZuo in his room, but she didn’t see him. She asked Guan Jia if he went to send XiaoQiao home, but Guan Jia said he didn’t go and he should be in the house somewhere. Then she asked Guan Jia to look for him while she started to prepare for their dinner.
After a while, XiaoTing was done preparing their dinner. Guan Jia told her that MeiZuo was sitting in the back patio. She went over to tell him the dinner was ready. But when she got there, MeiZuo was still dazing off; he didn’t even realize Xiao Ting was there, till she gently tapped his shoulder.
XiaoTing-“Hi… I’m home…I’ve been looking for you… The raining just stopped; don’t you think it’s a bit cold? Why are you sitting here by yourself?”
MeiZuo turned back to look at her-“Ooh… You’re back…” And then he started dazing again.
XiaoTing said with a confused look-“MeiZuo… Is there something wrong?”
MeiZuo just ignored her question, but seeing him like this made XiaoTing even more curious, then she pulled up a chair and sat in front of him.
XiaoTing smiled and waved her hand in front of his face-“Hallo… Hallo… I’m here… what’s wrong with you?”
MeiZuo force a smile- “I know you are here…”
XiaoTing smiled-“Is there anything wrong between you and XiaoQiao? You’re acting weird again…”
MeiZuo interrupted her while standing up-“Nothing wrong la…. Let’s go inside I’m kind of hungry now… I haven’t eaten my lunch yet… And it’s dinner time now….”
XiaoTing smiled- “That’s why I came here Shao Ye…. Your dinner is ready.”
Then both of them walked toward the dining room. On the dining table, Xiao Ting had prepared some food that she made by herself.
MeiZuo was surprised-"Hey how come guan jia is so smart today, knows exactly what I want to eat... but um.. it looks yummy but um... doesn't look like chef's cooking though... " He said while picking up a peice of california rolls...
Xiao Ting, slapped his hand "Don't you even think about it!" handed him a wet towel... "Clean your hands first!"
Mei Zuo - "Oh okay..." Give her a ugly face while taking the towel...
Just at this time, Guan Jia came over to the dinning table-“Shao Ye… Actually XiaoTing Xiao Jie was the one who prepare all of these…”
MeiZuo unbelieved and looked at her-“Ooh really? You’ve made all of these by yourself?” And he looked at all the food-“Hmm… miso soup… sashimi… Kani rolls… Unagi rolls, Tekka rolls… hmm so many kind of sushi…”
XiaoTing pointed a bottle in front of him-“Hehe… and also I have this…”
MeiZuo looked at the bottle-“Plum wine? Wow… you’re so smart…. Your future husband must be so lucky to have you as his wife…. Ok lets eat then…I’m hungry now…”
