He snapped back since he heard ShanCai called his name and came approaching her to the dining table.
Seeing his gloomy face, ShanCai-“AhSi, is there anything wrong? What else did Doctor Robert say? Why is your face suddenly change like that?” looked at him with confused looked on her face.
AhSi-“He told me you’re five weeks pregnant…”
ShanCai, surprised-“Five weeks?! But we just got married for three weeks….”
AhSi-“That’s what I told him, maybe he did miscounting……”
ShanCai, interrupted-“What did he say?”
AhSi-“He said no…. But how can five weeks…. Five weeks ago we wearn't even together….”
ShanCai, annoyed-“Did u suspect me that I did it with someone else?”
AhSi, surprised-“My dear…. Please listen to me…. I didn’t say that…. That’s what you thought….”
ShanCai, almost cried since she really couldn’t control her emotion lately-“So why did you say like that…. I know we just met again about three weeks ago…!! And I know five weeks ago I was in Taiwan and Lei was there also…..!!! Do you think that I did it with him?! You still don’t trust me, do you?!” the tears started flowing down on her cheek.
AhSi didn’t know what to say seeing her like this, he told to himself-“Of course I trust you… but I really don’t know what’s going on…..”:(
Then ShanCai continued while crying-“AhSi… please tell me… is that because last night Lei called and you thought could be his child? Is that it AhSi? How come you still don’t trust me? Don’t you realize how I had suffered waiting for you to come back? AhSi… please tell me…. Please…..”
AhSi, felt guilty and hugged her while wiping the tears-“My dear…. Don’t say like that please…. Seeing you crying like this makes my heart ache…. Of course I truly trust you…. I just wondered how could that doctor said five weeks…. Please don’t cry... Please….”
Seeing ShanCai stopped crying, AhSi continued-“Anyway…. The doctor said we need to go this afternoon to see him again…. He said he’ll explain something about your pregnancy…. So please throw away all those thought k? Maybe he did something wrong… or??… anyway let’s see what he gonna explain… so don’t ever think again that I don’t trust you k?” gave her his adorable smiled.
ShanCai, smiled-“Yeah…. But you did it first…..”
AhSi, smiled-“Ok….ok…. that’s all my fault…. Now I’m ready to get the punishment from my princess…” knelt down on the floor while holding her hand.
ShanCai, laughed-“Hahaha…. Ok…ok… get up la…..I’m fine now….”
AhSi, smiled-“No…. I should get the punishment…. Since I’ve made my princess crying again….I still remember my promise…. I won’t make you cry again…”
ShanCai, thinking for a while and smiled-“Hmmm….. ok…. If that’s what you want….You should carry me back to our room now….”
AhSi, interrupted-“Hey…. That’s not the punishment ma…. Of course I won’t let you step up on that stairs…. That’s too dangerous for you especially you’re carrying our child now….” while rubbing her tummy, both of them blushed.
Then he continued-“So what’s the punishment…. I’ll be very happy to do anything u want me to do…” :)
ShanCai, smiled-“Hao la…. Hao la… let me tell you later la…. Now suddenly I feel like wanna finish all this food…. ”
AhSi, smiled-“Hehe… that’s good…I’m so happy to hear that….hmmm…. the baby must feel hungry now….” while placing food into her mouth.
ShanCai, tried to stop him-“AhSi…. Don’t need in rush la…. I can eat by myself…. If you do it in hurry like that… later I’ll throw up….”
AhSi ,smiled-“Ooh ok…..”
After a while AhSi and ShanCai have finished with their breakfast. When ShanCai was about to stand up, AhSi came approaching her right away and when he was about to carry her, ShanCai-“Hmm… AhSi…..Actually you don’t need to carry me…. I was just kidding before…. I still can walk….”
AhSi-“No my dear… it’s dangerous for you and the baby….”
ShanCai, laughed-“Haha…. Who said so? How can walk be dangerous for the baby?”
AhSi-“Dear…. Can’t you see that you need to step up on the stairs? Your body is still weak now…. what about if you slip and fall down? I’ll regret for the rest of my life k? Now don’t be so stubborn… just let me carry you…. and after this you need to take a nap again….I’ll go first checking the progress of our restaurant….. they said they gonna send the furniture this noon…..I’ll come back around one… then I’ll wake you up later before we go…” while carrying her.
ShanCai, smiled-“Yes My dear…”
AhSi, hearing what ShanCai said-“That’s really my princess…. You should call me like that…” with a huge grinned on his face. Then both of them were back to their room.
