“Happy Two Months, Yoochun,” Junsu murmured again before laying a kiss on his boyfriend’s left cheek.
Yoochun’s eyes went wide. Junsu couldn’t see because Yoochun was sitting with his back against Junsu’s chest.
Yoochun felt Junsu’s arms tighten even more around his waist and didn’t know what to think. What did this mean? He felt so confused.
Then he heard Junsu’s small giggle and wondered if he was hallucinating. Yoochun untangled himself from Junsu’s arms so that he could turn his body around to face the older man. “What are you laughing at?”
“Remember back on the island…?”

“That was a disgusting breakfast!” Mr. Kim exclaimed as he felt his way into the living room.
“Did you even get anything into your mouth?” Yoochun retorted. That was a mistake because he could almost see steam coming out of his employer’s ears.
“You…” Mr. Kim began as he took several huge steps forward. Yoochun silently complimented Mr. Kim for being able to follow his voice as he walked towards his housekeeper.
At least his ears were keen.
“Wait, the floor is wet!”
Too late, because Mr. Kim shouted a curse before gliding towards Yoochun on the wet floor.
Yoochun quickly dropped the mop and ran to catch the blind man before he would fall. Unfortunately, Yoochun slipped and the two collided into each other; chest to chest, forehead to forehead.
Yoochun felt himself fall backwards just as he got a hold on the front of Mr. Kim’s shirt. Seconds later, he was flat on his back and his wide eyes saw the other man falling towards him.
A scene in a movie flashed through his mind, the one in which lips would meet lips when a couple would trip and fall on each other!
Yoochun gasped and quickly turned his face so that his lips won’t meet Mr. Kim’s lips. Unfortunately, he was too freaked out to think and had turned his head to the right. Those plump lips met the scar on his left cheek.
Yoochun froze and forgot how to breathe.
Mr. Kim lifted his head a little and his lips were only centimeters from Yoochun’s cheek.
His famous frown reappeared. “I didn’t kiss your lips, did I?”
“No,” Yoochun peeped. He didn’t know he could reach such a high note.

Yoochun smiled. “Of course, how can I forget?”
“Our first kiss happened that day too.”
Yoochun grinned, turned back so that his back rested against Junsu’s chest. He suddenly didn’t feel the need to be confused anymore.
This is what he’d been hoping for and he had been a little shocked when it finally came.
But he was getting used to it already.

“I need to give this file to Mr. Kim,” Yoochun informed the receptionist. She gave him a weird look because he was wearing a hat and a flu mask.
Then she saw an important (rich and handsome) client walk into the office and directed Yoochun to go to Mr. Kim’s office on his own.
Yoochun rolled his eyes at the girl and walked in to find Junsu. He was hesitant at first, afraid that someone would see his face. It was just bad timing that Junsu had left an important file at Yoochun’s house and the other four were too busy to help Yoochun take the file to Junsu.
He tugged his hat farther down and made sure his flu mask was still in place.
Everyone else was too busy to notice.
“Excuse me, I have a file for Mr. Kim,” Yoochun tried to talk to the person closest to the entrance.
“I’m busy. Go ask his secretary. She’s over there,” the person brushed him off without even looking up from the stacks of paper.
Yoochun understood that he was busy and walked over to the secretary. “Excuse me, I have a…”
“Find a seat and wait. I’ll be with you in a minute,” the secretary told him before running off with a stack of folders in her arms.
The bustling in the office continued in every section of the place and Yoochun still couldn’t find someone to help him. So he went to find the office that had Junsu’s name tag on the door.
Before he could even knock, the door was pulled open and Junsu nearly ran into him.
“Yoochun?” Junsu looked at his masked boyfriend with wide eyes.
“You forgot this,” Yoochun held up the file.
“Thank goodness! We were all going crazy trying to find it!” Junsu grabbed the file and ran pass Yoochun to give the file to his secretary, and then allayed his team’s worries. The bustling seemed to have stopped and everyone looked so relieved.
“Everything should be taken care of by 3:30,” his secretary informed.
“This contract will be ours for sure!” another clapped.
“Everyone has worked hard for this project. I’ll treat everyone to buffet tonight,” Junsu smiled. Everyone cheered.
Yoochun remained standing alone at the door and felt so proud. Then he recalled that he really shouldn’t be here so he silently walked around the desks and slipped out.
“Yoochun, you have to come…” Junsu stopped talking when he turned around to find his boyfriend gone. “Where’d he go?”
“I saw him walking out behind your back. Who is he, boss?”
Junsu felt guilty again. Yoochun had left in such a rush because he didn’t feel like he belonged. But then, Junsu had always been too stupid to tell Yoochun that he was wrong.
“Boss?”
Junsu turned back to face his employees. With a proud smile, he informed, “He’s my boyfriend.”

“What?”
“Come on!”
“No!”
“Why not?”
“Why would I?”
“Because I’m treating everyone for their hard work! You helped us gain this billion dollar contract too so you have to come!”
“But Junsu, I don’t want to force you…”
“You’re not forcing me. I’m forcing myself. I have to do this. This is the only obstacle in my way and I have to get pass it. I have no other option. Losing you is NOT an option! You’ve put up with me for two months already. It’s about time I do something in return.”
Yoochun looked down, trouble on his brows. He’d wanted a day for this to happen, but at the same time, he didn’t want Junsu to do it.
But he knew that unless they resolved this, there would always be that sense of a lie, mistrust, suspicion; a painful gap between them.
“Are you afraid of the outcome?” Junsu stepped closer to take both of Yoochun’s hands into his own.
“I am,” Yoochun replied truthfully, not wanting to look into Junsu’s eyes.
“Don’t be afraid. Trust that I can do this. Yoochun, look at me,” Junsu smiled. “Look on the bright side, it won’t feel like I’m forcing myself because you’ll be by my side. I fear losing you more than anything else.”
Yoochun felt his eyes moistened and silently told himself to not be such a wimp. “Okay,” he nodded with a smile.
Junsu broke into a grin, sighing from relief. “Then go get changed. We have enough time to stop by for you to get a haircut and then get to the restaurant.”
“A haircut?”
“Sweetie, if you don’t get a haircut, everyone is going to think that I’m straight,” Junsu teased as he played with Yoochun’s long hair.
Yoochun laughed, because Junsu depended on Yoochun’s laughter (Yoochun’s strength) in order for himself to be strong.
He was teasing and joking, but Yoochun knew that there was still the slight hesitation in his eyes. But that was okay, because it was only a little bit, at least it was less than before...
