Ming Dao (POV): No matter how fierce you will be, I will bear with it because I know I cannot afford to lose you.
Qiao En's mother and her opened the door and were surprised to see Ming Dao outside.
Mrs. Chen: Ming Dao what are you doing here?
Qiao En avoided his eye contact.
Ming Dao: Aunty, I am here to pick Qiao En up to the airport.
Mrs. Chen: How did you know she's going overseas?
Ming Dao *looking at Qiao En *: Because both of us are going for the convention in Australia.
Mrs. Chen: Really?? Qiao En why didn't you tell me?
Qiao En: This is not important.
Mrs. Chen: Ming Dao, must take good care of Qiao En hoh?
Ming Dao: No worries. I will.
Ming Dao walked towards Qiao En wanted to help with her luggage but she refused.
Qiao En: Ma. Go in lah!
Mrs. Chen: OK! Both of you enjoy!
Qiao En gave her mother a sickening look. After her mother went in, she hopped on to the cab with Ming Dao but she sat at the front seat, leaving Ming Dao alone at the back seat.
Reaching the airport...
Qiao En *while taking her luggage *: I am only sharing the cab with you because I don't wish to miss the flight. Dont think too much!
Ming Dao *grins *: Then why are you explaining?
Qiao En (POV): Yah hor! Why am I explaining to him? Looks like my nightmare is coming!
Ming Dao (POV): Chen Qiao En ah Chen Qiao En! You gave yourself away by explaining.
Ming Dao: Let's go in bah or else we will really miss the flight.
Through out the journey, Ming Dao tried talking to Qiao En but she pretended to sleep.
Qiao En (POV): Ming Dao, I am sorry but I really need time to digest the whole matter.
Ming Dao *looking at her * (POV): I know you are pretending to sleep to avoid me, no matter what you still have to face me one day.
Ming Dao *taking his jacket and put on her, afraid that she might feel cold *: Rest well bah! I guess you didn't really have a good rest since that day.
Qiao En (POV): I am so cold towards him yet he is still so concern about me. That day my attitude was bad too. I guess take things at a step. Let nature takes its course.
Several hours later, by the time they reached Australia is already late in the evening. As Ming Dao has always been to Australia so he knows the way to the apartment the director had chosen for them. Upon reaching the place..
Qiao En: Woah! That's beautiful! What a lovely sea view! Think will be able to see sunset from this view.
Ming Dao (POV): I really feel like hugging her from behind but I know she would scream and avoid me more if I do so now. I shall just stand here and watch her from behind.
After quite some time,
Ming Dao: So choose your room bah! Don't say I bully you.
Qiao En: Hmmp!
Ming Dao: Eh!
Walking further into the house, she looked at every single corner.
Qiao En *pointing to a room with sea view *: I want this room.
Ming Dao: Ok. Are you hungry?
Qiao En shakes her head.
Ming Dao: Rest early bah. Tomorrow will be a long day.
In her room, lying on the bed.
Qiao En (POV): *sigh * have to face him for another few more days. Do I really like him? His caring gestures really touched me. Wait! Chen Qiao En! You can't fall for him just because of that. I wonder what is going to happen if Wei Ru and the rest know about it. I guess they will scream their heads off!
That night both of them finally had a good rest after that incident.
