This day, Qiao En saw a little boy crying along the corridor so she walked towards him without realising Ming Dao is watching from behind.
Qiao En: Little boy, why are you crying?
Boy: I came out and play then i can't find my way back.
Qiao En *tapping his head*: Ok.. don't cry. Big sister bring you back? Come, let me carry you.
The boy stopped crying and allowed Qiao En to carry him. As they walk Qiao En kept telling jokes to the boy and he laughs.
Ming Dao (POV): She has something in dealing with little kids. If she's not that fierce, everything will be good. She's so nice to others, except me. *sigh*
???: Announcement! Dr. Lin Ming Dao, could you please kindly proceed to OT1, there's an urgent case for you.
Ming Dao ran towards Qiao En..
Ming Dao: Qiao En, let's go to OT1.
Qiao En: ok.
Both of them ran towards the OT.
Nurse: Dr. Lin, there's an urgent case that needs you to perform a surgery.
Ming Dao *in a steady and serious tone*: ok! I'll get changed, get ready all the necessary stuff! Qiao En, you get changed too.
Qiao En: OrH!.
During the operation, Qiao En had seen the other side of Ming Dao.
Qiao En (POV): That's the serious side of him when he doesn't flirt around. He is a gentleman afterall..
An hour plus later..
Ming Dao: The op is successful. Let's go out bah.
Qiao En: Orh.
As they were walking..
Ming Dao: So what do you think?
Qiao En: Erm. tell you something, you look like a little old man when you're serious. I know operation is important, but being so fierce in the OT will scare people around you leh..
Ming Dao: eh! I find it so weird, when i talk, smile to other girls, you say i'm flirting not serious. Now i'm serious you said i looked like a little old man!
Qiao En: That's the truth what!
Timing is just right, before an arguement breaks out, someone appeared.
Shao Wei: Qiao En..
Qiao En *turns her head*: Eh! Shao Wei, just performed an Op?
Shao Wei: yah!
Ming Dao (POV): Shao Wei?
Ming Dao *turns his head*: Shao Wei, you know her?
Shao Wei: Of course loh! How can i not know her?
Ming Dao: Oh..
Shao Wei: Qiao En, so same timing today?
Qiao En: Yep! Let's go for seafood!
Shao Wei: Er.. Ming Dao, want to join us for dinner?
Qiao En *interrupts*: aiyo! Why bother to ask him along? He has so many girls on his queue. Just a call and they will have dinner with him. Let's not trouble him lah!
Ming Dao (POV): *angry* Chen Qiao En!! You WIN!!
Shao Wei: Hmm.. if that's the case then next time wor..Ming Dao..
Ming Dao *fake smiles*: yah! Next time bah.
Ming Dao (POV): Both of them seems so close huh!
Ming Dao *walks away*
Ming Dao *shouting as he walks*: Chen Qiao En, are you coming along?
Qiao En: Shao Wei, see you tonight then! Bye lor..
Shao Wei: ok.
Qiao En *rushed towards Ming Dao*: Hey! You're being weird lor! Want to walk away don't tell me...
Ming Dao: Shao Wei and you very close isit?
Qiao En: Your problem ah?
Ming Dao: Just asking, don't have to be so fierce right?
