This evening, after dinner, Qiao En wanted to go to the room and rest because she doesn't feel well. Who knows along the way she fainted, Ming Dao doesn't know until Xiao Jie shouted.
Xiao Jie: GOR! Da Sao fainted!!!
He rushed out of the study room, carried her up and rushed to the hospital.
At the hospital, Mr. & Mrs. Lin, Xiao Jie and Ming Dao waited outside the ward until Dr. Tan came out.
Mrs. Lin: Dr. Tan, how is she?
Dr. Tan: She is just having a slight fever and anemic. She will be fine after some rest.
All of them heaved a sigh of relief. Ming Dao asked Mr. & Mrs. Lin to go back and rest while he stays in the hospital. After confirming they had left.
Xiao Jie *angry *: Gor! What kind of husband are you? You don’t even notice that your wife is sick??
Ming Dao *guilty*: I...
Xiao Jie: You what you!! You have been married for 2 months! On the surface, yes both of you indeed loving but behind all these I don't know. You are still thinking of Xiao Qiao right? You still love her right? If you really love Qiao En, you won't even notice that she wasn't feeling well! If it's Xiao Qiao, you would have noticed that without people telling!
Ming Dao *guilty*: No such thing!
Xiao Jie: I can see and feel for myself! When you are still handicapped, who is the one by your side? When you met with an accident who donated blood to you willingly?
Ming Dao: She was being pulled by Dr. Tan am I right?
Xiao Jie *angry *: Pulled?? You ask Dr. Tan for yourself!
Dr. Tan: Who said I pulled her to donate? Your ex-fiancée doesn't want to donate despite she is suitable. She even claimed that it is her blood and she decides if she wants to donate. Qiao En is the one who came up willingly to donate her blood to you. We requested for 300cc but she donated more than that to you. She said so long as you are fine, it doesn't matter to her and even told us not to tell you she is the donor. The other time regarding your leg, we were discussing to use Xiao Qiao's engagement to agitate you. All of them disapprove except Qiao En. I felt very guilty after telling her that after you recover, you might not want her already. Despite that, she insists on going again with the plan. She rather be abandoned by you then to see you relying on wheelchair forever. She is willing to forsake her love in exchange for your health. Ming Dao must cherish this wife of yours. She saved your life twice.
Ming Dao took a few steps back and ran towards her ward.
Ming Dao *looking at the sleeping Qiao En *(POV): Qiao En.. I am sorry I didn't know that you sacrificed so much for me.. I am really sorry.
He stayed at the hospital throughout the whole night keeping her accompany.
The next morning, Qiao En woke up and saw Ming Dao lying beside her.
Qiao En (POV): Ming Dao.. It is time I should let you go. There's no point keeping you by my side when you still love someone else.
Not long later, Ming Dao woke up.
Ming Dao *holding to her hand *: How are you feeling now? Still not feeling well? Your hand is very cold.
Qiao En *plainly smile back *: I am fine. I want to be discharged.
Ming Dao: but you still don't look good.
Qiao En (POV): I guess this is the first time you really noticed how I look.
Ming Dao: Ok. Since you insist, I will talk to Dr. Tan.
Qiao En: Thanks.
Dr. Tan: Qiao En, you must rest well when you are back.
Qiao En: I will.
Ming Dao: I will take care of her.
Dr. Tan: Glad to hear that.
Ming Dao *hold on her waist *: Let's go home bah.
Qiao En nodded her head.
When reached home, everyone at home is very concern about Qiao En. They have been asking how she feels now. Ming Dao has stayed at home for these 2 day to keep her accompany.
This day at night,
Qiao En: Ming Dao, I am fine now. You don't have to stay at home.
Ming Dao: but..
Qiao En: Work is more important. You are the GM you have lots of documents to go through.
Ming Dao: Are you sure you are fine?
Qiao En: yes.
Ming Dao: okay! But promise me that you won't do household chores anymore?
Qiao En: ok..
This is the first time Ming Dao really showered concern for her after months of marriage but he would never know that something is going to happen soon. Next day, early morning Qiao En went out after Ming Dao left for work. She went to look for a friend and collect some document. Today, Ming Dao is back very early. He even bought pink roses for her.. This is the first time after marriage.
Ming Dao *handing her the roses *: For you.
Qiao En *smiles *: Thanks.
Ming Dao: How are you feeling now?
Qiao En: I am fine already. Don't have to come back early.
Ming Dao: I am your husband my job is to take care of you.
Later in the night on the bed..
Ming Dao *kissed her forehead *: Good night. *he moved closer and hugged Qiao En*
Qiao En *in his arms* (POV): Does he know the one he is hugging is Chen Qiao En and not Zhao Hong Qiao?
Qiao En didn't sleep and she dropped tears. When it is close to dawn, she got up from his arms. She got his suit and everything else ready for him on the bed and left the room.
