Xiao Qiao complained to Ming Dao and before he can say anything, Xiao Jie already pulled Qiao En far away from them.
Xiao Jie *walking away from them*: Now you really know le huh?
Qiao En (POV) *disappointed*: Why is he this kind of person? He seems like a prince. My prince.. But sad to know that he is engaged..
When she learnt that he is already engaged, she felt as if a hammer had hit her hard enough.
Qiao En: Who is she?
Xiao Jie: She is Zhao Hong Qiao; my gor always calls her Xiao Qiao. Her father owns a bank locally! He's a millionaire. My dad and he are long-time good friends and so they decided to get both of them engaged. Well, I guess they never really think about the future, what my dad thinks is that he will do whatever that benefits his business. He’s always not at home. My gor leh.. When he's out, I am in school. When he's back all of us are sleeping. To be honest, sometimes I don't even see him for the whole month.
Qiao En: That bad ah?

Qiao En and Jacky controlled themselves from laughing.

Mrs. Lin *walked towards Qiao En and hold her hand while walking to the buffet table*: Qiao En, have some food bah.
Xiao Jie *whisper to jacky*: hey! I think my mother likes Qiao En a lot sia! Hold her hand never hold mine!
Jacky: haha.. Never mind lah! I hold your hand lor..
Xiao Jie *shrugged off her hand*: who wants you to hold lah! *Walks towards Qiao En and Mrs. Lin*
Xiao Jie*jealous*: Oh Ma, you got Qiao En don't want me le hor!!!
Qiao En *blushed*: Xiao Jie, no lah...
Mrs. Lin: Aiyoh! My dear girl! Why get jealous?
Xiao Jie: Ma.. has that person greeted you yet?
Mrs. Lin *sigh*: I think she totally forgotten that I am her future mother-in-law. She saw me but ignored.
Xiao Jie *sigh*: I think stay as far away from her as possible!

This night, Qiao En got to know her prince charming but sad to know that he is already engaged to someone who's so beautiful. She never expects that Xiao Jie and her mother don't like her so much. Still she did not regret making the delivery to his place. She is contented as long she gets to see him even without talking to him.
