Servant: Miss, there is a lady named Xiao Qiao looking for you.
Qiao En (POV): What is she here for?
Qiao En: Invite her in.
Servant: Ms. Zhao, this way please.
Xiao Qiao *politely *: Thank you.
Qiao En: Ms. Zhao, welcome in.
Xiao Qiao: Qiao En, can we have private talk?
Qiao En: Sure. *Pour some drink for Xiao Qiao and sat opposite her *: have some drink.
Xiao Qiao: I am here representing myself and Ming Dao to thank you for donating blood to him. Ming Dao was rather touched when he learnt about it so he has given instructions to thank you.
Qiao En: he knows about it?
Xiao Qiao *firmly*I told him about it. We can't hide the fact from him so I decided to tell him. Ming Dao and I have discussed and feel that we should repay you.
Qiao En *from the bottom of her heart *: There is no need to do as I donated the blood willingly. I am happy to do anything for him.
Xiao Qiao *shocked and took out the diamond necklace *: Thanks for your kindness but Ming Dao doesn't like to owe people anything especially those who are not related to him at all.
Qiao En *pain in her heart *(POV): Not related?
Xiao Qiao: Ming Dao feels that you have no reason to donate blood to him. Since both of you are not related so he asked me to pass you this diamond necklace, hoping that it does help in compensating.
Qiao En: Compensate?
Xiao Qiao: Well, isn't there a very high price to pay for selling blood?
Qiao En *hands shivering *: Sell blood?
Xiao Qiao *wicked smile *: I am just quoting an example!
Qiao En *calmed down *: Please take back this necklace. I don’t need it.
Xiao Qiao: You don't want? I really think you are stupid not to take it!
Qiao En *sadly *: I have always been stupid.

After Xiao Qiao left, Qiao En sat on the sofa. She cried.. "Not related to him" had really hurt her a lot; the diamond necklace smashed her dreams. She could not do anything but cry her hearts out.
