Qiao En *whisper*: Eh Shao Wei.. All of them look very solemn leh..
Shao Wei: Yah! Because our GM is a very stern person
Qiao En *elbowed him*: Why didn’t you tell me earlier?
Shao Wei: Eh! You never ask k? How can you blame me?
Very soon, a black Mercedes with wording “Senwell” printed on the top right hand corner arrived. A young gentleman wearing a sunglass stepped out of the car adjusting his suit and started walking towards the people.
The ladies from behind all gave a woah when they saw him. He stood in front of Shao Wei and removed his sunglass.
Shao Wei: Welcome back! General Manager.
GM: Thanks *looking at Qiao En*
Qiao En *shocked* (POV): He is the GM of Senwell??
GM *turned to Shao Wei*: Shao Wei, I want to have meeting tomorrow morning at 9am.
Shao Wei: Ok. GM.
GM (POV): She must be the new staff.
GM: I shall go back to my office then. *looking at Qiao En again* Shao Wei, heard we have got a new staff, do you mind bringing him or her to my office later?
Shao Wei: Sure.
He walked towards the lift, enters and went to his office at 16th floor. With that, the rest of the heads also went back to their office. The ladies couldn’t take their eyes off their GM.
Shao Wei noted Qiao En’s face changed.
Shao Wei *tapping her shoulder*: Qiao En, are you alright?
Qiao En *back to senses*: Er.. ya..
Shao Wei: GM wants to see you later.
Qiao En: Har? For what?
Shao Wei: I am not too sure about this.
Qiao En *still wondering*: Shao Wei is he really our GM?
Shao Wei *burst out laughing*: Why? Can’t believe such a young, handsome, promising young man is your GM?
Qiao En: Whey!
Shao Wei: You are not seeing things, he is really our GM.
Qiao En (POV): My goodness!
Qiao En: Orh.. *worried* Hey! Will you be going with me to his office?
Shao Wei: Eh.. I think I better do so. because he asked me to bring you there.
Qiao En: Thanks.
About 45 minutes later, Shao Wei and Qiao En went up to 16th floor. When they arrived, they saw his secretary busy doing her things and saw the name tag outside his door.. “ Lin Ming Dao, General Manager”. The moment Qiao En saw this tag, her face turned pale..
Shao Wei knocks on the door.
Ming Dao: Come in.
Shao Wei: GM, this is our new staff.
Ming Dao *looking at Qiao En*: oh?
Shao Wei: Let me introduce, GM this is Chen Qiao En, she entered Senwell 2 years ago and just gotten a promotion be my assistant.
Ming Dao (POV): Chen Qiao En…
Ming Dao: Ic.. *Stood up, walked towards her and extend a handshake* hope you would enjoy working here. *Kept holding on to her hand*
Qiao En *weak smile*: Sure.. *Noted he is still holding to her hand she pulled back*
Qiao En: If there are no other instructions from GM, I shall take my leave.
Ming Dao smiled and nodded his head.
Ming Dao *turned to Shao Wei*: Shao Wei don’t go yet.
Shao Wei: Ok. *turned to Qiao En and smiled* you go back first bah.
Qiao En *smiles*: Ok.
Ming Dao (POV): Shao Wei and her?
After Qiao En left, Shao Wei sat down on the sofa while Ming Dao was at his seat.
Shao Wei: So how’s life at America?
Ming Dao: not too bad though!
Shao Wei *jokingly*: So brought any Caucasian back?
Ming Dao *firmly*: nope.
Shao Wei: Wah! Really changed le huh! I am still wondering what the real reason behind it is.
Ming Dao: That… er.. Chen Qiao En where did she graduate from?
Shao Wei: Oh! I guessed that is really a coincidence. She graduated from the same university as you. Same year I guess.
Ming Dao: You know her very well?
Shao Wei: Erm.. can say so bah. I have been working closely with her.
Ming Dao: Oh?
Shao Wei *laughs*: Interested in her?
Ming Dao: Wang Shao Wei!
Shao Wei: Just kidding lah! Btw, Pa and Ma will be at home today. They are looking forward to your return.
Ming Dao: Orh.
Shao Wei: Why don’t you go back early? They have wanted to see you!
Ming Dao: You coming along?
Shao Wei: Nah! Meeting Qiao En for dinner! Sorry wor! Have dinner with you guys another day.
Ming Dao (POV): Dinner with her?
Ming Dao: So both of you are real close huh?
Shao Wei: Well, is just a dinner. *sweet smiles*
Ming Dao: Well, I am going off soon. Remember about tomorrow’s meeting.
Shao Wei: Yah! I have passed down a memorandum on that.
Ming Dao: Thanks.
Shao Wei: If there’s nothing else, I go off liao.
Ming Dao: kies!
After Shao Wei left, he leaned back on his armrest chair.
Ming Dao (POV): 3 years flies…Never knew she would enter Senwell… How has she been for the past 3 years?
