Qiao En *got up from his arms, reaching for her nightdress*: Lin Ming Dao.. Get up le lah!
Ming Dao *turned and pulled her back *: A while more lah.. slept very late last night leh…
Qiao En *force her way to sit up *: GM! You think you are still in honeymoon ah? Wake up!!!
Ming Dao: aiyo..
Qiao En *finally got away from his grip *: You better wake up when I am out from the bathroom.
He saw her walking towards the bathroom, just when she’s about to close the door. He ran towards her and locked the bathroom behind him
Qiao En: What are you doing here?
Ming Dao: Shower lor!
Qiao En: Did I give you permission to come in?
Ming Dao: Aiyah! I have seen and explore every single part of you already what! No need to be shy lah..
Qiao En *blushing hard *: You… you stay away from me..
Ming Dao: Shower together cuts short the time. Mrs. Lin if you argue somemore we will really be late for work!
Qiao En *gave up *: Promise you won’t do anything funny!! *stern face *No love bites!! If you bite me, I shall stay at my mother’s place.
Ming Dao *laughs *: That serious ah? *pointing to her neck* what if..they belonged to last night’s?
Qiao En *quickly looked into the mirror *: YOU...
Ming Dao *happily removing the towel *: Last night you didn’t say anything what...
Qiao En stared at him wanting to strangle him up. After showering both of them went down for breakfast hand in hand.
Ming Dao & Qiao En: Pa Ma.. morning.
Mr. & Mrs. Lin: Morning!
Mr. Lin: so rest well enough?
Ming Dao *smiling happily *: of course..
Mrs. Lin: Qiao En you looked tired, didn’t rest well last night?
Qiao En *smile unwillingly *: I slept “very” well last night.
Qiao En (POV): I didn’t even had a good rest lor! Lin Ming Dao! All thanks to you!
After having breakfast Ming Dao and Qiao En left for work. When they reached, the staff greeted them as they walk along the corridor hand in hand and then into the lift.
Qiao En: Wah.. so long never come back le..
Ming Dao: You can’t wait to be back huh?
Qiao En: I guess my work is piling!
Ming Dao: Ha.. I don’t think so la.. 1 month only!
Qiao En: 1 months’ work is more than enough to kill me.
The lift reaching 15th floor.
Qiao En *let go of his hand *: Bye..
Ming Dao *held on to it *
Qiao En: Eh..
When the door opened, Ming Dao walked out with Qiao En. As they were walking along the corridor the people in the office were so envious of both of them.
Guy 1: Look! GM and ACD..
Lady 1: so loving sia!
Guy 2: Sent her to office personally leh..
Lady 2: Wah.. how I wish I am ACD..
After Qiao En reached her office, Ming Dao gave her a peck on her cheek and makes his way to his own office. Xiao Jie knows that Qiao En is back so she went to her office to look for her before the signing of contract starts.
“knock knock”
Qiao En *reading document *: Come in.
Xiao Jie *opens the door *: Mrs. Lin!!
Qiao En *looked up *: Oh is you ah? Please I beg you don’t call me Mrs. Lin.. make me sound so old..
Xiao Jie *laughs *: Well you are married already what so calling you Mrs. Lin.. is fine what! Where’s my present?
Qiao En: In the car.. we will be going home for dinner tonight. You drove?
Xiao Jie: haha..ya
Xiao Jie: You going for the meeting later?
Qiao En: Nope. I am not involved. Ming Dao will be there.
Xiao Jie: Orh.. *looked at her watch * well I got to go. Bye lor.. see you tonight!
Qiao En: bye.
Qiao En’s day started with lots of documents to read and sign. Ming Dao, Shao Wei and Xiao Jie went to the conference for the signing of contract and met Jacky. After signing the contract, Xie Zhi left and Xiao Jie too because she doesn’t want to see Jacky.
Jacky: Ming Dao.. how’s your honeymoon?
Ming Dao: Went Paris.
Jacky: Wah.. so romantic huh?
Ming Dao: What to do?
Shao Wei: Sorry guys, I have an appointment. I make a move first.
Ming Dao: Kies. Jacky, let’s go to my office bah.
Soon after that Jacky left with Ming Dao. While they were chatting halfway, Xiao Jie came in.
“knock knock”
Ming Dao: Come in.
Xiao Jie avoided Jacky’s eye contact. : GM, this is the set of contract. If there’s nothing else I shall make a move.
Ming Dao *noticed something’s wrong with Xiao Jie and Jacky *: okies.
After Xiao Jie left..
Ming Dao: Jacky..
Jacky *back from daze *: huh?
Ming Dao: What happened to you? Interested in Xiao Jie huh?
Jacky *sigh *:Ming Dao.. is Xiao Jie attached?
Ming Dao: Never hear Qiao En mention before so I assume she doesn’t. Jacky, you know her?
Jacky *surprised *: How you know?
Ming Dao: Your eye contact betrays you.
Jacky: Knew her in England. We were together before but my mother broke us up.
Ming Dao: Why?
Jacky: She insisted that Xiao Jie is not good enough for me and forced her to leave. Then she force me to be with that fiancée she chosen.
Ming Dao: No wonder.. Now?
Jacky: I quarreled very badly with my mother over it and finally she realized my love for Xiao Jie is too deep. My dad also helped me in persuading her. The engagement was called off.
Ming Dao: So….
Jacky *plucked up his courage *: I intend to go after her again..
Ming Dao: Jacky, Xiao Jie’s temper and Qiao En’s are very similar; it took me quite sometime to win her heart back. Looks like you got to put in twice or thrice the effort.
Jacky: I know.. She changed her number, don’t even look at me during the meeting.. she doesn’t even give me a chance to talk to her at all.. *Frustrated *
Ming Dao: Looks like she’s indeed a tougher one than Qiao En… well… use your sincerity. On the other hand.. I will see what Qiao En and I can do to help you..
Jacky: Thanks bro..
Ming Dao: Well I have lost Qiao En once so I know what’s the feeling. I hope both of you will have a good ending too.
