So anyways, this morning was no exception… Why would it be? The day didn’t feel any different… I’d say it’s a fine morning except it’s not really… Well, I mean, it’s sunny and all, but it’s not really my type of weather you know? I prefer the rain, just because I like the singer, Bi… Hahaha… What? It’s true!
Oh forgive me, where are my manners? I might have thrown them down the drain while I was thinking… You can’t have too many thoughts up there… Says who? Hmm, I’m not sure, but someone did tell me once… Oh, there I go again… rambling on and on about things that don’t matter… I do that a lot… and I get in trouble most of the time… Don’t laugh!
Ok, I’ll start the introduction now. I’m Kim Lily. Strange name don’t you think? Well, not strange as in… strange. Just strange because it’s not a traditional Korean name, you know what I mean? But my older sister’s name is Kim Yuri. I guess that’s ok… I think. Mom told me I was born in the States and we spent about a few years there before we came back to Korea. I vaguely remembered the times I spent there. She said I was named after one of her best friends who died in a car crash. Yeah… was I supposed to feel special? It’s not that great to be named after a person who died… Do you like it if you were named after John F. Kennedy or Isaac Newton? Hmm… well, I guess they’re not so bad… So anyways, I’m 17 years old and I’m currently in my last year of high school. Awesome isn’t it? I’m the youngest in class… well, me and my best friend, Park JiEun. I’ll explain that to you later.
A big part of my life is of course, the school. Let’s see, I spend about 8 hours a day at school… times that by 5 so 40 hours of my week is spent in school… sometimes maybe more… Yes, pathetic isn't it? When some of them only spent a maximum amount of 10 hours a week. And they still pass with flying colors. How you ask? Well, you know those paper-looking thingy called money? Yeah, something I’m in dire need of… Bribery, that’s how they pass. Weird isn't it? Considering this school was supposed to be the most prestigious school in Seoul.
School spirit you say? Nada, nil, no way in hell. Everyone was pretty much for themselves… well, not really. This school is literally divided into four groups… you know, like how the country is divided into different classes. It’s the same for this school. Let me list them one by one for you.
First up you have the Jocks and the Cheerleaders – They’re ok. They keep to themselves. They’re not really as stuck up as some of the others which make them ok. They’re not as bad as how they’re portrayed in the movies either…. Really, trust me. Movies are a bunch of exaggerations anyway… except animations, yes… especially Finding Nemo… with the talking fish and all…
Second, you have the Float and the Average – Yes, they literally float from group to group… But they don’t really fit in anywhere, except with their own kind… Geez, I make them sound like their aliens or something… well, you know what I mean… They’re average in class too… Thus, the name… Hmm, how uncreative… Apparently, they’re that too…
Third is the Dorks and Nerds – Sadly, this is where me and my best friend belong, along with most of the school’s population… We occupy about ¾ of the school, but we’re like ants as compared to those giant animals. And I’ll have you know, we did not come up with that name ourselves. Who the hell would call themselves dorks and nerds anyway? The name was given, by the last group I’m about to explain… The biggest dorks are me and JiEun apparently… Why? Because we skipped a grade! That’s why! And because we actually do look like dorks… Well, to be honest, JiEun doesn’t look that bad. She’s pretty! Really! If she takes off her glasses, and comb her hair a little. Her big brown eyes are just hidden behind a bush of bangs and those thick glasses she wore. But I like her like that, I think. And me? Well, nothing special about me… Plain straight hair and just plain features. Gosh, how plain can I be? The only thing I don’t have is bangs… I can’t stand them! Always getting in your eyes, how annoying! My mom’s always telling me I’m beautiful, but pshh, that’s my mom I’m talking about… Who would call their daughters ugly anyway? Psshhh…
So anyways, last and certainly the least, yes you heard me! The least! Is the Rich and the Beautiful – I think that name pretty much explains what they are. They looked like they just stepped out from a photo shoot or something. If you ask me, I’d probably say they just did. How they get into the school you ask? Well, their parents of course! They own it! There are not much people in this group but they have the most power. They come and go whenever they want and yet they still pass all their classes. Amazing what money can do. I wish I have that much money… Lucky they have money, or else they’d have nothing! Seriously! Their brains are like the size of peas, maybe even smaller… They don’t seem to care so why should I? Among this group, there are 5 guys that stood out. They call themselves Big Bang. See what I’m talking about? A bunch of pea brains. Big Bang! What the hell? There was nothing Big nor Bang about them, seriously! One of them fell asleep in astronomy class and was dreaming about space or something when the teacher suddenly said big bang. He actually screamed it out loud in his sleep. You know, like how that person shouted Eureka. Who was it that said that? Was it Einstein? No, no! It was Archimedes! Yeah, that’s right. And what do you know, the next day, they announced themselves over the school speaker that they’re Big Bang. Really… How superficial…
Let me introduce them one by one. I won’t ramble, trust me, I’d rather talk to the wall than talk about them… So here goes, there is one really tall guy called Choi Seung Hyun, although he much preferred to be called TOP because he’s always on TOP of girls, not on TOP in class. And then there’s Kwon Ji Yong, also known as G-Dragon. Dragon? He looks like a momma’s boy! Really! With that baby face and that high voice! Dragon… really! Psshh… And then there’s Lee Seung Hyun. He likes to call himself SeungRi, which you know, means victory. I don’t exactly know what he won but I’m pretty sure it’s something stupid that’s definitely not worth talking about. There’s Kang DaeSung. He’s the only one without a nickname. It figures. He smiles a lot, and then laugh, and then smile some more. So when would he find the time to think of a nickname for himself? And the last of them is Dong YoungBae. But he’s known as TaeYang in school. He’s the most popular one among them. Why? Because apparently, he has a killer body and an awesome smile. To me, he just resembles a rabbit. Really, no joke there. And TaeYang? Sun? Does he think he’s some kind of God or something? Shining his sunlight on those below him? Oh please… See what I mean when I prefer rain? And I mean rain the weather, not rain the singer…
So anyways, that’s pretty much my life here at school and the people around me. I really wish they don’t exist, but what can you do? Can’t be selfish… learn to share Lily! Oh, who am I kidding? Damn, I’m talking to myself again! Not good! Goodbye silly thoughts! I see JiEun waiting for me! Now get out of my mind!

Hahaha... like i told you, mainly stream of conciousness.... XD How do you like it? Actually, this was supposed to be the foreweords but as you can see, it's very very very long... haha... so i put it as chapter 1 instead... =D Enjoy! Tell me what you think!!!
