What is wrong with me? Is it wrong that I still find him attractive? That he was still as hot as ever even though he’s someone else’s husband? These sinful thoughts will kill me one of these days… But seriously though, my mind is currently flooded with images of him… The way he smiled at me, the way his eyes twinkled, his laugh… All so captivating…
I pulled my hood up as I started to aimlessly walk back home. It was going to get dark soon and because I don’t have a car, I was going to walk to GD’s house… Let’s hope I won’t get lost in the process of finding his place…
I tugged my hair in frustration an hour later as I looked in my closet once again. I’ve been standing in front of it for half an hour already! When am I going to find something to wear? I know JiEun said I could come in jeans but pshhh… Why would I want to look like a hobo beside her? She was probably wearing something expensive that GD bought…
“Yes!” I exclaimed triumphantly when I finally found the perfect outfit. It was a black dress with a plunging neckline. It’s not too formal… It was just perfect. I’ve never worn it before though… I only bought it because it was on sale… And sale in Sweden is the bomb I tell you!
I slipped it on and looked at my reflection. Hmm, I was showing more skin than usual and man, since when do I have boobs? Oh right, I’m a woman now… I should change, shouldn’t I? The more I stare at myself, the more I think I look like a whore… Why do black dresses have to be so sexy?
I checked the clock on my wall as I fixed my hair. There was no time to change. I wouldn’t make it on time and I didn’t want to be late. Plus, I still have to find his house… I wrapped a red scarf around my neck before putting on my long cream coat and a pair of boots. Locking the door behind me, I started my quest at finding his place… Somehow, that sounded like something that came out from ‘Lord of the Rings’… Don’t ask me why I thought that…
Where was it again? I knew it was in the same district as TaeYang’s house… Aish, how hard is it to find a house? I’m supposed to find his house first before finding TaeYang’s… That’s what TaeYang oppa used to tell me… It’s obviously here somewhere…. Oh wait! Found it!
I passed the guard and took a deep breath before knocking on his big front door. My palm was sweating… I was so nervous all of a sudden! I smoothed my dress one last time before finally knocking. I didn’t wait long. The door opened and surprise surprise! I came face to face with none other than TaeYang…
“Uhh hi.” I said with a timid smile. He was staring at me with an intense gaze that I just couldn’t help but feel slightly self conscious. I don’t have anything on my face do I? Besides make-up that is…
Damn… He’s checking me out! Ok, he’s done that before, but right now, it was just plain awkward… Not that I don’t like him staring at me or anything…
“Man, who’s at the door?” GD suddenly said as he appeared beside TaeYang. He grinned as he pulled me inside.
“Welcome! I’m glad you made it! Make yourself comfortable ok? JiEun’s in the kitchen and the rest are in the living room.” GD said before walking away.
Oh no! He just left us alone… What a nice way to greet guests! Stop it heart! Why are you so stubborn today? Stop beating faster! You’re making me nervous!
All of a sudden, I felt his hands on my shoulders. I jumped before turning to look at him. He had a smile on his face as he looked at my alarmed expression.
“Let me take your coat.” He said pleasantly. I was very much aware of his grip on my shoulders.
“Uhh… sure.” I said before slipping it off. I could feel his gaze on me again as he looked at my black-dressed clad body. Damn it! I knew this dress was revealing… Stupid me for wearing it!
“You look beautiful.” He commented with another smile.
I blushed before looking away. He never ceased to amaze me with his little comments…
“I uhh… I’m going to go find JiEun.” I said before heading towards the kitchen… or so I thought…
“Lily?”
“Hmm?”
“That’s the storeroom. The kitchen’s on your right side.” TaeYang pointed out, his voice full of humor.
I flushed bright red before nodding my head. How am I supposed to know? I’ve never been to his house before!
“Right.” I said as I scurried towards it, wanting to escape the embarrassing situation as quickly as possible.
I heaved a sigh of relief when I finally spotted JiEun. Man, remind me not to get a big house once I’m rich, I might get lost…
“Lily! I’m so glad you came!” She exclaimed, a bright smile on her face.
“Yeah, I’m here. What are you doing?” I asked as I looked around the kitchen.
“Just cutting this cake GD oppa bought. Did you see the others yet?” She asked as she wriggled her eyebrows knowingly.
I laughed. “If by others you mean TaeYang oppa, yes I have.”
“And?”
“And nothing.” I said with a shrug when the doorbell suddenly rang. I wonder who it was… I thought everybody’s here… “Yah! He’s a married man, I’m not going to make a move on him or anything…” I added as I shook my head.
“But…”
“No fret! I’m here!” Someone suddenly exclaimed from behind me.
I turned to look and gasped in surprise. “Yuri? What are you doing here?”
“I’ve been invited.” She said happily as she placed a box on the table. No doubt it was another cake…
“Who brought you here though?” I asked as I furrowed my brow in confusion.
“I did.” Another voice said.
Yes, that was TOP speaking. My eyeballs were literally out of their sockets when I watched him wrap his arms around her waist, a smile on his face. Wait a minute, this doesn’t look quite right…
“Whoa!” I said as I took a step back. “Am I missing something?”
Yuri smiled sheepishly at me. “Surprise…” She said, her voice barely audible.
“Surprise? More like shock! You… and TOP oppa?” I exclaimed.
“Uhh… yeah.”
“But… how… why… when…” I asked incoherently. I was starting to hyperventilate… Tell me this is not happening!
“Calm down Lily, let her explain.” JiEun said as she placed a comforting hand on my shoulder.
“She better.” I said through clenched teeth. I wasn’t angry… I was furious! I don’t exactly know why but I felt like she stole him from me. He liked me first! But you don’t like him, that stupid, snide little voice said in my head. Oh shut up! I never asked you!
“Please don’t be mad.” Yuri pleaded. “I swear I don’t know how it happened. We just clicked, that’s all…”
I scoffed. “Just clicked, yeah right…”
“No! Really! I told you Mr. Choi gave me the shop right? And SeungHyun comes once in a while to check on it and then everything just happened…”
“But… but…”
“Hey.” JiEun suddenly spoke up. “I don’t exactly know why you’re making such a big deal out of this. They really do love each other…”
“What?”
TOP smiled at me. “That’s true. We’ve been dating for a year now.”
“A… year?”
“Lily…” TOP started as he grabbed hold of my hand. “I found it. I found my true love. I know it’s strange to you that I’m dating your sister after what we’ve been through, but I do love her... And I’ve come to accept the fact that you’re just a friend…”
Hmm, that didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would. I’m glad that he now considered me as a friend, but does he really have to date my sister?
“But oppa! She’s a noona!” I cried.
“Hey! I’m insulted! I look much younger than you!” Yuri exclaimed as she placed her hand over her heart.
TOP laughed before looking at me once again. “I’m happy…”
Aww, bless him. I couldn’t help but smile at his words. JiEun’s right. I shouldn’t make a big deal out of it. After all, we don’t have anything except friendly love… Though I do wish they didn’t spill it on me like this… Why can’t they do it over a cup of tea or something? “Then I’m happy for you.”
“Great! Does that mean I got your permission?” Yuri asked.
I rolled my eyes before nodding my head. “Yes. Go get married for all I care.” I said jokingly.
Yuri beamed before dragging TOP towards the living room. “I love you!” She yelled happily.
I placed my head on the counter as JiEun laughed. “Oh cheer up! They look good together.”
“I know.” I said dully. “But if they do get married, everything’s gonna be so awkward!”
“What do you mean?”
I looked up at her, my expression a mixture of disgust and dismay. “Yah! I’ve kissed my brother-in-law!”
She laughed before slapping my arm. “Silly! That’s what you were thinking? Aish… Help me carry this other cake.” She said as she shook her head before walking away.
Dinner was pleasant. Everyone was so happy… Me included. I’ve never felt this happy in such a long time… GD oppa said he cooked everything but we all know who’s the pro behind it all, he can’t fool me… I’ve tasted JiEun’s cooking for years!
Speaking of JiEun, she was smiling cheekily at me. I wonder what she has in mind… I rolled my eyes at her not so subtle actions. It was no coincidence that she placed me right in front of TaeYang… In fact, I think she planned it with GD oppa… I’m so going to get them later… And eww! Damn Yuri! Keep your hands to yourself! So what? I gave you my blessing and you went all gooey and lovey dovey with him in front of me? Aish, he has hands! TOP can feed himself! Stupid sister!
I heard a soft laugh. I turned to find the source and stared straight at TaeYang. So he was the one who laughed. Does he find them amusing? No wait, he’s looking at me… He found my disgust funny? Was it that apparent on my face? Is that why he was laughing? I narrowed my eyes at him before looking back down at my plate… I’m starting to think everyone’s stupid today… Yeah, me too…
“So Lily, how do you like Sweden?” DaeSung suddenly asked, a bright smile on his face.
“It’s beautiful.” I replied honestly.
“What is? The country or the people?” SeungRi asked with a smirk. “And by people I mean guys.”
I grinned at him. “Both. But the guys were exceptionally hot though.”
From the corner of my eyes, I saw TaeYang staring at me. And what was that on his face? Jealousy? He’s jealous? Why would he be? He already has a wife! But wait, she’s not here… Strange…
SeungRi laughed. “Did you snatch one?”
“I did.” I said with a laugh. “But we broke up when I came back here. Long distance relationship just doesn’t work for me.” I lied. So they don’t really have to know the truth, it was no big deal anyway…
“Aww, that sucks.” DaeSung said sympathetically.
He bought it! I can’t believe he actually bought it! Man, I’m good!
If I had looked around at that very moment, I would’ve seen someone else who bought it… but I didn’t. Instead, I wiped my lips before standing up.
“I think I’m going to go get some fresh air. I’ll be right back.” I said before excusing myself.
“Wait!” JiEun yelled. “Don’t go yet! GD oppa and I have an announcement to make.”
“We’re getting married next month!” GD stated as he smiled.
I was the first one to break the silence that suddenly ensued. I squealed before wrapping my arms tightly around JiEun.
“Congratulations!” I exclaimed brightly. “Oh my gosh! I’m your maid of honor right?”
“Of course!” JiEun said as she beamed at me. “I’m so happy!”
“You should be.” I said before I went to congratulate GD.
Once that’s done, I stepped onto the balcony and heaved a sigh. I don’t know why I was sighing, I was happy… I think. Well, I’m happy because I’m back and everyone looks good and healthy… But a part of me can’t help but feel sad every time I looked at TaeYang oppa… The reason for that? Well, we all know of course…
Out of nowhere, a bouquet of white lilies appeared right before my eyes and I let out a surprised gasp.
“For you.” He said softly.
Before I could turn around, TaeYang stood in front of me, a sweet timid smile on his face.
“What are you doing out here? It’s cold.” I said as I took the bouquet from his hands.
He laughed. “Look who’s talking. I’m ok, are you?”
Why did he ask? Was it because of the way I dressed? To be honest, I’m perfectly fine, I’m not feeling the cold all that much yet. I didn’t have time to reply before he wrapped his arms around my waist from the back and rested his head on my shoulder.
I shifted uncomfortably. “Oppa, what are you doing?”
“I’m keeping you warm.” He whispered.
“Oppa… We can’t do this.”
“And why not?”
“The others might see us. I don’t want them to report to HaeWon. You’ll get in trouble.” I said worriedly.
He laughed. “That’s what you’re worried about? You know they won’t care even if they do see us.”
“But oppa…”
“Shh…” He said shushing me up. “Can we stay in silence for a while? I just want to feel you in my arms. I’ve missed you too much.”
I kept quiet as I relished the feeling of his strong arms around me. Damn... I’ve missed him too… much more than I thought possible…
“Lily…”
“Hmm?”
“Baby…”
I gave a start at the mention of that word… He used to call me that, when we were dating 5 years ago… Amazing how my heart still beats faster than normal after 5 years…
“Yes oppa?” I said, a small smile on my face.
“Did you really?” He asked as he looked expectantly at me.
“Did I really what?” I asked, confused.
“Did you really hook up with a Swedish guy?”
I clasped my mouth with my hand as I tried to stifle my laughter. “That’s what you wanted to ask me?”
“Yeah.” He said worriedly. “So did you really?”
“What if I did?” I asked as I raised my eyebrow. I was going to test him just a little longer…
Anger flashed in his eyes before something else took over. A green evil monster called jealousy… Not Hulk, but jealousy… Man, I have too many references to animation…
“How was he?” He asked in a controlled voice.
I grinned. “Oh, he’s awesome! His name’s Eric. He’s really tall! About six feet or so with blond hair and blue eyes. He was so hot!”
I watched as he clenched his fists and gritted his teeth in frustration. He gave me one last look before turning around. I grabbed his arm just in time…
“Oppa…”
“What?” He snapped without looking at me. Damn, he’s so adorable when he’s jealous…
“I can’t believe you’ve forgotten already.” I softly said as I tugged on his long sleeve.
“Forgot what?”
I smiled. “I told you no one can replace you…”
“What?” He said as he finally locked eyes with me. “You mean, that was all a joke?”
“Yeah.” I said with a grin. “I’m great aren’t I?”
“Aish…” He muttered under his breath as he shook his head.
“Of course, that only means I’m going to grow old alone with 47 cats.” I said with a shrug.
“You have me…” He said as he held onto my arm.
I smiled sadly. “No, I don’t. I told you I lost you already. You’re a married man now. Your main priority is no longer me, but HaeWon. And JiEun’s getting married soon… And no doubt Yuri will too…”
“What makes you so sure that I’m married?” He asked with a smirk.
I tilted my head to the side, confused at what he said. “What do you mean?”
“Wanna go take a ride with me?” He asked suddenly.
He walked away without waiting for my reply. I stood there, speechless for quite a few seconds before I ran after him.
“Hey! Where are you going?” JiEun asked when I flew past her.
“Uhh… out.” I said as I quickly grabbed my coat. “Tell GD oppa thanks for everything! And congratulations once again!”
He was standing by his car, whistling softly as he waited for me.
“Shall we?” He said as he opened the door for me.
I looked at him before climbing into the car. I have no idea where we were heading but I followed him all the same… Why? Because I wanted to know what he meant… Curiosity is gnawing my insides! I wish he’d just spill it already…
“Where are we going?” I asked once he drove off.
“Just out and about.” He replied with a smile.
He stayed silent throughout the whole journey to wherever it was he was taking me. I glanced at him every few seconds, wondering when he was finally going to tell me…
“We’re here.” He said as he stopped the car.
He grabbed my hand once I climbed out of the car and dragged me into the darkness that was seemingly waiting for us. I smiled once we arrived. He had taken me to his secret little hideout… That last spot we spent together…
“Did you know I come here every night for the past 5 years?” He asked, a soft smile on his lips.
He turned to look at me. “I whispered your name to the wind, just like I told you I would. Sometimes I cried when I thought of you, sometimes I laughed when I remembered all the times we spent together… Sometimes, I just wish you’d return to my side…”
I stayed silent. How was I supposed to answer to that when I feel exactly the same way?
“The first month after you left, I wasn’t myself. I shut myself from the world; I stayed in my room all day. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, I didn’t do anything… I couldn’t believe it at first, how the person you love can hurt you so bad…” He said as he continued to look at me.
“Oppa…” I said sadly. “I already felt guilty for leaving you. Don’t make me feel any worse…”
He smiled as he reached for my hand. “I’m just saying how I felt… I’m sorry if I’m making you feel worse…”
I sighed. To say I was confused was definitely an understatement. I really didn’t know what was going on…
“Oppa, will you tell what happened?” I asked. “What did you mean with what you said before?”
“I’m not married.” He stated softly before showing me his hand. Wait a minute, there’s no ring? Where’s the engagement ring?
“What?” I asked confused. “What happened?”
“I couldn’t marry HaeWon. I don’t love her.” He said. “And you were right, I was a coward. I didn’t speak up until we were at the altar.”
“You left her? At the altar?” I asked, shocked. Ouch! That must’ve hurt her pride. As much as I hate her, I couldn’t help but feel slightly sorry…
“I know. I’m terrible aren’t I?” He said with a scoff. “But she didn’t cry when I told everyone how I really felt. She said… She said she was proud of me, for finally coming out from my parents’ shadow.”
“So she knew all along that you don’t love her?”
“She was really hoping I’d learn to love her… but I just couldn’t…” He replied quietly.
“Where is she now?”
He sighed. “She left… She said she couldn’t stay in Korea anymore. She went to the States. I heard she got married already.”
“Oh.” I said with a nod of my head. I don’t know if I should feel happy or sad that she was finally out of our lives… but I do have a new found respect for her. I’m glad she was there for him when I wasn’t… I’ll be eternally grateful for what she did…
His situation is so similar to mine… I can’t believe we went through the same thing...
“What about your parents?” I asked suddenly. “What did they say?”
He smiled. “My father was furious. And yes, he did disown me.”
“What?” I exclaimed, my eyes wide.
“Mom understood how I felt. She didn’t really approve of it, but she knew you were the girl all along. When I moved out of the house, I stayed at GD’s place. I was lost. I didn’t know what to do until Yuri noona gave me a job at the coffee shop.”
“I’m sorry.” I said dejectedly. “I can’t believe I caused all that trouble in the span of five years… And mom’s hospital bills! You were paying for that too!”
“Hey… Didn’t I tell you not to worry about that?” He said with a smile. “Mom was secretly transferring money to my bank account every month. I used that money to pay the bills.”
“Oppa…” I breathed. What did I do to deserve him? He was much too kind… He was angel sent from above… Specially made for me…
“And then GD’s dad took me into his company.” He continued. “Something must’ve happened between him and my dad because a few weeks after that, dad offered me a job at his company.”
“Did you take it?” I asked hesitantly.
“Not at first.” He replied. “But dad apologized, saying he was sorry for what he did. Saying mom missed me… he wanted me to return to where I rightfully belong…”
“I returned a month after that.” He added softly. “Mom called and begged me to come home. I couldn’t refuse…”
“And now you’re back at the mansion?” I asked.
“Mmm…” He said as he nodded his head. “I also run the company.”
“What?”
He laughed. “Yeah. Shocking huh? I just started. Dad retired a few months ago…”
“I’m sorry.” I apologized once again. “I’m sorry for leaving you. I’m sorry you had to go through all that alone… Oppa, I’m sorry.”
“Hey…” He said softly as he caressed my cheek. “I was never alone. You were always here.” He said as he placed a hand over his heart. “I went through all this for you baby…”
“I promise I’ll never leave you again.” I whispered as a tear escaped my eye.
He smiled as he wiped it away. “That’s what I wanted to hear…” He replied before crashing his lips on mine.
What started as a sweet kiss was quickly becoming hot and steamy as a soft moan escaped my lips. I was digging my nails into his chest as he rubbed his hand up and down my back. It was supposed to be cold out here tonight, but I could feel nothing except the heat radiating from our skin… from his touch. After all these years, he still tasted the same… And his lips, they were still as soft as ever… I threw my head back as he feverishly kissed my neck, emitting another moan from my lips.
“Baby, you have no idea how much you’re turning me on with this dress…” He murmured against my skin.
I giggled. “Then this dress has done its job.”
He fixed his gaze on me, his eyes full of lust as he brushed his hand along the hem of the skirt. “You know you turn me on in anything. Although I’m pretty sure I prefer you in nothing.” He said with a smirk.
I raised my eyebrow as he smiled cheekily at me. I was about to reply when he captured my lips with his once again. I sighed contentedly as I relished the feeling of his lips against mine, the reply long forgotten… This is the life I tell you… Who knew after all those suffering, I’d finally get my happy ending? My Asian Nemo, my knight in shining armor… Dong YoungBae…

Ok, so it may seem like i finished with this story, especially with the way i ended this chapter, but i assure you i have a few more chaps left... hahaha... i hope this chapter keep you guys happy!!! Lol... finally everything's out!!! :D relieved that he didn't really marry Haewon? Hahahaha... i thought so :P i don't know what else to say... Haha... P.S: SPAZZING TIME!!!! The song is awesome!!!! I love it, but i think i like 'Where U At' more, lol... And the MV?!?!?! Was ok... hahaha... i know... You guys were probably expecting me to say awesome and scream at the top of my lungs... hahaha... There were a few flaws in there, yes, even i find flaws in the most perfect guy and his mv... Let me list them down for you, hahaha.... First, the girl, as pretty as she is, is much too tall for him... No offence to the more YB obsessed fans... haha... Second, the kiss scene... ok, i'm not gonna lie and say i didn't squeal, i did... i did wish he kissed me instead, but! i had a problem with the camera angle... One fan said that it was more of a touch on the lips, so it wasn't really kissing and i totally agree with that... And the camera angle was bad! No offence once again to the more obsessed YB fans, but he looked a bit inexperienced, i know he is in real life but still... hahaha... Hey! I love him! i'm not insulting, i swear! it's just the camera angle that made him look like that... This is just my opinion :D He should practice with me! hahahaha... And the third, the last one i promise, is the scene where he was about to give her the ring and then the other guy suddenly came and proposed first... Haha, next to that guy with a normal hair, YB oppa looked like a punk! Hahahahaha... NO seriously... He looked like a bad boy, not that i mind or anything, but next to that guy, it's sorta funny... lol, to me... :D Overall, the mv was ok... after i made myself believe that it was just touching of the lips, i'm fine... lol... but the song is awesome!!!! however, i don't think it's topping 'Look at only Me'... i really do love that song... So that's it, he looked hot in the mv though! Ooooh! The expression on his face when she waved at him with the dress on! That was ADORABLE!!!! Hahahahah... He's too hot to be ignored! The dances were awesome, i'm glad he didn't dance with any girl, but the sparkly thingy he wore with his black suit when he was dancing, i don't know if it's together is sort of too much, hahaha... this is starting to get longer than the chapter, lol... not really but you know what i mean, haha... i hope i didn't shift your focus from the chapter to this spazz! lol... as much as i know you guys want to share your comments about his mv and song, don't forget to comment on the chap as well!!!
