I passed by a group of boys and they whistled at me. What the hell? I shook my head as I made my way to my locker.
I was feeling self-conscious all of a sudden. I’m not used to being the center of attention unless if it’s over an academic achievement or something. I recalled the past month. Hmm… I didn’t exactly do anything great…
Maybe there was some sort of rumors going around. It figures. I’m usually completely clueless when it comes to the latest gossip in school but JiEun isn't. I’ll have to ask her when she comes.
Wait a minute, rumor? There’s a rumor about me? Oh God, please let me be wrong! I prefer to be invisible; I don’t want people to spread rumors about me! In this school, people devour rumors like my sister devours her chips; it’s as bad as that. Aish, where the hell is JiEun?
I shoved my head in my locker to avoid those stares the other students were giving me. They were creepy, much creepier than what happened yesterday.
Finally! She came! She was huffing and puffing when she tapped me on the shoulder.
“What’s this I hear?” She said as she tried to catch her breath.
“Ok, whatever you hear, and whatever these people hear, I have nothing to do with it!” I said quickly as I defended myself.
She raised her eyebrow at me. “So, what you’re saying is that you didn’t actually say it?”
“Yes. I didn’t say it.” I said as I nodded my head. What the hell didn’t I say?
“So you didn’t actually tell TaeYang that he can get in your pants?” She asked again.
“Yes!” I rapidly said. Then my eyes widened in shock when my brain finally processed what she said. “WHAT?”
Her jaw dropped open as she stared at me. “Oh my Gosh! You did say it!”
“Yah!” I said as I clamped her mouth shut with my hand. “Where the hell did you hear that from?”
“Hello! It’s all around this school!”
“Aish…” I said as I shook my head. See what I told you?
“Lily ah, what happened?” JiEun asked.
“What exactly did you hear?”
“Well, nothing much. Just that you met him somewhere and told him that.” She replied as she took her books out from her locker.
I sighed. Damn, I hate this. Why me? Seriously!
“You wanna tell me what happened?” She asked as she looked at me again.
She was so curious, I could tell. But I can’t tell her now, we were surrounded by people! Wow, that’s a first... I never thought I’d actually say that…
“Yeah, tell her. I’m sure she’s dying to know.” Someone said from behind me.
I watched as JiEun’s eyes widened in surprise. Oh God no! Not that voice again!
I turned around, annoyance etched on my face. Stupid stuck up jerk! He was staring at me with that stupid smirk of his! I really should stop saying stupid, it’s making me feel stupid for saying so many stupid… oh man, how stupid am I?
I narrowed my eyes at him. “What the hell are you doing here?”
“Ahh… did you hear about the rumor?” He asked as he raised his eyebrow. His posse laughed. Let’s see how great he is when he’s alone… I bet he’s a momma’s boy too, just like that GD dude… oh God, please let me try that karate kick on him!
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I said as I slammed my locker shut. It closed with a loud bang.
“Whoa! Attitude problem?” He teased.
I huffed. Seriously, who the hell does he think he is?
“Get. Out. Of. My. Face.” I said through clenched teeth. JiEun pulled my arm, but I was too angry to pay attention to her.
His smile widened. “So when do you want to do it then?” He asked with a smirk.
I growled. You know, like a dog… literally. I can’t believe he’s still talking about this…
“How did the school know what happened?” I asked furiously. I don’t think there was anyone from school at the store yesterday… it was just us. I was pretty sure…
I watched as he started to laugh. No! Wait a minute! It couldn’t be, could it?
“You started it! You spread the rumor!” I said in horror as I pointed my index finger at his face.
“Yah, don’t you know it’s rude to point?” JiEun whispered in my ear.
I turned to look at her incredulously. Really, good manner is the last thing on my mind right now, if it’s even there at all. “JiEun ah, please… let me handle this!”
“Why, of course! Guilty as charged!” He said proudly as he high-fived his posse.
“What the hell? Why? You better fix this!” I yelled.
He shook his head as he grinned at me. “Nope. Do it yourself.”
I glared at him as he continued to laugh with his posse. Then he turned to look at me once again.
“I have a question though. How exactly do girls like you have so much confidence?” He asked.
“What the hell do you mean by that?” I huffed angrily.
He shifted his eyes from my face, down to my legs, and up to my face once again. Does he have x-ray vision? Of course he doesn’t! He’s not Superman! Silly Lily!
“Well, I mean… You’re not exactly… attractive. And if I remember correctly, only attractive girls have confidence. Girls like you… ehh… not so much. So I’m actually pretty surprised that you have a lot.” TaeYang said with a smirk.
My eyes were literally slits as I glared at him. How dare he?
“I think what he meant is you’re ugly.” SeungRi spoke up with a grin.
I turned my glare towards him. “Look who’s talking! Done any surgeries lately? Your dark circles aren’t as dark as they used to be!” I yelled.
His face darkened as he took a step towards me. Yeah! Come! I’m not afraid! So I might not be able to use my awesome karate kick on TaeYang, but I can still use it on someone else!
TaeYang grinned as he held up his hand, preventing SeungRi from approaching me.
“SeungRi ah, let it go. She may be ugly, but she’s still a girl.” TaeYang said. “C’mon, let’s go.”
I released the breath I didn’t know I was holding. Damn, I hate him! Him and his stupid posse! Why do people like him have to exist in this world?
“Yah, Lily ah… Are you ok?” JiEun asked hesitantly.
I flashed a small smile. I’m not going to let what he said get to my head. That’ll just ruin me. Think positive! Think positive! Think… positive… Nemo!
“Mmm… yeah. I’m fine.” I said slowly. “Let’s go. We’re going to be late.”
We didn’t make it far when someone interrupted us once again.
“Ahem! You two dorks!”
I took a deep breath before I turned around. What now? If I knew that today was going to be like this, I would have probably stayed home. But of course, I’m a straight A student, and straight A students don’t ditch class. I can almost hear my sister say that to me.
My eyes widened slightly before they returned to normal. Lee HaeWon just talked to us. Well, not talk… called out. It must be the end of the world or something. An apocalypse! Yeah, that’s it! Why you ask? Well, the dork and the beautiful don’t mix like I told you earlier. This is not a fairytale! This is reality! Maybe I’m living in a parallel universe. Well, wherever I am, it’s still weird.
“Yes?” I asked as she approached us.
“Is it true what you said to TaeYang?”
I rolled my eyes. She was swishing and swashing her blond hair. Does she think she look pretty doing that? She looked like she was trying to get rid of dandruff or something! Which I’m pretty sure she has a lot of. Never doubt that.
“What’s it to you?” I said as I raised my eyebrow.
“Yah! Don’t talk to him ever again got it?” She yelled.
I snorted. “Do you think I like talking to him? Oh please, he’s all yours.” I said and with a swish of my own hair, I walked away triumphantly.
So, I think I finally understood why he doesn’t talk to other girls. But I didn’t know they were going out. Oh well, who cares? It’s a match made in heaven anyway. One’s a stupid stuck up jerk and the other’s a dumb blond. Perfect, isn't it?

Hmm.. it must be really nice when the popular kids talk to you... but for some reason, Lily doesnt like it... weird, isn't it? hahahahaha... hope you guys like the chapter! don't forget to tell me what you think!!! XD
