One week later...
Yunho lay back on his leather seat in the office. he pinched the bridge of his nose and close his eyes. He cant really focused on his work. not that his mind didnt working but his mind was working on the other thing. Or should he say.. one person particularly. Yunho sighed. He was really in a big mess. He tried to work really hard just to ignore his own thought but then it comes again and he felt like he was being haunted by the man.
"Jaejoong...." he whispered. he once again closed his eyes and let out a sigh. Again. Within these few days, he kept on thinking of Jaejoong well to be more accurate since the party night.
Yunho could still remember the way Jaejoong was laughing, the way he covered his mouth when he was laughing, and the way Jaejoong smiled, the beautiful smiled painted by his beautiful full lips. Now, Yunho was captured under the spell made by the lips. who would believe there is spell come along with lips?.
Yunho remembered what he had done on their wedding day after the party. he was harsh and cold with Jaejoong. he could still remembered the confused and shock look on Jaejoong's face. And after all, the most thing he still remembered is the hurt and sad face of Jaejoong. He know that Jaejoong must be really hate him. He knew it but Jaejoong would never say it right to his face telling how Jaejoong hate him to the core because he knew Jaejoong would never wanted to hurt his parent. Yunho knew that.
Then, his assistant, Hankyung came crossed his mind. thinking about him, Yunho could feel that Hankyung had some kind of feeling towards his wife. Yunho knew it just from the way the guy stared at Jaejoong. he saw the guy would laugh everytime Jaejoong was smiling or laughing or stared lovingly whenever the beautiful man was looking at the other way. Well thats what Yunho saw during the party night.
Yunho felt threatened with that thought. What if one day he lost Jaejoong to his assistant?.. What if Jaejoong asked for divorced from him?.. No.. Yunho shook his head. he didnt want that. Now he realised he didnt want to lose Jaejoong. No.. Not in this life.. or another life. thats what Yunho decided. He will tried to kept Jaejoong by his side and he wanted to changed Jaejoong's feeling and love him.
But then, he remembered his conversation with his friend Park YooChun. About Yoochun's suggestion to divorced Jaejoong after a year of their marriage. Once again.. No.. Yunho didnt want to divorced the beautiful man. Now he determined to get Jaejoong's attention and most importantly Jaejoong's love.
How can Jaejoong loves him?.. Yunho thought about this. He had hurt the man.. he had been harsh and cruel towards the man even from the first day they become one. and the worst is Yunho's second marriage with HeeChul. How can he gained Jaejoong's trust when he himself had betrayed their vows. Well, in the earlier Yunho didnt really care about how Jaejoong felt at that time cause all he know is he marry to his lover.
Now, with HeeChul being pregnant, Yunho must spent most of his time with his second wife than with Jaejoong and now he questioned himself.. How will he gained the trust?.. and he knows.. with the less time he spent with Jaejoong, he will gone far to reached Jaejoong's heart. Now, he is afraid... afraid that he will never had the chance to hold Jaejoong's heart and keep it with him. Yunho really wanted to change his attitude toward Jaejoong so that Jaejoong will be more comfortable with him. Yunho sighed for the third time.
He look at his phone and was thinking should he call or not. Oh yeah.. Yunho wanted to call because he wanted to hear Jaejoong's voice. With the silence became a good friend with the air in the room, Yunho is like could hear the soft angelic voice owned by Jaejoong is calling him. The voice was ringing through his ear. But, Yunho never heard the sweet voice of Jaejoong spoken to him. He could only heard that when Jaejoong talked to his brother, to Changmin or to his parent.
Yunho took his phone and dialled the number. he put the device near his ear and could hear the rings. Yunho was slightly nervous as he waited for the phone to be picked up.
"Hello..." there he heard the soft voice. Yunho tightened his gripped at the small object near his ear.
"Hello Jaejoong.." Yunho said. he wanted to be more softer to Jaejoong to show the other man a sign that he wanted to start the things all over but... he realised he had voice out a word with his cold tone.
"Yes?.. Err.. Yun-ho?.." Yunho could heard Jaejoong was stuttering. he had barely talked to Jaejoong since the incident involving HeeChul and now Jaejoong must be thinking that he had made a mistake.
"Yes its me.. what are you doing?.." Yunho asked coldly. But inside of him, he was cursing himself for that. he wanted to make up with Jaejoong but now his voice makes it on the other way.
"Erm.. i was doing the house chores.. why?.. you need anything?.." Jaejoong asked and there are relieved in his voice realising that he had done nothing wrong.
"No.. i just call to check up on you.. thats all.. i need to do work.." Yunho said hanging up the phone not waiting for the replied from the other man. Yunho sighed. its was more difficult than he thought. he really didnt know what to do now. Yunho took his pen and opened the file that needed to be checked by him. he look through the paper but still he was thinking about Jaejoong until he could hear a knock on the door.
"Come in" he said. YUnho looked up at the door and saw Hankyung walking towards him holding a few files on his hand. Hankyung bowed.
"Sir.. this files need to be checked and signed by you sir.." Hankyung said. Yunho looked at the man in front of him and realised that the man was really good looking and from the way he talk, Yunho knew that he was a soft hearted man.. a nice guy. But.. when Yunho looked at his eyes. Yunho could find anger, hurt and hatred in his eyes when he was looking at Yunho now. 'Maybe he is trying to controlled himself from give me a punch' he thought.
"Okay..." Yunho took the files. Hankyung bowed once again and was about to turned around when Yunho's voice stopped him.
"Wait.. sit down.. i need to talked with you about something.." Yunho said. Hankyung listened the orders and took a seat in front of his boss.
"Yes sir... what do you want to talk about sir?.." Hankyung asked. Yunho quiet for few minutes looking at Hankyung.
"Jaejoong... you know him?.." Yunho asked straightforwardly. Hankyung was surprised a little and looked at Yunho.
"Erm.. Yes sir.. we come from the same place sir.. and we're close friends before.." Hankyung replied. Yunho felt they were more than friends.
"Really?.. but at that party night.. i saw you two acted strangely when you first approached him.." Yunho said.
"What do you want to know sir?.." Hankyung asked. he started to feel angry with the way Yunho asked him.'What else do he want?.. he married to Jaejoong and now he see us like we're having an affair behind him' he thought.
"The truth.." Yunho said looking straight to Hankyung's eyes. His assistant was also looking at him intensely. Both of the man staring each other.
"We love each other..."
