Lei arrived after Ximen had arrived. He bended his head down, seeing Daomingsi and Shancai back. He knew Shancai's and his story had never started so why was he so sad?
"Welcome back Ah Si," his tone doesn't sound welcoming. He sat down beside Ximen and kept quiet.
Shancai and Daomingsi could feel that, but they did not ask anything.
"Sorry Lei, I hurt you," Shancai thought, feeling guitly.

"Ah Si, you and Shancai...How is it?" Ximen smirked at them.
Daomingsi and Shancai got what he was asking but they tried to change the subject. "Nothing!" they replied at the same time.
Ximen and Meizhuo laughed at the couple. Xiao Qiao smiled at them while Lei gave a faint smile and drank his beer. He neither seen happy nor talk much throughout the whole night.
After the night, Daomingsi asked Meizhuo to send Shancai home while he continued to stay in the pub. Meizhuo did as what Daomingsi requested and went back to the pub to send Xiao Qiao home.
"Ah Si, you haven't tell Shancai that you sever ties with empress right?" Ximen asked after Meizhuo left with Xiao Qiao.
Daomingsi nodded his head. "So..." Daomingsi thought.
"So what?" Ximen asked.
"So... Lei, I will stay in your house!" Daomingsi said.
Lei stopped his drink and said, "Why not Ximen or Meizhuo's house?"
"No reason," Daomingsi smiled.

"You waiting for me?" Lei asked Daomingsi at his house balcany at night.
"I know you still like Shancai," Daomingsi muttered.
Lei hesitated for a while and said, "But Shancai likes you, so, we will never be together," he explained while looking at the dark blue sky.
Daomingsi was moved by his buddy's words. "Lei, thanks!" he thanked Lei.
Lei turned and looked at him then gave a light smile and looked at the sky again.
Daomingsi followed his action too and said, "You helped me again and again, I know you are a great friend!"
Lei did not say anything but his smile was clearly seen on his face.
