“Where are you Aaron?” mumbled Hebe shivering from the cold.
She sat on the bench and ran through the memories she had with Aaron.
The laughter, joy and friendship.
“I miss you Aaron, I miss you a lot, where are you?”
She waited for another 2 hours shivering in the cold but she did not give up.
“I don’t believe you won’t come, I know you will come”.
It was 9pm but Aaron did not appear anywhere.
Hebe did not give up, she still believe that Aaron will come.
Her hands were freezing cold, she kept breathing onto her hands to keep them warm.
At last she couldn’t take it anymore and fell on the ground.
Just went she was about to hit the ground a pair of warm arms held onto her and pulled her into his embrace,
“Aaron…Aaron…” mumbled Hebe.
The pair of arms carried her up and pulled her close to his body.
‘Why do you have to torture yourself like this?”
The voice belonged to Hero, he carried her to the nearest hospital and the nurses gave her to correct treatment. The doctor wanted Hebe to stay in hospital for a night and Hebe begged Hero to stay with her which Hero agreed to.
“Who brought me to the hospital Hero?” asked Hebe.
“Er…I don’t know” answered Hero lying.
“Could it be Aaron?”
“Um….maybe..”
“but I don’t think so, he didn’t come”
Hebe looked down disappointed.
Hero couldn’t stand her like this and said, “ Oh come on! Sleep now! You need some rest!”
He tugged her into the blankets and turned off the lights.
Hero purposely put her into a private room because he knew Hebe will feel very uncomfortable with unknown people around her.
Hebe fell asleep right away because she was very tired for such a long day out in the cold.
Hero smiled at the sleeping Hebe, “When will you notice me?” thought Hero.
“Only one more thing to do” mumbled Hero.

After a while someone came into Hebe’s room and walked towards her.
Hero stood up and smiled then left the room.
The person looked at Hero and mouthed a “thank you”
That person sat beside Hebe’s bed looking at her sleeping.
“You freaked me out” mumbled Aaron while stroking her hair.
“I miss you so much..”
“Aaron…Aaron..where are you…don’t leave me…” mumbled Hebe.
Hebe shook in fear and Aaron held onto her hand and hushed her.
He kissed her forehead and accompanied her the whole night until 5am.
He didn’t want to let her know he came so he left early.
When he passed through the door he remembered what Hero said.
*On the phone
“Hello?” answered Aaron.
“Aaron, this is Hero”
Aaron’s tone of voice changed and said, “What do you want?”
“Listen to me Aaron! I don’t care if you are still angry at Hebe, believe it or not she did nothing”.
“Of course you’ll say that! If you’re ringing because of this then I will advise you to hang up because none of this shit will I believe”.
“Jeezzz, what did that ghost give you?”
“HERO!”
“Ok, ok, listen to me, Hebe is in the hospital now”.
“WHAT!! WHAT!! WHY? IS SHE ALRIGHT?”
“I don’t care if you’re still angry at her, she’s in hospital and it’s your choice if you want to come or not. Her room is 205. Ching Wah Hospital. Just to mention, she’s in hospital just because of you, you should be ashamed of yourself. Your choice to come or not!”
With that Hero hung up.
Aaron thoughts:
Hebe’s in the hospital?
Is she alright?
But….she did such bad stuff, she deserves it...
Aaron paused for a while and hesitated.
ARGH! I don’t care, I need to see her!
He picked up his jacket and mobile and rushed to the hospital.
*End Of Flashback
“I’m sorry Hebe, I want to believe you but all the evidence is directed onto you”.
Aaron sighed and headed back to his apartment.
Hebe woke up straight after Aaron left only to see a sleeping Hero on the couch.
Hebe thoughts:
So it was Hero that was with me the whole night.
I thought it was Aaron but meh!
There’s no way he will come..
“Goodmorning Hebe!” said Hero while stretching.
Hebe grinned and replied, “ Goodmorning! Had fun sleeping on the couch?”
“Um….er…yea!” answered Hero.
“I’m sorry you need to sleep on the couch for the whole night! I bet your back must be hurting a lot!”
Hero didn’t answer Hebe since he did not sleep on the couch the whole night.
Aaron had been taking care of her the whole night so he actually went home for a while to get changed and have a bit of rest before coming back to see Hebe.
It wasn’t because he didn’t care about Hebe but he wanted to give some time for Aaron.
He knew Aaron was not those kinds of people that don’t understand things.
After growing up with him he knew he wasn’t an immature person so he believed that Aaron could sort things out properly.
“Hero? Hero?”
“Huh?!”
“What’s wrong?”
“Oh nothing! Do you want to get out of hospital now?”
“Yep!”
“Ok, I’ll go do the paper work! Go get dressed!”
Hero left Hebe in the room and Hebe slowly got dressed up.
Hebe thought:
I swear there must be somebody else that visited me last night.
Who was it?
The feeling was not the feeling Hero gives me…
She looked at the wet cloth on the table next to her.
Hebe thoughts:
Who was it?
*Aaron’s side
Aaron just got home and laid on the couch for some rest.
*Aaron’s thought:
Why did Hebe have to do such stuff to Gui Gui?
If she never did then she should’ve communicated with me after the incident to tell me what was going on.
That’s her personality..
But why didn’t she contact me at all?
DING DONG!
Aaron looked at the door and guessed who it was.
Gui Gui he thought.
Nowadays Gui Gui will usually visit him once in two days or even once a day,
Sometimes Aaron really doesn’t understand why she has so much time.
He walked over and painted a warm smile on his face and opened the door revealing a very happy Gui Gui.
“Hi AARON!! Look what I got for you? Another fish to accompany the black fish!” greeted Gui Gui.
Aaron looked at the fish which was inside a plastic case and observed it.
The fish was a gold one with very beautiful fins.
Its gold shone brightly under the sunlight.
“Oh! Thankyou!” answered Aaron.
‘I’ll go help you put it in the tank!”
With that she entered his house and ran towards the tank with a lonely black fish in it which was missing the white fish’s accompany.
Gui Gui gently poured the gold fish into the tank and observed their actions however they don’t seem to get along that well.
“Come on! Go play with him!” yelled Gui Gui using a straw pushing the gold fish towards the black fish.
“Hey! Stop! They’re just fish!” yelled Aaron terrified at her actions,
Gui gui looked at Aaron acknowledging that her actions was a mistake which decreased her reputation in Aaron’s eyes.
“Um…don’t you think they look very compatible?” asked Gui gui quickly changing the topic hoping that incident will not be so memorable in his mind.
“Er…maybe…”
“Do you like the gold fish?”
“It’s alright..”
“Do you like the gold fish more or the white fish more?”
“Uh…it doesn’t really matter,,,” Aaron longed to say the white fish but he didn’t want to disappoint Gui gui.
Gui Gui was disappointed at his answer but didn’t show any of it but ran over to Aaron.
“Come on! Let’s go out today! What about the theme park?”
“Theme park?”
“Yeah! I really want to go! Please Aaron! Please Aaron!”
“Er,,,ok….but I think we should wear some sunglasses so people won’t recognize us..”
“Ok!”
Gui gui had her sunglasses in her bag and Aaron took his wallet, mobile, keys and sunglasses.
They left for the theme park with a jolly and excited Gui Gui.
*Hebe side
“HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“What the hell?”
“I just got an idea!!”
“What idea?”
“Let’s go to the theme park!”
“Huh?! Oh please no! you will scream your ass off!! NOOOO!!”
‘Oh come on! I just got out of hospital! I want some fun!”
“Um…I think you need some rest instead” answered Hero pushing Hebe to the other direction.
“Aw..please…pretty please..with a cherry on top!” smiled Hebe sweetly turning around to face Hero.
“ARGH! FINE!”
They walked under the beautiful sunlight towards the theme park.
