Aaron wasn’t interested in how Gui Gui looked like what the usual future husbands will be like.
He just sat on the bench and stared at the cross.
The cross had a model of Jesus hung on it.
He stared deeply at it praying everything were a dream.
Praying everything would not have turned out this way,
Praying everything could turn back the way it was before.
Praying he could joke and gossip with Hebe and Hero again.
He shook his head as he stopped staring and looked down on the floor.

“Congratulations!” he heard from behind him.
He recognized it was Hero and jumped up.
Aaron looked at Hero surprised Hebe wasn’t there.
“Thanks but where is Hebe?” asked Aaron.
“She er….( “I can’t say she didn’t want to come, it will be so rude!” thought Hero.”) er…um…she just doesn’t feel so well” answered Hero.
“Oh,,” sighed Aaron as he sat back down and closed his eyes.
“Tired so fast? There’s still a long path” commented Hero as he sat next to him.
“I never wanted this path…” mumbled Aaron.
“Sorry buddy but you chose it! Your luck!” said Hero.
“Hero, do you still remember how we used to play heads and tails? I used to win all the time. At that time I thought I am the luckiest person on earth. I guess…I’m wrong….I envy you Hero. You can talk to Hebe as if nothing is wrong but I can’t…everything won’t be back like how it used to be. Is it true that the more luck you have when you were young the more bad luck you will have when you grow up?”
“You never know Aaron. Everyone has their own….troubles…it just depends….depends on what it’s about. People are sometimes satisfied with just seeing the one they love happy but some people needs them beside them until they will be satisfied. You never know Aaron, I might be frustrated with the same person as you are…” answered Hero as he mumbled the last few words softly.
“Huh?” asked Aaron turning to him as he couldn’t hear the last words.
Luckily Hero was saved by Aaron’s dad who came over and called Aaron over to get everything set up for the ceremony that was going to begin in 10 minutes.
Hero patted Aaron’s back and smiled an encouraging smile while Aaron punched his chest as they always did to each other when they were younger.
Aaron followed his dad away and Hero mumbled a “good luck” after him.
Aaron wasn’t the only one that wanted everything to be the way it was before, Hero wanted that too.
Their memories flashed in their minds as Aaron walked away.
*Flashback 1 (Following flashbacks are not included in the story before so you are not repeating what you have read!”
“AARON!” yelled Hero.
“What?” hissed Aaron as he was standing at the kitchen door of his grandma’s house.
“Let’s get that jar of cookies!” whispered Hero.
“NO WAY! GRANDMA WOULD KILL ME!” hissed Aaron as he signed Hero to get down from the chair.
“Oh come on Aaron! I’m not tall enough! I need your help! Come on! Get up here and I will lift you up!” snorted Hero.
“Oh no Hero!” hissed Aaron.
“GET UP HERE OR I WILL TELL THE WHOLE CLASS YOU STILL WET YOUR PANTS!” whispered Hero irritated.
“GOSH FINE! Let me turn into a human meat bun!” mumbled Aaron as he climbed up the chairs onto Hero,
Aaron reached for the jar, they were near success however interrupted by a “WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU BOYS ARE DOING!!” and both of them tumbled down like monkeys.
*End of Flashback
*Flashback 2
Hero and Aaron were throwing notes across the classroom since they were separated by the teacher due to their non stop talking.
Hero threw a piece of paper at Aaron and Aaron read it.
He wrote more stuff about how ugly their teacher was and threw it back to Hero however he didn’t see the teacher and it hit her forehead.
“WHO WAS THAT!” yelled the teacher furiously as she picked up the piece of paper and read it.
Her eyes grew wider and wider as she came across each word.
“WHO WROTE THIS!” yelled the teacher as she eyed Hero and Aaron suspiciously.
“Hey teacher! Don’t look at me! It was Aaron!” said Hero pointing to Aaron.
The teacher turned to Aaron and asked, “YOU!”
Aaron denied and pointed back to Hero saying, “IT WAS HIM!”
“You?” asked the teacher.
“NO IT WAS HIM!” yelled Hero as the teacher turned back to Aaron.
“No, it was Hero!” yelled Aaron and the teacher turned back to Hero,
“Was it you Hero!” yelled the teacher.
“No teacher! It was Aaron!” shouted Hero and the teacher turned back to Aaron.
“YOU!” yelled Aaron pointing at Hero and the teacher pointed at Hero and said “You” too.
“YOU!” yelled Hero back pointing to Aaron and the teacher dumbly followed him and confused herself.
“Who?” asked the teacher.
“YOU!” yelled Hero and Aaron at the teacher.
“ME?” asked the teacher pointing to herself and the whole class burst out laughing.
*End Of Flashback
Hero and Aaron smirked at the flashbacks and Aaron turned around,
He smiled at Hero and Hero smiled back.
Hero did a thumbs up and Aaron hit his chest and pointed at Hero.
Hero smirked at Aaron walked away.
“Aaron…” muttered Hero as he sat back down.
*Hebe side.
Hebe stared at the clock and sighed.
Bella suddenly ran in her room and climbed up her bed.
She sat beside Hebe and played with her hair.
“What’s wrong Bella?” asked Hebe as she brushed Bella’s hair.
“Jie Jie! Why aren’t you going to that ge ge”s wedding ceremony?” asked Bella.
“How did you know about this?” asked Hebe curiously as she sat up a bit stabling herself while lying on her hand.
Bella pointed to the wedding card that was on her table beside her.
Hebe smiled and sat up even more,
She pulled Bella on her lap and started talking to her.
“You won’t understand Bella,,,” said Hebe.
“I will I will! Jie Jie! Please tell me why aren’t you going?”
Hebe sighed and said, “You know the Ge Ge that you are talking about, we were really good friends in university however after some misunderstanding our friend ship cracked”.
“huh? Cracked? If it cracked then tap it back together. That’s what I saw the nurses do to the broken photo frame”.
Hebe laughed a little at Bella and said, “ You see Bella, this kind of crack cannot be mended. To tell you the truth I like this Ge Ge but this Ge Ge is getting married to another girl”.
“Is it that girl?” asked Bella pointing at the picture of Aaron and Gui Gui.
“Yep, is she pretty?”
“No..” said Bella and Hebe hit her head playfully.
“Don’t be so mean!”
“But Jie Jie. I think you are prettier than that jie jie”.
Hebe laughed and snuggled up Bella’s neck making her giggle while she smiled.
Bella was a little ball of sunshine that will always cheer her up no matter what.
She just can’t imagine not seeing her.
“Jie Jie, go to the wedding and stop Ge Ge from marrying this girl!”
“How could I do this? If Ge Ge agrees to marry this jie jie it must be because he likes him. I’m sure!’ said Hebe.
“I don’t think so jie jie! Actually my mummy and daddy married because my daddy made my mummy pregnant from accident and they had to get married. My daddy was a responsible young man and he decided to face it. I heard that from my grandmother. I think ge ge is like that too”.
“Well…either way…they will love each other soon! Your mummy and daddy liked each other after a period of time together right?” asked Hebe.
“No….they got divorced when I was born” answered Bella.
Hebe’s face showed a face of disappointed and she hugged Bella again.
She sighed and looked down at her, “ You see Bella, you can say jie jie doesn’t have this courage to face what’s happening now”.
“If you don’t have Bella give you!” exclaimed Bella and kissed Hebe’s cheek.
Hebe ruffled her hair and smiled, “ Luck is never on my side”.
“Luck wasn’t on my side when I was born. I had this sickness since I was born. I never get to go to school but I fought for myself. Jie Jie I’m sure God will help you and understand you. The world is fair. The more you give the more you will get paid”.
“When did you become so mature?”
“After I met you!” grinned Bella.
“Jie Jie! No matter what, don’t make yourself regret! If you couldn’t do anything at least you tried”.
Hebe smiled and her courage grew again.
“Ok! Jie Jie understands! At least I tried! Ok then!” said Hebe with sparkles in her eyes.
She put Bella down and stood up.
“I need to try get to the wedding as soon as possible! It’s just around 7 minutes away! I can do this!” said Hebe as she pulled her slippers on, grabbed her invitation, wallet and ran out the door.
“JIA YOU JIE JIE!” screamed Bella behind her.
“ I WILL!” screamed Hebe back as she continued running.
“When you’re in trouble was God always beside you? Was he always here? Did he send a little angel like Bella to clear your thoughts and give you a path to walk? Is the world really fair?” thought Hebe as she rushed to a taxi.
“ Um..here please!” said Hebe as she showed the taxi driver the invitation.
“Er…miss…but you’re in hospital’s clothes. Is it going to be alright?” asked the taxi driver.
“Yes just go!” yelled Hebe.
“I can do this!’ mumbled Hebe encouragingly, “ This is the real Hebe, now I need to race with the time”.

Once again I apologise for not updating so long!
I guess I have made it up rite?? hehe^^
