Chapter 5

Just in time

Hebe kept screaming and screaming.
She couldn’t see anything, her eyes were covered by a cloth.
Her screams were soundless because her mouth was covered by a hand.
She could not move her hands because it was tied together.
She felt a hard thud on her back and she felt herself on the floor.
Next she felt something wet around her neck.
She knew it!
Someone was raping her, she started kicking and whacking that person.
She couldn’t scream, she couldn’t do anything.
For the first time of her life after 13 years old, she was scared.
She was very scared.

Hebe thoughts:
HELP!! Please someone help me!!
I’m still a virgin, I don’t want this!

She continued pushing that person away however she felt the person not touching her anymore.
No one was pulling her clothes, no one was kissing her.
She heard people banging against bins and walls.
Man screaming and equipments dropping.

After a while the sounds were all gone.
She felt very scared.
She started to cry, cry again.
She broke her promise, she said she wouldn’t cry but she was really scared.
She started shaking and crying continuously.
Next she felt warm hands around hers
She tried pushing it away and started screaming again.
That person hugged her close to them.
They untied her hands and pulled her blind fold away.
She looked at that person and it was Aaron.

“ It’s alright now, it’s fine now” whispered Aaron, warmly.

Aaron wrapped his arms around Hebe and pulled her close to him.
Hebe cuddled close to him.
He made Hebe feel warm and secure.
She sobbed in his embrace and Aaron gently stroked her hair.
Hebe’s clothes were torn and dangling.
Aaron broke the hug and took off his jacket for Hebe to wear.
Aaron carried Hebe up in bridal style and walked out of the dark alley.
Hebe snuggled up to him and Aaron smiled.

“I won’t let this happen to you again, I promise” said Aaron, gently and kissed Hebe on the forehead.

Hebe hugged on to Aaron and laid her head on his shoulder.

Hebe thoughts:
Why didn’t I reject him?
Do I like him?
I feel really warm..
This was the feeling I was searching for all the time…
Aaron gave me this feeling..
Not only warmth but love and trust.
But I can’t…I can’t do this..

Hebe couldn’t control herself.
She finally found what was missing all these years.
The warmth, the secure feeling, it was the thing she needed.
She missed this feeling, she tried running away from these feelings but she felt them again.
She didn’t want to let go but…she had to.

Hebe pushed Aaron away and got to her feet.
She gave Aaron his jacket and pulled her ripped clothes together.

“Thank you” whispered Hebe.

She walked away afterwards and let the tears flow down her face.

Hebe thoughts;
What happened to you Hebe Tian?
I thought you were strong….you promised not to cry anymore but why did you change when you met Aaron?

Hebe was shaking from sobbing and the cold wind.

Aaron stared at the disappearing Hebe and saw her turned around the corner.

Aaron thoughts:
Why did she change so quickly?
Do I like Hebe?
My heart was aching when I saw her talking to Hero…
Is this what love feels like?
Is she the one I’ve been searching for?
The one?

*Hebe side

Hebe turned around the corner.
The wind was blowing hard onto her and she was shaking tremendously.
She couldn’t take the cold anymore and collapsed on the floor.
Not long after she collapsed onto the ground a pair of muscular arms carried her up and wrapped her up in a jacket.
