Beside the two fighting men were their kids, standing next to each other and staring at them and apparently shaking with unexpressed laughter. JiHoo, HwangBo, Grandpa Yoon, JanDi and GaEul couldn’t hear what was going on. JanDi and GaEul called their children over. The children ran towards them, bursting into laughter at the first step and leaving a trail of childish laughter behind them, then became quiet when they reached their mothers. All of the heads in the group turned in their direction.
“What’s Appa talking about?” JanDi grabbed hold of JiHan’s shoulders and asked him, sensing that something weird going on and didn’t like the fact that she was left out of it.
“Andeh, I cannot say,” came the reply. Beside him, HanYoung couldn’t hold her laughter in anymore and fell onto the soft green grass. She burst into laughter as she clutched her stomach and rolled around.
“Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Love! Ha ha ha ha! More! Ha ha ha ha! Kiss!! Ha ha ha ha ha!! Competition!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!” The girl let out as she rolled on the floor while her mother simply stared at her, bewildered and not comprehending what her daughter was saying.
“HanYoung! Andeh!” JiHan hissed, though he himself also looked like he was about to burst into laughter.
Just then, JanDi looked up and saw JunPyo and YiJung looking at her and GaEul and smiling evilly like they were plotting something. For a split second, they glanced at each other and smirked. JanDi didn’t like what was going on. She felt like they were plotting to do something to her and GaEul.
“G-GaEul, why are they smiling like that? I-I w-wish to go to the t-toilet…” JanDi whispered nervously to GaEul and grabbed her hand.
Looking at the men, GaEul caught her drift…
“Yah, JanDi ah, I want to go to the toilet too… Let’s go now…” she told JanDi.
“Yeh…”
JanDi and GaEul, still holding each other’s hands, stood up together and made to run for the toilet.
“JanDi! GaEul! Stay there!” the two grown men shouted at them.
“Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” the girls screamed and began to run, looking back just once to see the two men about to run after them.
“Argh! You stupid bird!”
The girls stopped running and turned around to look in the direction of their husbands. What they saw made them laugh so loud and so hard. JanDi was clutching her stomach and pointing at JunPyo who was hitting the head of the goose which was refusing to let his sleeve go. GaEul was on her knees and laughing. She was also pointing at YiJung who was pulling his sleeve vigorously away from the goose which was holding it's grip on YiJung's sleeve hard as it could.
Peals of laughter could also be heard from HanYoung, Jihan and HwangBo.
The two Yoon guys were merely chuckling merrily.
“Noooooooooooo!!!” JanDi and GaEul screamed as they let go of the other’s hand and broke apart, running away, when they saw that JunPyo and YiJung were free from imprisonment by the geese.
The girls ran as far apart from each other and their husbands and as fast as their legs could push them. JunPyo ran after JanDi who was heading for a nearby tree. YiJung ran after GaEul while she zipped from side to side.
“Appa! Faster! Faster!” JiHan cheered his Appa on.
“Appa! Left! Left! Faster Appa! Faster!” HanYoung yelled and cheered her father on too.
Andy had stood up and was barking at the men, joining the children in cheering the two grown men on. Grandpa Yoon laughed out loud as he watched the youngsters chase each other. HwangBo was laughing so hard that she was clutching her own stomach. In the middle of laughing, she lost her balance and fell sideways. For a short moment, her head rested lightly on JiHoo’s shoulder. The two looked away and blushed as she sat up straight again.
“Go away! Go away! Noooo!!!” GaEul squealed as YiJung grabbed her from behind and pulled her into a tight hug. He then forcefully kissed her on the cheek while she squealed louder and attempted to push him off. However, his arms were too strong and she couldn’t wriggle her way out.
“GaEul, you can’t get away from me!” YiJung said out loud, proudly.
“Gu JunPyo! Mission accomplished!” he announced.
“JanDi! Come back here!” JunPyo yelled.
“No!” JanDi replied as she jerked to her left.
A wrong decision.
JunPyo caught up with her immediately and did exactly what YiJung did, except that this time, he turned her around and kissed her forcefully on the lips.
“I did it better than you!” JunPyo announced proudly to YiJung. “Argh! What’d you do that for!?!”
JanDi had punched JunPyo in the stomach. JunPyo let her go and fell on the grass clutching his stomach.
“Yo! Man! Wassup? What did I miss?” WooBin called from a distance. He had come back from shopping and was carrying a rather large box.
