There lies my darling, she is still asleep. She is cuddled up like a kitten beside me, almost waking up. Whenever I see her, I will have the tendency to touch her and give her little kisses. Since young, I have always dreamed of having a perfect home and becoming a perfect husband. This morning, I feel like I’m living my dream. I have my perfect woman beside me.
“Seung gi Oppa” She said softly.
“Good Morning my dear” I turned and pulled her closer to me
“What time is it?”
“Almost 9 sweetie. Did you sleep well last night?”
“I did” She came closer to me and placed her head beside my unshaved chin.
“Its poky” She giggled
“Do you like it?” I gave her a big kiss, rubbing my chin on her face.
“I like everything of yours” She laughed.
“Yeonie, shall we go on a holiday? Like a road trip.”
“I want to see the Golden gates bridge, the vineyards and all the nice attractions”
“Oppa will take you there, I will take you to anywhere you wish to go”
I know Kim will be coming by anytime soon. He will know where we stay since Tei already knows. We left that evening, to San Francisco. After a few days in the city, Yeonie lost interest in the city. We were mugged at the rail station and I got a cut on my arm. After that incident, she didn’t want to stay there anymore. Even Macys and Banana Republic didn’t attract her.
I received a call from Park, he said Grandpa is very ill and I should make a trip back to Korea. He also mentioned that Kim won’t be able to leave Korea this week, because of some engagements. For Grandpa, was it time to go back to Korea?
Coincidently, I met Michelle in San Francisco. She remembers Yeonie very well.
“She does not remember anything, I hope you keep this a secret” I told her.
“Oh, that must be terrible, when are you guys going back to Seoul?” She asked
“Nuna needs to go back to the hospital in Seattle regularly, I don’t plan to take her back to Korea that soon” I didn’t explain to her how Yeonie does not know the truth. Michelle is a good friend, but she does not need to know.
“I called your grandpa last week, he is ill, do you know that?” She asked. Grandpa has always been impressed with Michelle. Like all south Koreas, she is the child prodigy Michelle.
“I am planning to visit him soon” I sighed
“If you are feeling unsure, I can stay with Onni while you go back, I’m having my holidays now and I don’t mind being a house sitter for you!”
That sounded like a great idea. Michelle has become a family friend, and I trusted her.
It was however, a grave mistake.
Chae Yeon:
Oppa suggested we go on a road trip. I was very excited at first, but when Oppa got hurt, I felt bad, because he was trying to protect me. Sometimes I feel really useless, that I am unable to help Oppa in anything. He keeps telling me that I don’t have to do anything but love him. But I do already love him. I want to do more, but somehow, I feel that I am a burden to him.
In San Francisco, we met a young girl name Michelle. She was Oppa’s friend. Oppa said he needs to rush back to Seoul to handle some emergency, and that I should go back to Seattle with Michelle, and go for my medical appointment. I liked Michelle at first, she is really tall and pretty, plus she speaks with a unique Korean accent that sounded cute. But she was not that nice and friendly after Oppa left.
“Onni let me tell you upfront, I am not here to be nice to you. I’m only here because I want Sueng gi to go visit his grandfather. You are just a toy to him, an obsession since you seduced him with your so called charms. Seung gi is a smart man, he won’t be with you forever, he will dump you once he gets sick and tired of you!”
Michelle was always out in the day. At night, she slept in Oppa’s room. She wore his clothes and uses his things. I didn’t know what or who she is, but I didn’t feel very good about her. I think I’m having a fever, which made me unhappy for most of the time. I wished Oppa would come home soon.
Did I really seduced Oppa? Why didn’t he tell me that his grandpa is sick? Does he not want me anymore? Do I have a grandpa? For the first time, I felt troubled.
One morning, Michelle brought a man home, he said his name is Kim.
