I wiped my tears dry and tried to get a hold of myself.
“Come with me!” I pulled her out of the restaurant into my car, leaving her with no choice but to follow.
“I don’t want to go anywhere, Seung gi, stop” She unbuckled the seatbelt I fastened for her and tried to open the door.
“I just want to bring you to a place. I will let you go after that” I sped off.
She looked at me with her teary eyes and quieted down. My little woman, since when were you afraid of me? Didn’t you want me to promise you that I’ll never leave you?
I drove to Chongsan mountain. I know this is where she comes when she misses Tae Min Shi.
“Why did you bring me here?” She asked coldly
“Do you remember this place?” I kept her close to me. It was the middle of winter, the mountain was covered in light snow. It was icy and slippery.
“Lets go, I don’t want to stay here” she started walking away
“Tae Min Shi has been gone for a long time. Its time to forget him, stop living in the past, please” I hugged on to her.
The mentioned of Tae Min made Yeonie stood frozen on the ground.
“How do you know him?” She said in a shivery voice
“He sent me to take care of you.” I held her icy little hands and rubbed them to give her warmth.
“Seung gi, I’m sorry”
“You don’t have to tell me you are sorry. I don’t expect anything from you. All I ask for is to be able to be by your side. Even as a friend, its enough. Because I cannot live without you. Please don’t shut me out from your life, I won’t be able to take it.”
She kept crying. Woman are indeed made of water, especially a little woman like her.
“Forget Tae Min, promise me that he is history. He will never come back, he is gone forever”
“No! He is not… he will always live in my heart.. just like my Seung gi Oppa” She broke down and collapsed on the snow.
I picked her up and seated her safely in the car. What am I fighting against? I just want to bring happiness to her. Why can’t happiness ever reach her?

Koo Jun-Yup (That bald headed Clon Oppa in Cy’s company):
“I want to know if you are still seeing Seung gi” Park came to our studio to look for Chae Yeon
“Whether I see him or not is none of your business” Chae Yeon looked mad.
I know she has been avoiding Seung gi since she came back from her secret meeting with him, shouldn’t Park himself know if they are still seeing each other?
“You are finally showing your true colours! Seung gi is blind and his grandfather is not in the right mind to think. But I will make sure that Seung gi does the right thing, and that does not include you in anyway” He shouted loudly
“You! Stay away from her” I could not just stand there watching him bullying Chae Yeon like that.
“Your job is not to come harass her, but discipline your own boy. Get lost!” I lifted him up and threw him out of the studio
“I’m sorry” She said with her teary eyes
“What do you have to be sorry for? Tomorrow, you are coming to my class reunion. I need to find you a husband” I instructed her
“I don’t want to” She pouted
“Do you intend to carry on with Seung gi?”
“No.” she starred into space
“Then you shall come with me. Are you going to be rebellious to your Oppa?” I used my hand to squeeze her head. She always tries to appear strong, but her tears always betray her.
Chae Yeon this dongseng is a silly little girl. She is so vulnerable to anything, that as an Oppa in the company, I find that it has become a silent agreement between me and the Director to take care of her. I’ve known her for 7 years, I know her very well. She is too kind, too silly, and thinks that people are naturally nice.
Because of this Dongseng, many of my girlfriends get jealous. They suspect that we are together, they dislike Chae Yeon for that. Only the ones who truly trust me will come to understand that Chae Yeon is just a silly thing that does not know how to protect herself.
Her personality matches Seung gi’s. He is a good boy, I think he is very talented, but there are too many “If” in their relationship.
If only he is older
If only she is younger
If only they are not celebrities, not scrutinized under the media.
If only he is not the grandson of Korea’s Shipping magnate.
“Seung gi, do you have time?” I specially went to look for him at the TV station
“Hyung, Hello. I do have time, what is the matter?” the boy looked shocked that I’m here to find him
“You should know why I am here for. Other than her, we have no other matters”
“Hyung, do you give us your support?”
“I don’t” I gave him an immediate answer
“I respect you because you are my senior, but if you are here to tell me to leave her, you are wasting your time”
“I’m in no position to tell you what to do. She told you to leave her alone but you didn’t listen. Instead you abducted her and hid her away from her friends and family. So no, I’m not here to tell you to leave her. I’m just here to tell you what Chae Yeon has been through because your affection towards her”
I told Seung gi about all the calls and letters and disturbance Chae Yeon has received, things that she would never have told him. No matter what a man does, he is always forgiven. But when a female does something different, it will never be appreciated. In their little relationship, no one will blame Seung gi for being in love with her. Chae Yeon receives all the blames and unfriendly remarks.
Seung gi started tearing. It pains me to see them both like that, but even without being together, they are in this situation. What will they need to face if they decide to be together?
“You are a good boy, and I know you are capable to buy her anything she wants. But Chae Yeon does not need that. She does not need a young boy to dote on her, She does not need your money, all you can give is love, but what is that use? Soon you’ll have to enrol in the Army, the problems just goes on. Be fair to her, let her go, let her find a man who can love her and protect her. She deserves happiness, don’t you think?”
“She does deserves happiness” he said softly
