“I’m beginning to regret I rescued you from your gastric attack…” Kevin moaned massaging his arms as they sat down for lunch.
“And I’m beginning to regret I survived my injuries…” Raymond chipped in more mourning.
“What useless men you are… And I’d thought we were doing you good helping you develop some muscles of yours to beat even Mr. Universe,” Niki jeered at the two moaning men.
“Are you regretting you came on this ‘date’?” Michelle asked threateningly.
“No… no… I wouldn’t dream of trading my position for the world,” Raymond lied skillfully as a hundred of his preferable positions ran through his head making him feel a hundred times worse.
Niki shot Kevin a look.
“No, no one can dream of substituting this position of mine. I’d fight a battle of life and death…” he lied as smoothly.
The two girls however seemed satisfied with their lies. Niki’s eyes brightened as she saw the word ‘Sale’ hanging outside a Chanel outlet they’ve yet visited.
“Ooooh, Mich, we’ve got to go there…” Niki pulled Michelle towards the outlet without waiting for the two guys.
“Hey, hey what about lunch?” Kevin cried out desperately.
“Lunch can wait…” they called back disappearing among the crowds. Raymond gave Kevin a glance before picking up the dozens of shopping bags and chasing after the girls.

“Ahh…” Niki darted behind Kevin as the pale long haired Korean ghost threatened to climb out of the screen.
“I thought you said you like it?” Kevin watched Niki who had been hiding for almost the entire movie.
“Yeah I like it,” Niki peeped out from his sleeve.
Another piercing shriek from the audio system of the cinema sent Niki back into her hiding.
“How can you actually like it when you’ve not watched it?” Kevin tapped on the shuddering Niki whose grasp was almost tearing his sleeve.

Raymond collected his courage before daring himself to slip an arm across Michelle’s shoulder. Michelle looked very absorbed into the romantic movie they were watching, but Raymond was trying hard to suppress his yawn.
Suddenly Michelle burst into tears and lunged onto his shoulders for a wipe.
“Shh… Mich, it’s just a movie…” Raymond was taken aback by her outburst. The cool Michelle was actually sobbing into his shoulders. He could hardly believe it.

After the movie, the two couples met outside.
“How was your movie?” they asked simultaneously. The two guys were out of comment and only exchanged glances that read ‘woman’ while the girls exchanged theirs animatedly.
“Hey, hey… look!” Niki pointed to another corner where a guy held tightly to his girlfriend’s hand walked out.
“Vicki!” Niki jumped and waved.
They looked startled to see their friends but nevertheless walked over. Alec looked like he was going to break their hold, but Vicki did not let him go.
“Hey guys, fancy meeting you here…” she said.
“That should be our line!” Niki eyed Vicki mischievously.
“Yeah, uh, Alec and I are just catching a movie out of boredom. It’s my first time here… well for as long as my memory recalls anyway,” she said.

The dark sky lighted by a sea of twinkling stars was quite a sight. The night breeze sent a romantic sensation through them. Raymond sat by Michelle who had her eyes closed, and her head tilted slightly to let the wind blow her hair into beautiful little ripples. She was breathing lightly smelling the cool air.
Raymond felt his heart race as it was his first chance to see her flawless complexion close up. Her eyelashes curled daintily from the tip of her eyelids. The tip of her nose drew in and out slightly as she breathed leisurely, her lips was just the right shade and had the perfect moisture. His eyes ran down her neck to her bare shoulders that showed off her smooth pale skin.
She’s so beautiful… like an angel…
He ran his fingers lightly at her flowing hair as his face neared hers smelling her freshly shampooed hair. She had light perfume on, so light she was almost not scented, yet enough to give the tingling sensation.
I can feel his breath at my neck. Michelle’s heart beat was almost still. His body warmth…
Michelle felt his fingers running through her hair, and then ran down to touch her fingers… then snaked its way to hold her waist in his arm. His breathing was drawing closer as his other palm lightly outlined her face with its back, and then turned over to cup her face. Michelle took up her other hand not holding Raymond’s to hook it over his neck.
Raymond closed his eyes and lowered his lips to gently kiss her neck as Michelle’s hang brought them together into an embrace. His hands on her face slid down to her breasts and then went behind to pull loose the only knot holding her halter top together, then lowered his body against hers until they were finally on a lying position.
Michelle felt his broad shoulders pinning her down gently. His half buttoned shirt was already flapping open in the winds, revealing his muscular body beneath. She held his firm and perfectly toned body close to warm her.
Raymond forgot that this was the girl he had been after for many years, he no longer remembered that she had rejected him a time too many before, he didn’t even remember where they were… he only knew that she was his for now, and forever.

“Ms. Chow! Do you mind walking in proper manner? You’re hopping like a child in a street crowded with people,” Kevin called after a skipping Niki.
“So what?! Are you embarrassed? Then don’t follow me!” Niki stuck her tongue out at him, her face distorted into a comical expression.
Kevin couldn’t help laughing and jogged up to chase her. He tried to read her face to see if she was acting mad or really annoyed.
“Why are you here? Thought you’re too manly to walk beside me?” Niki pouted, turning her face the other way and pretended to be entertained by the displays in the shops they pass by.
“My lady, I’ll always be walking beside you from now on…” Kevin said persuasively, reaching for her hand
“Hmmmph!” Niki tugged her hand free and sped off not waiting for him.
“Niki!” he cried. What an adorable girl… Just endearing enough for me… Heh…
“Are… we playing chase?” he asked panting from running after her.
“You’re too slow to play chase with me. And you call yourself a police? Bet all those training in your academy to make you fit went down the drain long time ago huh?” Niki was still not ready to forgive him.
“I’m slow? Just wait and see…” his words trailed as he broke into a run after Niki who took a head start.
The two tore down the entire street attracting quite some onlookers as they sped by. Niki was not about to give in but, but Kevin proved the police academy training to be up to par when he caught her by the waist and swung her around easily.
Niki opened her mouth to cry ‘Not fair’ but Kevin had already landed his kiss on her lips. Niki tried to wriggle free but Kevin only tightened his grasp around her. Niki soon found her melting in his passionate kiss and her wriggles died down as she slipped her arms around his neck, enjoying their first kiss since they dated. The passer bys couldn’t help staring at the two lovebirds that seemed to forget the world around them.
