“Ken, today’s my day off, for Pete’s sake,” Raine said almost in a verge of crying
“You’re so immature, get up big baby.” Ken pulled her right arm forcing her to stand
Raine pulled her hand, used her hands to rub her eyes gently angrily stood up and looked at Ken, now with her hands on her hips, “This better be good, or else, I might just end up killing you,” Raine pointed a finger
“NO need to be violent,” Ken said swatting the accusing finger
“SO what is it that you want?” she asks sleepily
“You know how it’s Saturday today,” He says excitedly
Raine not getting his point looked at him as if he had grown another head
“GO straight to the point Ken,” She warned tightening her fist
“How dare he wake me up for this?” she thought to her self angrily
Upon hearing her response, Ken looked hurt he was about to turn and walk away but he felt Raine pull him back, “What Is it Really Ken,” she asks
“It would have been our fifth year anniversary if we stayed married, and also our tenth year friendship anniversary,” he says still with a hurt expression
“Ok for the friend ship anniversary I understand, but for the wedding anniversary…” before she could finish she found Ken on the floor bursting out in laughter
“What???” she asks him
“I just said that to get you back, gosh Raine you’re face was priceless, anyways about our whole decade of being friends,” he says trying so hard to not laugh.
“Has it really been Ten years?” Raine says as she scratches her head, showing as if she was really thinking
“I’m offended Raine, even our four year old remembered,” Ken tells her looking at her intentionally
At the sound of her daughter Raine’s facial expression changed, “Did she call?” she asks eagerly
“Yup!” “And guess what we’re the first words she told me,” Ken says
“What!!!” she asks
“Happy Ten year anniversary Pa and Ma,” “And I can’t believe you would forget such a thing,” Ken shook his head
Raine felt so guilty, how can she not remember this of all things why did it have to this? Raine went to Ken and hugged him tight, trying to make up for what she has done. Instead of hugging her back Ken stood completely still, just to tease her…
“Ken I’m sorry,” she whispers in his ears
No answer
“Ken I said I’m sorry,” she repeated this time tilting his chin so that he was staring at her straight in the eyes
“I’ll make it up to you ok, I will not go out today and accompany you in what ever you want to do, how’s that?” she offered and asks excitedly hoping he’ll by it
“The whole day, no whining, and we have to do what I want to,” he asks
Raine twitched at the sound of his sentence, did she really know what she was getting into
“Fine, its ok you can go out with you’re friends, or boyfriend or whatever don’t mind me I’ll just…” Ken began his speech.
He had always used his speeches to always get what he wanted. He knew Raine would always feel guilty and give in to his requests. He knew he was taking advantage of her weakness but he couldn’t help but do so…he looked so adorable with her guilty expression
Ken glanced at her for the last time before walking out of her room
Raine rolled her eyes and ran after him, “Fine, what do you want to do?” she asks
