Mrs. Lam forces her smiles at Charmaine trying to make her feel like she is wanted and liked. They take their seat at their table and Charmaine chose to sit across the table from Mrs. Lam because she is not so comfortable being alone with her.
A soft timid voice came from a short distance calling to Mrs. Lam. Charmaine turns her attention and sees a beautiful young woman with skin as white as snow, wearing an obviously overpriced dress. Mrs. Lam stands up to greet Linda and motioned her to sit beside her.
Charmaine tucked her chair in some more towards the table with the arrival of Linda, a girl who she only seen once. The plan for the day is suppose to be only Mrs. Lam and Charmaine but the unexpected appearance of Linda is obviously the doing of Raymond's mother.
"Charmaine your suppose to be my son's girlfriend but what makes you think you deserve my boy? What do you even like about him?" Mrs. Lam asked with a bitchy tone that Charmaine cannot stand. She so desperately wanted to answer but honestly can't find the words.
After a moment of silence from Charmaine, the same question is presented to Linda and she answered it with ease. Charmaine sits quietly with her head tilted down as she can plainly see that Mrs. Lam doesn't like her as much as she does Linda.
"Charmaine, do you actually think that you are a match for my precious son? You've only met for a short amount of time while Linda here, have been with Raymond since they were little kids. Leave my son, you two aren't a match. Actually your not a match for my son, Linda is."
It is in plain eye sight that Mrs. Lam turned this play date into a discussion of who is a match for Raymond. Each word Mrs. Lam says to Charmaine is like a tiny little dagger stabbing into her heart because Mrs. Lam just won't accept her.

The next thing on Mrs. Lam's daily routine list, is going to the spa. In a well spaced room with a big window where the sun can shine, both Linda and Mrs. Lam are laying on a massage table. The two chatting happily away, the door opens up and Charmaine marches in.
Mrs. Lam bursts into laughter upon seeing Charmaine, "dear your suppose to take off your clothes not leave them on. How do you expect these people to do their job with all that in the way?" Charmaine's face turns crimson red as she tries not to face Mrs. Lam.
"Old lady, why would Charmaine take off all her clothes to sleep? That is weird and this is not my room, I don't want to get naked." Charmaine expressed herself timidly. Mrs. Lam laughs hysterically at Charmaine and motions to Linda to laugh along, but she didn't do so.
"We aren't going to sleep Charmaine dear, we are just getting a massage, and it would work a lot better without the clothes getting in the way. How can you take care of my son if you can't even do that?" Mrs. Lam says as she rests her head back down.

The Lam's mansion door opens as Niki and Raymond are greeted. Niki runs around the living room searching for her sister when she is not in sight. Raymond calmed Niki down before she passes out from all the running she is doing. He simply calls Charmaine's name out and she comes running down from his room.
Charmaine leaps at Raymond giving him a hug, tighter than usual; Raymond can right away tell something is wrong. Mrs. Lam followed right behind her walking down the steps slowly with Linda by her side, "hi Ray." Linda greeted happily.
Charmaine hides behind Raymond as she wraps her arms tightly around his waist. Mrs. Lam approaches her son with a casual walk and smile, "hello dear how was work today?" Raymond held onto Charmaine's hand tightly as he asked what happened today.
Mrs. Lam dismissed that question by saying what they did and nothing of detail followed. Raymond can see through his mother and tell she is lying right away, "cut the crap mom. When Charmaine came and hugged me I can feel her distress, what did you do to her?"
Niki looked at Mrs. Lam angrily as if almost ready to kill someone, "what the hell did you do to my sister you old hag? I want to know now!" Mrs. Lam gasped at Niki's daring words, "how dare you girl say such thing to me! You apologize right now!"
"Enough of this, stop changing the topic and tell me what you did to Charmaine. I can tell she isn't happy right now." Mrs. Lam exhaled as she paces back and forth around her son and Charmaine. She gives off a light chuckle, "nothing I just took her with me and did my daily routine is all."
Getting tired of the circles his mother is going and not answering his question, Raymond takes Charmaine's hand and left for the door in a rage. Niki follows right after she stuck the middle finger up at Mrs. Lam, "old hag." She said clear enough for Mrs. Lam to hear.
"Oh Linda did you see the way Raymond and that Niki acted towards me? I am their elder, they should show some respect!" Mrs. Lam expresses in anguish. "Aunty you shouldn't stress over Ray's behavior and Niki's either. My interest is for Ray to have a happy life."
Mrs. Lam placed her hand on Linda's soft cheek and stroked it lightly, "Ray's happy life is to be with you. Don't you worry I'm going to get that son of mine to be with you one way or another."

Raymond lays in his bed lifelessly. On the outside he seems all happy and all, but on the inside he is fighting a hard fight. He is trying to settle everything with Nancy and let Charmaine know that what she has recorded is fake.
Deep into his thoughts the lights suddenly flicker off. He gets up from his bed and flips the switch a couple of times; when it did nothing he went outside to check on everything else. Raymond cursed under his breath for his bad luck.
Raymond goes down to the main lobby where a couple of the other residence gathered. He didn't even have to open his mouth and he got his answers from all the nagging and complaints the security guard is getting.
Returning back to his front door, he finds that the door is unlocked. He distinctly remembers locking the door before leave. Raymond opens the door with caution and peeks in, there is nothing but darkness surrounding him.
He turns his head towards the dinner table and sees a candle lit right in the middle and a simple meal set up for two. Suddenly out of no where, while his guard is still up someone screamed and leaped at him. Raymond throws the figure down to the couch.
Raymond demanded to know who the person is but when the figure came in contact with him, he knows it is someone he is familiar with. "Baby, its me! Nancy your girlfriend, your lover..." Said Nancy with obvious joy in her tone.
He relaxes his muscles as he stares at Nancy again, in the dark and in the living room. Nancy jumped at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissed him on his lips. Raymond pulled away from her as fast as he can and demands to know what she is doing.
"I thought since we haven't spent a lot of time together lately we can have a nice dinner together. Just the two of us lovers alone." Raymond exhales and takes a seat on the couch. He runs his fingers through his hair thinking of what he can say to make her understand that their relationship is over.
"Nancy please snap out of it. I've been through this and I think I've been more than clear. We are over, our relationship is over, you and I are over. Do you understand? I never wanted to hurt you but I have and I'm sorry. Let me and Charmaine be together okay?"
Nancy slides over next to Raymond and slaps him lightly across his chest with a childish pout. He looks at her thinking something is wrong, "are you okay?" Nancy giggles for no reason at all, "I understand completely, but I want to give us a second chance. I love you Raymond Lam, don't you love me back?"
Raymond shakes his head and says he won't fall for the same trick like last time. While the two were deep into their conversation the front door swings open and in came two figures. Raymond sighs as he tries to see who they were.
The word son echoed through out the room and into his ears and right at that moment Raymond slaps his forehead with his hand. Linda's voice can be heard as she jumps at Raymond and hugs him with all her might. In the dark they cannot see each other until they spoke and Nancy's voice booms right into the ears of Linda as she guessed who the voice belonged to.
"Nancy? What are you doing here? I thought you two broke up already." Nancy crossed her arms and walked up to Linda and got right in her face, "broke up? Not exactly. I'm here to have dinner with him, what are you doing here? Who is that old lady? Why did you just hug my Ray?"
Mrs. Lam looked at her son with confusion, "Ray who exactly are you involved with? First you tell me its that Charmaine girl now its a Nancy?" Upon hearing her sister's name being brought up Nancy exploded into rage, "Charmaine? You took her to see this old lady? Let me guess, she is your mother Ray? I'm suppose to meet your family not that sister of mine. Also what is Linda's relation with you?"
Raymond wanted to answer and express his feelings right then and there but never got a chance to as Mrs. Lam cuts in. "Yes I am Raymond's mother, so be more respectful. So I'm guessing your siblings are Niki and Charmaine? Your all a weird bunch. Nancy is it? If you want to know what Linda's relation with Raymond is you can ask me. She is my future daughter-in-law."
Raymond shoots her mother a angry and puzzled look. Linda smiles shyly as she plays with her hair. The next thing that came to the ears of everyone is a loud smacking sound as Nancy's palm connects with Linda's snow white cheeks.
Linda can feel a harsh stinging sensation on her cheek as she looks at Nancy angrily, "what was that for? You've lost your mind Nancy. I'm going to marry Ray not you, not Charmaine, not anyone else! Deal with it you crazy bitch!"
Mrs. Lam steps in before Nancy can counter Linda's disrespectful words. Raymond is left speechless as the fight between his childhood friend and his ex-girlfriend rages on and gets more violent by the second. "Nancy face the facts you've lost, your sister lost. Raymond belongs to Linda, you should just give up."
Niki and Kevin can be heard coming in from the hallway when they questioned why the front door is opened. The couple entered the house and finds a group of people standing in the middle of the living room fighting. Niki turns to Raymond for answers.
"Well you see, Nancy came into the house and tries to reignite our relationship. I then try explaining to her that we are over but still she keeps on going. Then out of no where my mother and Linda comes in; Linda comes and hug me and the fight begins. My mother says I'm going to marry Linda and don't say anything, not my idea."
Kevin looks at Raymond, "your in a lot of shit now man. You better figure this out now, tell your mom that you won't marry Linda, and tell Nancy you won't ever love her." Though those words were directed at Raymond, it is loud enough to be heard by Linda and Nancy.
"Shut up Kevin Ray will too love me!" Yells Nancy. "Hush up, my son will marry Linda." Assured Mrs. Lam. "ALL OF YOU SHUT UP! hollly! what is wrong with you people? What don't you all understand about, I won't marry Linda, I won't ever EVER love you Nancy? I only love Charmaine Sheh. Will you all just leave me alone and let me be with my girlfriend, and its not Linda, or Nancy okay?"
Raymond yells at the top of his lungs each and every word is clear and to the point. Mrs. Lam shocked by the language her son used and Nancy and Linda almost to tears by the words of Raymond. Niki and Kevin's jaw drops in amazement.
Raymond rushes out the front door and disappears from sight. Nancy looks at Linda and she did the same. The two exchanged stares so intense lightning is likely to appear.

hey hey hey! everyone i give you my DEEPEST apologies for not updating for wat? a half year? a year? i dunno anymore... i just got really lazy, n i have work lol, i STILL don't have summer yet! this coming week is my last as i have exams! arg! :( lol n wayz SORRY again and happy summer you all :) oh n enjoy :) yaya!
