Cae: she went in and looked for Michael. “Chef Michael, ready na?”
Chef Michael: “Yes ma’am! Konting garnishes na lang po!” he answered.
Cae: “Okay! I would like to have the special recipe for today for three!”
Chef Michael: “Yes ma’am!” he went back to work.
Cae: “Good.” She went out again.
Shin: “Ano bang espesyal ngayon at nagmamadali sa ma’am?” she asked him.
Michael: “Kasi… Yung kapatid niya… minsan lang dumalaw! Tsaka ang alam ko, boyfriend ata or fiancé niya ung isa pa… sino ba namang d ma-eexcite?”
Shin remembered something. He thought about the word “fiancé” ‘Haiiyzz… Hindi ko pa kayang bumalik!’
Michael: “Okay ka lang?” he snapped her out.
Shin: “Yah!... Uhmm… kailangan mo ng tulong? Mukha kasing maraming pinapagawa sa’yo si ma’am eh!”
Michael: “Hmm… Tutal special occasion to, ikaw na lang ang mag-serve sa kanila! At tutal hindi ka pa nakikilala nung kapatid tsaka boyfriend ni ma’am, kasi bago ka pa!”
Shin: “Okay! Ano ba iuuna?”
Michael: “Unhain mo yung pasta diyan.”
Shin: “Ito?” she pointed the pasta.
Michael: “Yup!”
Shin: “Okay!”
Michael: “Ay wait! Babae ka eh! Patulong ka na lang kay
Shin: “Ouch naman! Parang sinabi mo naman na mahina ako! FYI doctor ako noh! Baka nga takot ka sa dugo!”
Michael: “Hahaha! Ang pagkakaalam ko kasi, lakas ang ginagamit sa pagbubuhat ng tray! Hindi galing sa paggagamot! Hahahaha!”
Shin: “Hmmm…” she stopped and thought for a while. “Che!” she brought the tray.
Michael: “Hahahaha! Huy!”
Shin brought the tray outside the kitchen and looked for Ms. Cae. She searched for different people and found many guys staring at her, specially her body. ‘Dapat pala nakinig na lang ako kay Karen!’ but she didn’t mind them. She was just doing her job.
She searched for tables until she found Ms. Cae. She smiled and went to her direction which was covered by another waiter. She went there smiling slowly.
While walking, she was almost 12 feet away from them when the waiter standing went away and reveled who was the person Ms. Cae was talking to. Her hands were wrapped on his arms. She was indeed very happy to be with him. He also looks happy… with her.
Slowly her smile faded and slowly walked. “I-Ian…”. Without noticing, she didn’t know that there was a waiter walking to her direction then…
Ian’s side…
Cae: “Ian, guess what! Meron akong bagong assistant!”
Ian: “Why do I care?!”
Cae: “Hindi mo naman kasi aakalain na magtatrabaho siya dito no!”
Ian: “Sino ba?”
Cae: “Si-“ she was stopped by the noise she heard. There was a commotion happened not far away. Everybody looked. They saw broken plates, glasses, splattered foods, drinks.
Cae: “Wa-“
His browse furrowed. He slowly stood to see who the person was…
Shin: “Sorry!” she squatted and took the broken plates.
Waiter: “Sorry ma’am! Hindi ko po kayo nakita!” she helped her.
Shin: “Hindi… ako ang may kasalanan! When she touched the destroyed piece of glass, she twitched. Her middle finger started to bleed. When she looked at it, it has a small cut but hurts much.
She looked at the table where she was supposed to approach. But she didn’t see the particular person whom she knew. After a second, her hand was pulled by another hand. She sood and looked at the person. “Ian…”
Ian: he took his kerchief from his pocket andstarted wiping her blood…
