She looked at the table where she was supposed to approach. But she didn’t see the particular person whom she knew. After a second, her hand was pulled by another hand. She stood and looked at the person. “Ian…”
Ian: he took his kerchief from his pocket and started wiping the droplets of blood…
Shin: she didn’t speak. It’s been days when she last saw him. She was just staring at his gorgeous face.
Ian: she didn’t look at her eyes. He kept quiet and continued his action. He’s not mad at her… he didn’t know what to feel… but he knows he missed her… so much!
Shin remembered the reason why she left. She can’t go back where she wanted to escape. She pulled her hand back and ran to the kitchen.
Ian: “Shin!” he was supposed to follow her but Cae stopped him.
Cae: “Ian!”
Ian: “Ate?”
Cae: “Kilala mo siya?”
Ian: “Siya yung babaeng kinukwento ko sa’yo…”
Kitchen…
Shin went inside the hoard where their stock supply was kept. She sat on the corner. And held her finger where drops of blood leaked.
Shin: she was confused. “Anong ginagawa niya dito? P-Posible kayang siya yung tinutukoy nilang fiance’?” she was thinking when…. “SH*T! Nakalimutan ko na! Siya yung sinasabi niya sa ‘king fiance’ nung nagkwentuhan kami!” then she sighed. “Ngayon ko lang napatunayan na napakatanga ko….”
Michael: “Hmm… love life?”
Shin: she was surprised to see him backed up on the wall, supporting him. “Kanina ka pa?”
Michael: “Nope. Kakarating ko lang… kukuha sana ako ng konting ingredients when I heard you talking.”
Shin: “Haii…” she stood and went to him.
Michael: “Love life nga ba?”
Shin: “Pwede na?”
Michael: “Wag mo ngang problemahin yan! Want to take a break?”
Shin: “San?”
Michael: “Aha! I know a place!”
Shin: “Ngayon?”
Maichael: “Yah!” he held his hand to her. “Parehas nating break time ngayon”
Shin: “Fine!” He accepted his offer.
They went out the room hand in hand. Michael took off his uniform and hat. Again, hand in hand, they went out the kitchen.
Ian: “…di ko nga alam kung-“ he stopped and saw 2 people walking out… hand in hand… it was so tight that it twisted his heart. “S-Sino yon?”
Cae: “Hm?”
Michael held tight. He didn’t bother to care if SOMEONE sees them.
Shin: “San tayo pupunta?”
Michael: “Hm?... Basta…” they just continued walking.
After sometime of walking, they were outside the mall and crossed the street.
Michael: “Yung dati ho!” he ordered the man.
Shin: “Anu yun?”
Michael: “Ay manong! Isa pa po!”
Shin: “Ah manong! Ano ho ba yan?”
Manong: “Taho po ma’am!”
Shin: “Taho!”
Manong: “Oho! Mainit pa ho tsaka masarap!”
Michael: “D ka pa nakakatikim niyan?”
Shin: “Syempre oo! Healthy food… but… I never expected na ang isa sa mga pinaka-IN-DEMAND na Chef ay kumakain ng ganitong pagkain sa kanto…”
Michael: “Alam mo… tao lang din ako! Kagaya mo! Kung kumakain ka, kumakain din ako! Kung namamatay ka, namamatay din ako! Kung nasasaktan ka, nasasaktan lang din ako! At kung nagmamahal ka, nagmamahal lang din ako!”
Shin: “Oo nga noh? Haha!”
Michael: “Teka! Di pa ditto nagtatapos! May pupuntahan pa tayo!”
Shin: “San?”
They went to the tricycle lane and rode one.
Shin: “Ano to?”
Michael: “Dating successful business company na nalugi na…”
Shin: “Sayang naman…”
Michael: “Kaya nga hindi ako naniniwala na sinasabi nilang “always think positive”! ‘Cause you also might have to consider thinking the negative part that can end you success”
Shin: “Wow!”
Michael: “Haha! Tara na!”
They went in, to the rooftop and enjoyed the fine weather. Even though Shin was very tired of walking, her exhaustion wiped out when she spotted the very nice view.
Shin: “Wow! Ang ganda ng view!” while exhaling.
Michael: “Diba? Haha! Walang nakakakita sa magandang view nito! Dito ko kasi sinasabi lahat ng nararamdaman ko! Minsan nga sinusulat ko ung masamang nararamdaman ko tapos binabato sa malayong-malayo!”
Shin: “Effective?”
Michael: “Oo! Minsan nga nagwawala ako dito eh!... Wanna try?”
Shin: “Ha?”
Michael: “Kung gusto mong I-try? Liblib na lugar to! Walang masyadong dumadaan!”
Shin: “Ayoko!”
Michael: “Bakit? Nahihiya ka bas a ‘kin?”
Shin: “Uhmm… FYI lang po ha? Kanina lang kita nakilala! Hehe! No offense ha?”
Micheal: “Sa bagay… eh bat ka sumama ka sa ‘kin dito?”
Shin: “Eh-“ she stopped. She didn’t realize why? ‘Bakit nga ba?’
Michael: “See! Minsan ganyan talaga! Haha! Nararamdaman mo kung pinagkakatiwalaan mo ang isang tao! You trust me!”
Shin: “Confident ka naman masyado!”
Michael: “You don’t trust me? Kung hindi, bakit mo kinain yung tahong nabili ko sa kalye? Bakit ka pumasok sa building kasama ko kung saan walang masyadong tao na maaaring ikapahamak mo?”
Shin: “Fine! I trust you!”
Michael: “Haha! Then scream! Shout! Make noise!”
Shin: “Ah!” *EHEM* “Ahhh!!”
Michael: “Too short and too weak!”
Shin: “Ahhhhh!!”
Michael: “Not enough!”
Shin: “AHHHHH!!”
Michael: “Louder!”
Shin: “AHHHHHHH!!!!”
Michael: “Sige pa!”
Shin: “AAAHHHHHHHH!!!!”
Michael: “ILABAS MO!”
Shin: “AHHHHHHHH!!!!! BAT BA ANG HIRAP MONG KALIMUTAAAAANNN!? NAKAKAINIS KAAA!!! AHHHHHH!!!”
Michael smiled.
Shin was breathing in and out.
Michael: “You’ve done well.”
Shin smiled. “Thank you!...”
Michael noticed his uniform was stained with blood.
Shin: “Oops!” she showed her finger.
Michael: “Ok lang… ikaw naman maglalaba nito eh!”
Shin: “Hahaha!... HA?”
Michael: “Okay nab a yang daliri mo?”
Shin: “Anu pa’t-”
Michael: “I forgot! Doctor ka nga pala!”
Shin: “Buti na lang naalala mo!”
