"This is the 4th time you've been caught trying to escape and you only transferred here 2 days ago. Maybe you should give up?" Kim asked as I blew my frindge out of my eyes.
"Not going to happen, they can't keep me here against my will" I said as Yujin laughed.
"Do you think we'd still be here if they couldn't?" She asked as I sighed once again.
She did have a point.
I transferred to this school two days ago and they had no intention of eltting me leave.
I suppose I should tell you how I got pulled into this stupid annoying school in the first place.
Like many problems in my life I blame Yeonhee.
She was the one that suggested throwing a pool party in the first place event hough she couldn't swim.
I guess things got way out of hand and somehow Yeonhee managed to get herself thrown into the pool.
Me being the nice person I am began to panic about my friend who seemed to have no intention of coming back up above the water when suddenly my body started glowing.
You know, like when a light hits water it starts to glow slightly.
Yeah like that.
After a few seconds suddenly the water in the pool seperated to reveal Ayumi sat at the bottom of the pool coughing up water and soaked from head to toe.
After my Mom and Grandmother helped her out from the pool the water went back to its original state but no one seemed to notice.
Maybe because they were all too busy staring at me.
My Grandmother and Mom however didn't seem shocked in the least.
After telling everyone at the party to go home My Grandmother went straight on the phone to call someone while my Mom began packing my things for reasons unknown to me until the next morning 2 men who looked like they should be in a Men In Black movie came and took me away.
Once I got to this school I met Principle Choi.
He was a short plump man who looked around his mid-40's with a bawled head.
At first he seemed kinda nice and seemed to understand why I was so freaked out about what was happening to me but now he was just a pain in the ass.
Always stopping my escape plans from working.
Apparently this school was for people with special 'Gifts'.
Everyone who attended here had a special power inside of them, even me.
At first I didn't believe it but it's amazing how two days here can change a persons opinion.
I apparently was an elemental.
Meaning a person with power over an element.
Water to be presise.
Apparently Mr Choi was very happy that I had power over water.
I didn't understand until Lieying explained to me that people with power over elements had become extinct.
Spooky right.
So I was the only person in the world with a power like mine.
Mr Choi was apparently happy because Elementals are supposed to be one of the most powerful gifts you can get.
I wouldn't say that though after seeing what my friends can do.
First there was Kim.
She's 17,the same age as me but a bit older.
Kim had the power over creation.
Anything she drew on paper she could make reality which explains why we have a tiger as a pet in our dorm.
Yeah, Kim drew Yunhae as a nice tiger who doesn’t like to eat people which is why Mr Choi allows her to keep Yunhae here.
She just give him the excuse that Yunhae was a development of her power and he believed her.
Then there was the 3rd oldest after me, Lieying who was 16.
She can freeze time and people with the wave of her hand which sometimes really freaks me out because I don't know if she has froze me or not.
Then there was Yujin who's 15 who was blow things up with her mind.
The moment I met her and found out what her power was I told myself I was never going to get on her bad side.
Then there was the youngest also 15 but younger than Yujin by a few months, Heawon.
She can create forcefields at will but the weird thing is the forcefield can protect her but also reflect the power back at the person who aimed at her.
Yeah, that was it.
My 4 friends I had managed to make in the two days had been in this stupid school.
Each unique in their own way.
"Maybe we should get to class, Linzi you have Defence class with me and Haewon next" Kim informed me as I nodded slowly.
If I hadn't of gotten busted for trying to escape I would be half way home by now.
"Yes!, I love defence class" Heawon smiled happily as Yujin rolled her eyes.
"Of course you do, that's what being able to make forcefields are all about. Defence" She said as Heawon stuck her tounge out at her.
"Let's go, Miss Kim is usually late but she might surprise us one of these days" Kim said as Heawon nodded.
"We'll meet you both at lunch okay?" Kim said looking at Lieying and Yujin who both had control class now.
"Sure, have fun defending yourselfs" Yujin waved.
"Have fun controling yourself!" Heawon shouted back.
"That sounds wrong on so many levels" Lieying spoke up as we went our separate ways.
Once we got to class we walked in to see Miss Kim was as usual late.
I had had defence classes with her 3 times in the past 2 days and each time she had been late to lesson.
I took my seat next to Heawon as Kim sat at her desk infront bu turned around to talk to us.
"Did you practise?" Kim asked as I looked at her questioningly.
"Practise what?" I asked as Heawon shook her head.
"You're new so she won't let you do it but today all the class minus you have to go up against Miss Kim herself.
"What?" I asked as Kim nodded.
"She's been making us practise for this test for weeks, She's been stressing at me that I'll have to learn how to draw faster than ever before. Doesn’t she realize I could just draw somethings that could help me in advance?" Kim asked as Heawon shrugged.
"It's gonna be easy for me" She said as Kim rolled her eyes.
"Of course, you have forcefields. Whenever she trys to use freeze on you she'll end up an icecube herself" Kim said as Heawon grinned.
Apparently Heawon was at the top of her class in all her classes decpite being to youngest out of us all.
"Yah, watch out!" Someone suddenly shouted when Heawon turned to see an electricity ball come flying at her.
She instantly lifted her arms and a forcefield surrounded myself, Kim and Heawon.
The electricity ball bounce of the forcefield and went flying back at the guy who had shouted to us.
It hit him but didn't seem to have an effect.
Heawon put down her forcefield as Kim stood up.
"Are you insane?!" She shouted.
"Relax Kim, It's not like it hit you" The guy said as Kim rolled her eyes.
"Yeah thanks to Heawon, If she hadn't been here we would have been electracuted you jerk!" Kim snapped at the guy.
"Who's he?" I whispered to Heawon beside me.
"Oh right, That's Onew. He's one of the Kingka's in the school but he doesn’t come to class that often. He's the only person that can bring out this side of Kim" Heawon informed me as I watch Kim argue with this Onew person.
"What's his power?" I asked as Heawon laughed.
"You just seen it, he can produce electricity and use it in any way he likes" Heawon said as I nodded slowly,
"What's the big deal anyway?" Onew asked looking at Kim.
"The big deal is you could have killed us!" Kim snapped.
"But I didn't"
"You're so annoying" Kim said turning and walking back to her seat infront of us.
"Who are you?" A voice suddenly asked near my ear.
I spun around to see no one there.
"Eh?" I asked looking around.
"Taemin, don't scare her" Heawon said to no one when suddenly a boy appeared infront of us with his hair all out of place.
"Who'd you know it was me?" Taemin asked.
"Because I'm pshycic" Heawon said dully.
"No your not!" Taemin shouted out pointing his index finger at Heawon as she rolled her eyes.
I looked at Taemin questioningly.
"Linzi, this is Taemin. One of Onew's friends, he has the power of invisability" Kim said as I smiled at Taemin.
"Taemin this is Linzi, She has power over water" Heawon said as Taemin looked at me with a shocked expression on his face.
"Seriously?, but I thought they were extinct now" Taemin said as I smiled slightly.
"So I've heard"
"Attention class, I am here and as you all know today is the dreaded for me to test how stronger your defence has grown" A woman I knew as our defence teacher, Miss Kim walked into the classroom when I realized Taemin was no longer infront of us.
I looked around questioningly when I felt Heawon tap my sholder.
I looked at her to see her indicating to the back of the class.
I turned to see Taemin was at a desk next to Onew.
"Okay shall we begin, Kim. You're up first" Miss Kim smiled as Kim groaned and walked to the front of the classroom.
