Once we were sorted into teams I instantly regretted it once the game started.
I knew there was a reason that I hated gym class.
Of course this school played a different type of dodgeball.
Yeah, you still hurled the ball at a member on the opposite team to try get them out but in this school a bit of your power went into the ball while being hurled.
I hid behind Yujin who was on the same team as me as we both watched Jaejoong send the ball hurling at Lieying who was on the opposite team.
"Lieying!" Jonghyun shouted as Lieying spun to the ball that was heading at her at an abnormally fast speed.
She instatly threw her right hand up above her and the ball surprisingly froze in mid air.
"Eh?" I couldn't help but say.
"Lieying can freeze time and object remember?"Yujin asked looking down at me.
"But still, Lieying wasn't even paying attention how did she realize the ball was coming at her?" I asked.
"Simple, Jonghyun. He doesn’t have an active power but he read Jaejoong's mind before he got a chance to throw the ball. He had to be fast at reading Jaejoongs thoughts because Jaejoong can manipulate speed. In a way Jonghyun can tell everyone on his team who the bal is being aimed at so it's a tough team to beat" Yujin explained as I nodded slowly.
I wathced as Lieying smiled at Jonghyun and took hold of the ball that was still frozen right in front of her.
"Thanks Jaejoong" Lieying smiled innocently as Jaejoong surprisingly growled.
Lieying turned and smiled at Yujin.
"I knew it" Yujin whispered as Lieying sent the ball hurdling at Yujin and me.
Although there was no power in the ball Lieying threw she had a good arm.
I squiled went suddenly I felt something wrap around my waste and pull me out from behind Yujin.
Then a bagn was heard.
I looked up to see Changmin stood with his arm around my waist.
"Yujin. We only have one more ball!" Our coach whined as I turned to see what was left of the ball Yujin had just blew up.
"It's a reflex" Yujin shrugged.
I looked back at Changmin.
"When she explodes things they make a loud noise" Changmin shrugged.
"Oh thanks but can you let me go now?" I asked as Changmin nodded and unwrapped his abnormally long arms from around me.
I noticed once I was free Changmins arms were more than abnormal.
"I can stretch my body parts however way I like" Changin shrugged as his arms shrunk back to their normal size.
I nodded slowly.
So Jaejoong had power over speed and Changmin could stretch his limbs however he liked.
Why wasn't I more shocked at this news?.
"Linzi!" Yujin shouted.
I spun to see a new basketball flying at me with electrical change crackling out of it.
It was easy to tell who threw this ball.
Without thinking I instalty threw both my hands out infront of me closing my eyes in the process.
I waited for the ball to hit me but after a few seconds it didn't come.
I opened my eyes slowly to see the ball back to normal surrounded by a water bubble.
I let out a sigh of relief.
The water bubble then suddenly popped and the ball fell into my arms.
I looked at as Yujin give me a thumbs up.
I was a bit surprised though.
Water had always been weak against electricity.
It was the only thing that could separate water particals.
So how was my water power able to stop and destroy the electricity that Onew had put into the ball before he threw it at me?.
I shook my head as Yujin urged me to throw the ball back at someone on the opposite team.
I spotted Key who looked at me questioningly.
Obviously as stunned as I was about the incident that had just took place.
I lifted the ball over my sholder and slung it in the direction of Key.
I waited to see what the ball would do.
Would water soak him as it hit him?.
I waited when I suddenly saw something I never expected to see happen to the ball.
I looked at Yujin and Lieying whose eyes had widdened.
Luckily I had bad aim and the ball which had turned into a FIRE ball missed Key completely.
My jaw fell open as Key dropped to the floor in shock.
The couch ran to him along with everyone else on his team besides from Lieying who ran to me and Yujin who was already at my side.
"W-What just happened?" I stuttered pointing at Key when I noticed my fingers were shaking.
"We're not exactly sure" Lieying said softly.
I ran over to Key and our gym coach to see him frantically checking over Key.
"Who threw that ball?!" The couch shouted making me jump.
I took a swtep forward.
"That was me" I said softly shaking even more now.
"Why didn't you tell me your power is fire?, you could have killed him!" The couch shouted at me making me jump once again.
"I didn't know, my power isn't supposed to….I'm sorry" I said panicing as the couch helped a shocked Key up.
"Sorry wouldn't have been good enough if you'd have hit him. Class dismissed!" Couch said walking out of the gym hall with Key who was still slightly stunned.
I stood there in guilt.
I noticed some of the class giving me looks of disgust and fear.
I stood there subconciously.
I hadn't meant for that to happen.
"Hey are you okay?" Yujin asked walking over to me slowly with Lieying.
Lieying was about to put her hand on my sholder when I unintentionally flinched.
"I just want to be alone right now" I was running out of the gym hall.
I grabbed my things from the changing rooms and ran for the dorms.
Luckily gym was our last class for the day.
I just need to be alone.
I needed to think.
What was I?.
Was I turning into a monster or something even worst?.
