The next day.
Raymond was at Rain's apartment. They didn't talk. They just sat there, waiting for Jack Chung's call. They waited, waited, and waited....
"Oh! When is he calling?" Rain screamed suddenly.
"Rain, calm--"
"When is he calling?!" She screamed again. She putted her hand over her head, "When is he calling... When is he calling...." She chanted.
"Rain..." Raymond held her in the arms," Rain, calm down." They waited a couple of more seconds until Raymond's cell phone rang. Rain stopped chanting and looked up at him. Raymond looked at his pocket. Both of them were thinking the same thing: Why would Jack Chung call them at Raymond's cell phone? Raymond slowly took his cell phone out of his pocket and held it by his ear, "Hello?" He said firmly.
"Hurry up! The table's all cool down by now!" The person in the phone said.
"What?" Wrong number," Raymond sighed sadly. Rain looked really disappointed. Raymond noticed this and said, "Don't worry, that Jack Chung guy will call us soon."
Rain smiled, but frowned right away.
Raymond's phone rang again. They all looked stiff. Raymond looked at Rain and nodded, "I'm sure it is him this time," he held the phone by his ear, "Hello?"
"Hello Mr. Lam," Jacd Chung said evilly.
"Where shall Rain meet you?"
"You have the money?"
"Yes."
"In cash?"
"Yes."
"Goopd. You shall meet me at Joe's Garage. And I'm sure you know where it is?"
"Yes."
"Good Mr. Lam good. And also, not just Miss Li have to come..."
Raymond narrowed his eyes.
"... you have to come too."
"Why?"
Jack Chung hung up. Raymond sighed.
"So?" Rain asked desperately. "Where did he tell us to meet him?" Rain tugged on Raymond's sleeve.
"Joe's Garage."
Without another word, Rain grabbed the suitcase with the money and Ran outside like the speed of and arrow.
"Rain?! Wait for me!" Raymond ran outside with her.
Rain stopped in front of Raymond's car. She kept on tapping the car door. "Hurry up! Open the freaking car door!"
Raymond ran to the next door and opened it. Rain sat on the passenger seat and Raymond sat on the driver's seat.
"Turn it on! Turn it on!" Rain commanded.
Raymond did as told.
"Let's go!"
Raymond didn't push the accelerator. He didn't move.
"Raymond! What are you doing!" Rain screeched.
Raymond turned to face Rain, "Rain. Maybe we should call the police."
Rain's eyes widened, "Are you crazy?!"
"I--"
Rain didn't let him finish. She opened Raymond's door and pushed him out. She got on the driver's seat and drove past Raymond.
"Rain!" Raymond yelled.
At that same time, another car stopped by nest to him, "Raymond!" Frankie cried. "Hop in!"
Raymond opened the car door and went in. As he closed the car door, he said, "What are you guys doing here?" He looked at Frankie and Michelle.
"No time to talk," Michelle said, "and now FOLLOW THAT CAR!"
