Chapter 13
The End
The assignment they've been working on, involved big time drug dealers. The undercover agent had informed them that there will be a big dealing tonight at an old abandoned warehouse near the shoreline.
"Here's the stuff," said Gordon Lam, a big time drug dealer. He was one of the riches men in Hong Kong. The police and CIA have sespected him dealing with large amounts of illegal drugs but hasn't found any evidence yet.
"Here's your money," smerked Lawrence Ng, a respected commanding officer of the police department.
As soon as they exchanged suitcases, Jimmy yelled, "FREEZE, CIA," as he pointed his gun at Gordon Ruby was taking care of Lawerence. The gangsters were out numbered. As Jimmy handcuffed Gordon, Lawerence took out his gun without anybody noticing. Jimmy looked over at Ruby to check on her and noticed Lawerence's gun pointing at her. Jimmy got up and ran as fast as he could. He reached Ruby right before the trigger was pulled. He hugged her tightly.
The fire of a gun was soon heard. Everything happened to quickly, Ruby didn't have time to see what was going on. The last thing that happened was Jimmy slowly letting go of her and falling to the ground. Jimmy saved her.
Ruby quickly got by Jimmy's side and hugged him tightly, she cried, "JIMMY ARE YOU ALRIGHT? WHY DID YOU DO THAT? I"m not worth it."
"S..sure you are," Jimmy said. "I said I loved you and I meant it. I'll love you forever and always," with his last ounce of strength he kissed Ruby and fell unconcious.
"JIMMY! JIMMY WAKE UP! PLEASE WAKE UP!" Ruby cried.~END FLASHBACK~
Why was life so cruel her! Why did it have to take away evryone she loved. First her biological parents, second her grandma, then Nicholas, then her parents and now Jimmy. "Why was I put into this world? Was it so that I can suffer," she asked herself.
Ruby ran over by Jimmy's bed, held onto his hand and begged, "Jimmy, I know you can hear me. Please wake up. Please I'm begging you, Jimmy. I really do love you. I'm sorry I pushed you away, I truly am sorry. I was afriad of loving you, I was afraid of being hurt. But I now know you'd never hurt me. Jimmy I've alway's loved you. I can't loose you now, you're too important to me now. Jimmy you hear me?"
Still there was no response, from him. Ruby began crying. Suddenly she felt someone's hand patting her back. She looked up, Jimmy was smiling down at her. Ruby immediately jumped up and hugged him. "You're okay! You scared me half to death! Don't you ever do that to me again you hear me?" Ruby ordered.
"I promise," smiled Jimmy as he returned her hug.
Outside were their four friends Vicki, Alec, Edison and Gigi, they all said it at once, "Awwwwwwww, look at the cute couple!"
"See honey I told you Jimmy liked Ruby," Alec announces proudly.
From then on Jimmy and Ruby became inseperatable. They soon got married the following year. They had a little baby boy and named him, "Nicholas."
