Chapter 1

Friends

"The prince kissed her on the lips and she woke up. They rode away on the horse back to the castle and lived happily ever after."
Sammi closed the book. Sammi's favorite fairy tale was Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. She hopes one day, her prince charming will come just like Snow White. But its just all a dream but Sammi would day dream about it everyday. Even all her friends are tired of it.
"Earth to Sammi! Knock out of it!" Cecilia screamed waving her hand in Sammi's face.
"Huh? Hey!" Sammi slapped Cecilia's hand. Cecilia took her hand down and rubbed it, "Ouch! Did you have to do that? It hurts! You were off in fairy land again..."
"yah, whatever. Where's Richie?" Sammi asked looking around in the cafeteria.
"Umm.. the music room doing something. Playing with the drums again I guess. He always think he is a rock star or something. OH pleez...." Cecilia said giggling.
"Who cares.. You'll never know if he will become one. Just let him dream a lil more. We're used to it anyway. And besides, you can't tell a book by its cover." Sammi said laughing along.
"Shhh....here he come." Cecilia said putting on a serious face.
"hey ladies!" Richie said in a cheerful tone.
"oh pleeezzz... so, what have you been up to?" Sammi asked.
"I wrote this new song. You want to hear it?" Richie asked.
Cecilia and Sammi got up and walked away in a rush. “Umm.. maybe later. By Rich!" Sammi called back walking away.
"Fine! Be that way! You'll regret it!" Richie called out.

Sammi and Cecilia slowed down and walked towards Kristy's locker. "Hey Krissy!" Cecilia called out. Kristy turned and saw them walking towards her. "Hey!"
"I think Rich needs you right now to listen to his so call new song." Sammi said laughing.
"Oh gosh, his songs ain't that bad though." Kristy said with a sweet smile.
"You're the only one who thinks that way. No wonder you're his girl." Cecilia said.
They all laughed.

Then they were interrupted by Sammi's cell phone ringing.
"Hold on." Sammi said and went into her bag and took out her cell phone.
"Hello." Sammi said.
"Hey what’s up hottie?" Nicholas coughed.
"Oh shut up Nic! Grow up!" Sammi yelled.
"OK, serious now. um.. me moving with my buddy into the house next to yours this Sunday." Nic said.
"So?" Sammi asked.
"So> That’s a good questions. Of course I want you to held me move! You're not weak are you?" Nic laughed.
"What? But I'm a girl. I'll probably break my nails!" Sammi laughed.
"Oh, enough with the exaggeration coz. I don't care. You just have to come. I gotta go work now. Latez." and Nic hung up.
"How rude!" Sammi said dashing the phone back into her bag.
"What happened?" Kristy asked.
"Nic expects me to help him move. Oh god! I think its time we call for help. Can I burrow your boyfriend this Sunday Krissy?" Sammi laughed.
"Sure! Take him. But I'm coming along." Kristy answered.
"Hey, I'm not gonna bite him k?" Sammi laughed.
"No, just curious how your coz looks." Kristy said.
"Yah, heard he's real cute." Cecilia added.
"Him cute? haha!" Sammi laughed.
Then Richie came walking down the hall. Sammi ran up to him and gave him a sweet smile. Richie knew something was up when she does that because they were friends for over 10 years already.
"What now?" Richie asked groaning.
"See... who knows me the most... of course my greatest friend Richie here." Sammi said still smiling.
"Oh stop it. Enough of the sweet talk. What do you need help on now? For which class?" Richie asked curiously.
"Umm.. you see Nic.. wells, he is moving on Sunday and.." Sammi started.
"And you need me to help you move." Richie finished.
"yah pleez.. Richie.." Sammi nagged.
"OK sure, but you have to listen to my new song."
"OK, whatever you say." Sammi gave Richie a big hug and ran of with Cecilia laughing.

"She sweet talked you again Richie." Kristy said shaking her head.
"Yes, I know but I don't know how I even fall for it every time. Its been 10 years now."
Then Richie continued, " Hey, I wrote this new song about you and me."
"Really? Anything else?" Kristy asked.
"Yah, this other song for Sammi. It has something to do with her day dreaming and snow white..... its been 10 years and she is sill day dreaming about it."
