The Song and Dream
Ever since Sammi was in a comma, Andy didn't go to work. Everyday, he would go to the hospital to visit Sammi with a dozen of Stephanotis. He bought those flowers because Andy thinks Sammi is as pretty and as pure as it. In the morning and night, he would visit Sammi and in the afternoon, he would go look for Brother Nine. He thinks that it was his fault he didn’t catch Brother Nine in the first place and bring him back to the station. Then one night, Richie went into the room and sat down beside Andy, Richie handed Andy a cassette tape. "What is this for?" Andy asked. I recorded the song I wrote for Sammi. Its on the tape. Play it to her. The song is about Snow White. The silly girl, ever since she was 6, she thinks one day, her prince charming will come and kiss her and then take her back to his castle."
"Really?"
"She days dream about it almost everyday."
"Thanx. I'll play the cassette everyday."
Then Richie left. The next day, Andy placed a cassette player beside Sammi's head and he played the cassette Richie gave him last night. The song was nice and slow. A creative piece of music Andy thought. The song was relaxing and it was like a lullaby. Then Andy drifted off into a sleep......
He dreamed that he was riding a horse in the forest and he came along 7 little men with a coffin in the middle. In the middle, there laid Sammi. He got off the horse and went over to the coffin. He kissed Sammi and Sammi woke up.
Then Andy woke up from a loud call, “Excuse me Sir wake up sir."
Andy woke up. It was a nurse. "yes?" Andy asked.
"Mrs. Change is having some problem here. Can you please leave the room for the doctor to check please. Andy went out of the room. He called Nic to come. Nic came running down the hall. "What wrong with Sammi?" Nic asked trying to catch his breath.
"I don't know. I was sleeping and the nurse woke me up and told me to get out of the room." Andy said.
They waited for 10 minutes and then the doctor came out.
