A Hint?
Andy and Nic ran up to the doctor. “What’s wrong doctor?” Andy asked.
“We tried our best..” the doctor started. “Oh No!” Andy said.
“What wrong? I’m not done talking yet.” The doctor continued. “Say earlier. You just scared us there. So she is fine right?” Andy said.
“Not quite.” The doctor answered.
“You just said she was fine a second ago.” Andy said.
“No, I never said that. I meant I tried my best. She hasn’t past her most dangerous part yet. If she passes tonight, then we can still keep her life until she finally wakes up. But if the opposite happens, I’m sorry.” And the doctor walked away.
“Hey! Where are you going! What are talking about? You’re the doctor! Come back and cure her! Come back here!” Andy yelled down the hall. Andy was about to run after the doctor when Nic grabbed him. “Chill..” Nic said with his watery eyes.
Andy punched the wall and slipped down to the ground crying with his head down. Nic walked over and tapped Andy on the head. “Andy, its not your fault. Why do you have such a big reaction? You don’t even know my cousin yet.” Nic asked.
“But… but.. it was my fault.” Andy said putting his head up. “No one said it was your fault. Don’t put so much pressure on yourself. You like Sammi?” Nic asked.
Andy froze and stood up.
“I..I.. I don’t know. I just feel sympathy for her. I don’t know. I just don’t feel comfortable until I know she is fine.” Andy muttered.
“OK, what you need to do right now is go home, take a shower, and eat and get some rest. I’ll stay here with her. You can come by later. Come at around 4:00 am k?” Nic asked.
“Why 4:00 am and not 5 or 3?” Andy asked.
“Because I have a date with Cecilia tonight. Cecilia is going to design this dress for Sammi when she wakes up. Just to surprise her. Since she likes Snow White so much and we’re going to relax a bit because so many things happened.” Nic said.
“You’re going out with who? Since when? I’m your buddy and I don’t know about it.”
“Cecilia is Sammi’s bestfriend. I met her a week ago. She’s pretty, sweet, cute, talented and I just like her. I didn’t tell you because you have been so busy visiting my cousin and looking for Brother Nine so I couldn’t tell you. Does that answer all your questions?”
“Hey, you didn’t have to give me such a long explanation but I got the point. Well, bye.” And Andy left the hospital feeling real tired and miserable. When he got home, well not his but Nic’s, he took a shower, ate some Chinese noodles and went to sleep. The weird thing was he had the same dream as the dream he had in the hospital. The one about Sammi being Snow White. *Is this a hint or something?* Andy thought.
