After Nic left, Andy sat there thinking about his dream. He went over to Sammi’s bed and grabbed her hand. He gripped it tightly. Then his heart started to beat real fast. He tried to stop it by hitting his chest but it was no use. So he let go of Sammi’s hand and it stopped beating fast. Then he grabbed her hands again and it started to beat fast. Andy ignored the beating and stared at Sammi. “Wake up Sammi. Your prince charming is here. I’m prince charming. Prince Andy here. Wake up.”
Andy whispered. Sammi didn’t move at all. She just laid there. Then Andy thought about the dream. He thought *Is the only way to wake Sammi up is to kiss her? But, how can reality be the same as fairy tale land.* He just kept thinking and thinking. He watched every inch of Sammi’s face. *She had the prettiest eyes and her lips* Andy thought. Then he leaned over and kissed Sammi. The kiss lasted for about 5 seconds. Then Andy could feel Sammi’s finger moving slowly and she opened her eyes a little, just enough to see Andy. He saw a blurry vision of him and it was the same man who held her in his arms when she got hit. Andy felt it and he immediately ran out of the room and called the doctor.
While Andy was waiting outside, he called Nic and told him to come to the hospital. Again, Nic came running down the hall but this time with Cecilia. They came running down the hall hand in hand. “What happened?” Nic asked.
“Um… her fingers started to move so I called the doctor.” Andy said with is head down. He felt bad about what he did. Kissing someone that he doesn’t even know that well.
Then the doctor came out but this time, his head wasn’t down. “She’s fine.” The doctor said. “So will she be able to move like she used to?” Nic asked.
“Yes but it takes time. She needs to do therapy.” The doctor answered and then walked away. Cecilia was so happy, she ran into the room to see Sammi.
