I banged on Doctor Yu’s door with hesitation. I know it’s wrong to do that, but I really need to see him now.
“Doctor Yu, Doctor Yu are you in there” I screamed through the door.
“Ok, Ok you don’t have to make all that noise” I heard a grumpy voice coming from inside said.
In a few more seconds the door swung wide open. Inside lies all of these bottle of different shape. Inside those bottle are liquid of different colours.
“Can I help you” Doctor Yu said as he offered me inside the room.
“Um I was just wondering if you have finished with the cure for Michelle Yip” I asked looking scared since the room look pretty dark.
“Finished, I haven’t even started. I’ve told you before Michelle’s disease is a rare and uncommon. The blood cells in her body act really weirdly to the disease and I’m not really sure how to cure it.” doctor Yu answer angrily as he take another look at his microscope.
“But you know that she’s running out of time”
“Well….” Doctor Yu said looking up at me with this scary look causing me to moved back a little “ You really want Michelle to live right?”
“Yes” I murmured moving back against the wall to support myself. For some reason the look on Doctor Yu is telling me he’s not doing anything pleasant.
“So you have to help me out by making me happy then”
Making him happy, what is he talking about? I looked at his cheeky face which I’ve never seen before then thought of Michelle. She really need this cure. I have to do it then. It might be the only way.

6: 30 pm
[Michelle]
Six thirty pm, it’s almost time to go. I sighed deeply as I walked over to fetched Raymond another glass of water. With each step I could feel that the pain inside is getting more severe. I don’t know how much longer I could hold this up.
“Mich…Mich…” Raymond called with a tone that sound a little bit worried.
I’m not sure if he have counted down to this but it seems like he’s knowing that I’m going to leave soon.
“Coming Raymond” I tried to play along to this game. It’s just like a game since we are both not talking about it but inside we know that it’s going to happen. That’s the only way to reduce the worry inside each other.
“Here you go….one glass of ice hot water” I said as I sat down onto the bed.
“Ice hot…is that one of your new inventions?”
“a Huh” I nodded with this I-know-it-all look.
“Ok then I will really enjoy it then”
I smiled and look up the at the television to get my mind of things.
“Oh that’s the last bit of “lofty Water Verdant Bow”. It’s so sad hey” I said feeling sorry for the main Actor in the story.
“Yeah, but it’s that guy fault for letting her go.” Raymond turned around to me and got hold of my hand. “Don’t worry Michelle, I will never let you go like that stupid Character in the story.”
“Raymond..” I didn’t know what to say beside that. I was touch by his words once more.
We both looked at the TV again since no more words appeared in our heads. The Main Actress dies in the end. Oh the Main Actor seems so sad. I wonder if Raymond will be like that when he saw me die. Will I die in his arms like that girl.
Two little drop of salty tears run down my cheeks as I look at the two couple floated out to sea. They love each other but couldn’t be together. Could the same thing happen to me.
“Michelle don’t be like that. It’s just a story that someone make up. It will never happen in real life. People who truly loves each other will forever be by each other’s side” He smiled at me as he wiped of those tears.
I have nothing else to say but nodded at those words. I really hope that he’s right.
