=====[NEW]=====

There was a reason why this town was called Moonlight. As the sun begins to set, and the darkness will devour everything in its path as night falls into place… anyway that you can predict, it’s always a full moon above in the night sky. The silver-white moonlight shines down onto the town, giving the signal that it was safe to come out of your shell; where the immortals finally emurge from the shadows.

Tonight would be much different. The vampires lurked in the shadows as they saw a car pull into the town, and two mysterious humans came zooming by. They force themselves not to pounce, as the smell from them as the windows were pulled down drove them into overdrive. One vampire wanted to see up close and personal who these people are.

Kevin extended his finger and pointed at the house. “There! That’s number 124 over there.” Katie looked over his shoulder and also saw the loomy dark house, casted with the silvery moonlight from up top. She sighed as she parked the car into the driveway and stepped out. She slammed the car door, when a icy cold breeze brushed past her neck, sending goosebumps running up and down her spine. She jumped and turned around, but no one was there, and there wasn’t any breeze in the air.
Kevin looked at his sister for a slight moment, wondering why she looked so disturbed, but shook it off as he went around back to get the suitcases. Katie, who finally snapped out of her little world, walked over and helped.
They stepped up the little staircase to the patio, and walked over to the dark black front door. Katie pulled out the house key from her pocket, and slowly dived it into the slot…

“Why, hello there.”

Both Katie and Kevin jumped and yelped out loud, swirling around to see a young man about Katie’s age, just a bit older. He gave a dazzling smile, catching Katie’s attention. She looked at him, horrified and baffled, at how he could appear without her hearing.

“W-Who are y-you?” Kevin stuttered, holding onto his sister’s arm cautiously. Out of nowhere, a slight breeze brushed against Katie’s locks of hair, and the breeze took her scent to the gentleman, blurring his mind. He took a breath, and held it, not wanting to loose control on the new people.

“I am just here to be a good citizin, and come over if you guys need any help looking around the town of Moonlight?”

“That’s what this place is called?” Katie asked. The mysterious, good-looking man nodded.

“Why yes, it is. This place is a very… splendid place to live. Though, you should watch your back. There’s nothing you could do to change whatever lurks around here… Be careful… you never know if someone could be right behind you and you didn’t know. You could even die within 10 seconds…”

Kevin gripped onto Katies arm tighter. Katie looked at the guy, narrowing her eyes. She first looked down at Kevin, and placed her hand on his head, patting it. Then she looked up to give the man a piece of her mind, scaring her little brother like that, but she gasped silently as he was nowhere to be seen. She walked over to the ledge, looked up the side of the road, then down the sidewalk… he was gone.

“K-Kate… w-what did that g-guy m-mean..?”

She turned around and scurried over to her only 14 year old brother, a boy that might act tough, but he can be scared of the most littlest things; but this was definitely not a very ‘little’ thing to be scared of.

“It’s okay, Kevvy… just… let’s just get inside before the breeze picks up.” Kevin ran over to his suitcases, and raced inside the house. Katie, cautious as she looked around, went over to pick her suitcases up and trotted inside. She locked the door, and that’s when the man appeared once more on her patio.

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

“Hyung… they are humans.” The young Seung Hyun said, his eyes turning into the hunger of amber brown. The older Seung Hyun gave him a look of ‘Stay-In-Your-God-Damn-Place-Or-Else’ and he retreated back to the couch immediately.

Ji Yong was looking out the window, breathing in the air outside. Sure enough, there was a different scent in the air… but out of all the human scents that he had detected, he never smelt anything so… natural. All the other girls always had a scent of expensive perfume and all those other lethal foundations, but this scent was much more pure to the skin. Something that threw it off must’ve been the smell of her hair. But her flesh was very much strong. He smiled to himself as he pictured how this girl might look like, went his fellow roommate tapped him on the shoulder.

“What?”

“She’s coming to our school, you know that right?” Young Bae stated. Ji Yong staying in his exact place just nodded, as he continued to look at the bright, silver moon in the night’s sky.

“There’s another human… a boy.” Seung Hyun voice boomed to life as he summerged from nowhere. Then, the always smiling Dae Sung comes into the room, with a slight confused expression on his face.

“Siblings?”

“Most likely.” Seung Ri, the little Seung Hyun, stated as he continued to type away on his laptop against his lap. Ji Yong finally turned his head to look at Seung Ri and questioned him with,

“What do you have?”

“I tracked her down. Her name is… Katie Nguyen. Vietnamese. 18 years of age. Has a little brother, which is what you scented TOP-hyung,” signalling to Seung Hyun with a look away from his laptop.

“She’s vietnamese? Wow, never met anyone like them before… that would be a different taste…” Dae Sung muttered. Ji Yong was in his face the split second he said ‘taste’.
“Don’t you DARE.” Ji Yong’s voice roared, a deep grumble started in his throat. Dae Sung immediately backed away, putting his hands up in surrender.
Young Bae, who was standing in the corner of the room, forrowed his eyebrows at Ji Yong. “You care for her already? You don’t even know who she is.”

Ji Yong then turned around to face Young Bae and smirked. “Her scent… it’s so familiar.”

“Maybe you just met her somewhere out of town, and now she’s back.” Seung Ri said, still reading over some of the information on his little laptop.

“No, it’s just her scent is just so---”

“Her parents were murdered a year ago. The police had found their bodies in a nearby forest near their home, and they were shredded to pieces. They kept it from them for about a month, until the brother found out and broke the news to his sister.” Seung Ri said.

“And how do you get this information?” Dae Sung asked on the couch now, crossing his arms.

“I hacked into the government’s site, and go into the files of all the people in this country. Simple as that.”

“What else?” Ji Yong said, fully interested on this girl already. “What does she look like?”

Seung Ri shook his head as he began pressing some links, but ended up back to where he started. “I guess the government has a personal drawer for pictures of everyone in this country, hyung.” Ji Yong slightly frowned, but shook it off. He glided over to the open window, but her scent was gone.

“She’s inside her house, wherever it is. She’s safe from the others… For now.” Young Bae said, standing beside Ji Yong in half a second. Ji Yong nodded, knowing that even if every vampire is a High Class one, anyone can loose control of their instincts when a human is face to face with them.

“Say…” Dae Sung said from the back of the room. “…can someone do my homework?”

The morning sunlight streamed through the wide windows, causing everything to shine to life. Kevin slowly went inside Katie’s room, to see her asleep ontop of her suitcase. Kevin slightly smiled at his sister’s carelessness of over working herself just to unpack her belongings. Kevin went over and sorted out the rest of her clothes and other stuff on top of her bed in neat piles. His stomach grumbled as he remembered that they forgot to buy food to eat. He groaned as he started to nudge his sister awake.

“Sis… Sis! What’s for breakfast?”

Katie groaned, then fell on the ground as she fell over the suitcase and opened her eyes. “How did I…” She looked over to her bed, and saw the piles, then up at Kevin who smiled slightly.

“You shouldn’t have overworked yourself, Katie.”

“Yeah yeah yeah…”

“By the way.. we need to food to live you know.”

“OH CRAP! I FORGOT!” Katie quickly ran inside the bathroom and washed her face. She took a brush and brushed her hair slightly as she ran down the stairs, grabbed her wallet on the front table and left the house with a “DON’T ANSWER THE DOOR NO MATTER WHAT” to Kevin. She slammed the door behind her, took the house key and locked it, and started to go down the patio… when she realized she had no idea where the store was. She looked up the street, and there were some stores that she figured out. Might as well give it a try, she thought.

As she was walking, she felt like someone was watching her. She turned around, but of course no one was there. She started to feel like she was paranoid ever since that man appeared…

She walked inside the first store, and it was deserted… there was nobody, but the door was wide open, and the store was full on food.
“What if someone came in and robbed the place? Sheesh, these people really are careless…” Katie muttered under her breath. She started to go up and down the aisles, grabbing foods that her and Kevin might need for a week or two. She finally got everything she needed, and STILL nobody around. She went over to the cashier’s place, counted over the things she bought and the amount of price… and calculated in her head. She added the tax, and set the money down on the counter.
“Keep the change.” She said as she stepped out with bags she took from under the counter. She started walking up the sidewalk when she saw 5 silouettes in the distance. She widened her eyes as she realized they were all 5 teen guys, who were all so dazzlingly gorgeous. She looked down, and pulled her baseball cap on her head lower. As she continued to walk, she didn’t see them pass her. She looked up, and nearly screamed out loud as she was face to face with them. She dropped her bags on the ground, but one of them swiftly caught all of them within a second. Katie blinked, looking at him in astonishment.

“Here you go, better not drop that again, or something might break.” He said, handing the bags over to Katie, who without a word, bowed and took the bags. She looked at them all secretly, and found out that they all looked so young. The one that helped her out seemed to be the youngest. But what surprised her was how pale they looked… and how their eyes seeming to be such a different shade of dark brown, even black as coal.

“What are you looking at?” The one with a black cap on said. He seemed to be the shortest one, but definitely not the youngest. She bowed in apology.

“I’m sorry… it’s just… I’m new, and I do tend to get curious at times for my own good…” She said nervously as she felt her hands shaking.

“Well, it’s good to be curious at times. My name is Dong Young Bae.” The one in the cap said. Katie slightly smiled as she bowed.
Then the others introduced themselves as followed: Dong Young Bae, Kang Dae Sung, Lee Seung Hyun, Choi Seung Hyun and Kwon Ji Yong. They all had nicknames that they called each other, but Katie was a very formal type girl, so she called them by their real names, giving herself difficulty with her pronounciation.

“And you are?” The smiling one, Dae Sung, asked. Katie smiled as she said, “My name is Nguyen Katie, and I’m new around here. Hopefully you 5 can help teach me and my little brother around here, since I know that all 5 of you are nice people.”
The 5 laughed as Katie blushed slightly. Ji Yong, who didn’t talk at all except for when he introduced himself, uncomfortably froze as he saw her blush. He bit his lip from saying the words, “You look so cute when you blush.”

“Well, I better get going. My brother is probably dying from hunger. Oh, almost forgot… what’s the nearest school from here?”

“That would be Moonlight Acadamy of the Arts.” The younger Seung Hyun stated. Katie nodded as she thanked them and was off. The second she turned around, the boys let go of their breath they have been holding in.

“Man, I smelt her scent once while talking and I almost lost it.” Young Bae stated quietly. The others nodded slightly, then turned to look at Ji Yong… whose gaze was still on Katie, walking away.

“Yo, let’s go.” Ji Yong snapped out of it, and joined the guys, walking casually down the sidewalk to their campus of a school.
