Darkness…
Where was he?
Hands and legs were tied with some sort of… metal? And he was blindfolded. What was going on, and where was this place?
“What do you want with me!?” He yelled out, getting a kick in the stomach as a response; a kick that sent him flying backwards, hitting the hard brick wall. He groaned as he tried to get up, but that’s when he heard that menacing laugh.
“Goodness, Young Bae, is this the way you treat me when I come back to visit you?”
“That voice…” Young Bae muttered to himself. “HYUNG?”
“Eh hey hey! You finally acknowledged me this time. What’s up lil’ bro?”
“Dong Jin Bae… finally back after 150 years huh?”
“Hey, lil’ bro… I didn’t want to leave you back then…”
“But you did… you left me to DIE because of the venom running through my system… but guess what? The venom was strong enough to turn me into a monster.”
Jin Bae, just known as Jin, snorted. “As if. You know, being a vampire isn’t that bad as I thought…”
“SHUT UP, JIN.”
“Yo, I’m the older one here, pay some God damn RESPECT.”
Another blow to the stomach that got Young Bae’s head slamming against the brick wall. It caused him to black out a bit before coming back a few seconds later. That’s when he felt hands behind his head after a command from his brother.
His vision cleared up as light streamed through his eyes. He slightly squinted as a dark figure formed in front of him… when he realized it was his brother’s figure in the way of the lights above him.
“Sorry ‘bout that, man. My bad.”
Hearing the smirk and mockery in his voice, Young Bae wanted to kill his own blood brother even more.
“What are you doing here?” Young Bae asked coldly, glaring at his older brother. He smiled.
“Eh, can’t I come visit once in a while?”
“Get to the point, genius.”
“Sheesh, pay some respect! But I came because I heard news that… there’s some new girl in town.”
Young Bae stiffened on the ground as he clentched his teeth. ‘He didn’t hear about Katie… that’s not the girl he’s talking about.’ Young Bae thought to himself.
Jin smiled even more. “Is she pretty? Apparently, word has it that you tried to make her yours, but you failed miserably… and that guy, what was his name…? Oh yeah, Ji Yong! He came and saved the day… damn it, Young Bae, what’s with you? Can’t even do something so simple and actually succeed for once?”
Young Bae clentched his teeth even tighter. He shut his eyes closed, hoping to God that Jin didn’t make his men hunt down Katie.
“What’s wrong, Bae? Thinking of how you SHOULD’VE did it right?” The mockery in his voice returned for a second round. Young Bae shot his eyes open and glared murderously at his older brother.
“Don’t hurt her.” He simply said.
Jin rolled his eyes. “As if. I don’t hurt humans, you know that since long ago.”
“Just don’t f*cking touch her.”
“Sure, sure.”
“Jin, I’m God damn serious.”
“So am I.”
That was that. The conversation ended with Jin saying that he was dead serious, with a smile on his face, and receiving only a glare from Young Bae. Young Bae struggled to sit up, but with the slightest help from Jin’s powers, he was able to. Young Bae knew that he wouldn’t be leaving his brother’s sight in a while, so he hung tight and prayed that nothing would happen to Katie and that she was safe and healing.

‘Scared to love me…?’ He thought to himself. His eyebrows forrowed as he realized that she was just dreaming, or having a nightmare. She couldn’t be dreaming about him… but she just said his name from earlier. And she said ‘saranghae’.
“Aish…” Ji Yong muttered crossly, shutting his eyes shut as the dizzyness came back. It blocked out his vision for a moment, but when things started to calm down, he lifted his head upwards again.
That’s when the hazelnut brown eyes that he dearly loved to look into gazed at him through wide eyes. “Ji… Yong?” She whispered, straining her voice, as if she was still in terrible pain.
Ji Yong stiffened as he sat up straight, and stared at her. She was wide awake as of that moment, but everything seems to be still a daze to her, as her words aren’t completely clear.
“Hey… Katie, are you feeling okay? You were… muttering to yourself. Did you have a bad dream?” Ji Yong asked, sounding as innocent and as worried as he could. Don’t get him wrong, of course he was worried, but he wanted to see her reaction to things…
Her eyes widened even more, her face paled. “You didn’t… hear anything… did you?”
“Oh…” Ji Yong replied. “Uh… no…”
Katie on the other hand knew better. Her lips turned into a slight frown as her eyes gazed upon his face. His jaw line was perfect, his cheek bones were valid, his eyes were mesmorizing and his voice tops everything off, but how come he even has the urge to LIE to her? She knows a lot about vampires so far from experience…
“You heard everything didn’t you?” She asked, flat and serious. It caused him to jump slightly.
Ji Yong embarrassingly scratched his head. “Hehe… I guess… so…”
Then, Katie laughed, which was something Ji Yong never heard in a long, long time. It was pure music to his ears. It made him smile himself.
“Why did you lie? You don’t think I’m embarrassed myself?” She said, her blushing clearly rising towards her cheeks.
“Eh… I didn’t take much notice of it… I mean, sure, I heard everything, but I’m confused on why… you were dreaming about me?”
Her smile faded a bit, and she looked down at her hands. She stayed silent.
Ji Yong turned his head to the side, catching her biting her lips, a sign of awareness about her crush on him. It made him smile to himself as he placed his hands against her chin, perking her head upwards.
“Don’t be shy. Say it.”
Her eyes wondered the impossible glint of affection against his. His gaze turned a slight lighter brown, and his heart would’ve started beating once again at that moment when he saw her lips curve into a beautiful smile before she said what she wanted to say…
“Saranghae…”

Kevin figited in his seat slightly, catching Shi Yin’s attention. She turned her head towards him, catching his eyes on her. He looked away immediately, turning a slight pink.
A smile trapped her lips and her laughter bottled up, when she realized that this little guy might have a slight crush on her. ‘Oh dear…’ She thought to herself.
“Kevin?”
Kevin’s head snapped up to his voice, looking at the eyes of Shi Yin first, then at Seung Ri. He nodded, asking what was up. Seung Ri smiled.
“You okay?”
“Mhmm…” Kevin nodded again. That’s when his gaze travelled to the outside world, knowing that creatures that were non-human were everywhere, and he still wasn’t 100% safe, even if he was in safe hands.
“Kevin… you know you shouldn’t lie to us like that.”
Kevin looked up to meet eyes with Shi Yin. He looked down as a slight blush reached his cheeks, and then he heard a silent chuckle from Seung Ri up on front, who was driving. Dae Sung and TOP went in a separate car, discussing on what they were going to do about Ji Yong, Young Bae and Katie.
Just as Kevin thought he was totally being embarrassed, the car came to a screeching halt, sending both Shi Yin and himself flying forward.
“WHAT THE!?! SEUNG RI-OPPA, WHAT’S GOING-”
“Get out of the fucking car.”
“What?” Shi Yin and Kevin said at the same time. That’s when they realized that Seung Ri wasn’t Seung Ri… his eyes were ablazing red.
Shi Yin widened her eyes. “SEUNG RI!!!”
“SHI YIN, WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!!!” Kevin screamed, opening the car door.
“NO NO NO NO… I can’t LEAVE him!” Shi Yin struggled to get back, but with the adreneline that was streaming through Kevin, he seemed to be stronger then he thought, pulling Shi Yin back.
Seung Ri had no idea what was going on, but that’s when he knew someone was taking over. And he only knew one person that could do that…
“Your… back… hyung…?!” Seung Ri struggled to talk out loud to his body hacker. A laugh carried out from his mind as images then flashed through.
“Long time no see, Seung Ri-ah. How have you been?”
“Get.. out of… my… body…”
“Oh, am I hacking your body? My bad.”
“Hyung… this isn’t… a game… to be playing… right now…”
“Yes, yes, I know. Fine, fine, I’ll let you go.”
And just like that, Seung Ri was free. He took a breath, and moved around. He had control of his body again. “Hyung?” He said out loud.
“Sup?” He answered.
“Where’s Young Bae-hyung?”
“Oh, right here with me.”
Seung Ri widened his eyes. “WHAT!?”
“Yeah, I paid him a visit… er… more like the other way around.”
“Hyung, let him go. He didn’t do anything-”
“I’m not that violent anymore, Ri, so calm down!”
“Last time I remembered, you nearly killed me and Ji Yong because you thought I took away your girlfriend.”
“Same situation right now.”
“What?” Seung Ri asked, confused now.
“Young Bae has something… that I want. Or… well, he doesn’t have it specifically… but Ji Yong does.”
Seung Ri stiffened. He knew exactly what Jin was talking about now.
“I’m talking about that new human girl… the Vietnamese one…”
“Who?”
“Don’t act fucking stupid with me, Seung Ri. You know me better then to lie to me.”
Seung Ri held his breath. That’s when he heard a scream from outside. He completely forgot about Shi Yin and Kevin. His head whipped around and he then saw dark figures capturing Kevin and Shi Yin away. Seung Ri tried desperately to get out and free them, but the car doors were locked, and he couldn’t unlock them. Jin had control of the car.
“Nice try, Ri.” Jin laughed out loud in Seung Ri’s head. “But you’re not getting away until you tell me where the new girl is.”
“Where’s Young Bae-hyung then?”
“I told you, he’s with me.”
“Jin, you have no idea what you are getting into. Young Bae and Ji Yong are really close to her…”
“Oh, yes I know that. Word travels fast you know.”
“Don’t hurt anyone.”
“And why do I want to do that?”
Another scream and Seung Ri looked over and saw Shi Yin being held at gunpoint, as for Kevin being held by a knife from the throat. Seung Ri froze.
“But of course… I would hurt anyone I liked… and I always get what I want, Seung Ri… so be a good guy and tell me-”
Silence. Seung Ri stayed still for a moment, until silently the locks on the doors of the car unlocked. Seung Ri, completely confused and baffled, opened the car door anyways, and ran towards Shi Yin and Kevin, who were on the ground, gasping for air. Apparently, the dark figures that Jin brought over had disappeared just as Jin has…
“Are you two alright!?”
“We’re… fine…” Shi Yin answered, looking over at Kevin. He nodded, indicating he was fine. That’s when Shi Yin started crying, crawling over to Seung Ri.
Seung Ri swooped down and caught her in his grasp. “Shi Yin, what’s wrong?”
“You… scared… me… Oppa…”
“Shh… shh… I’m back…”
“What happened… to you…?”
“Someone… hacked into my body…”
“WHAT?” Kevin replied this time, wide eyed. Seung Ri nodded back.
“It was Young Bae’s brother, Jin Bae.”
“Say what? Young Bae-Oppa… has a… brother?” Shi Yin answered, wiping her tears away as she stared at Seung Ri, who nodded again.
“Yeah… he left a century and a half ago… but now he’s back… and he’s after Katie…”
“No.” Kevin said immediately. “He can’t have her. He tried to kill us, who knows what he wants with my SISTER!”
“I agree. We can’t let this Jin Bae get to her…” Shi Yin said, her voice dying down into a whisper. Seung Ri closed his eyes and sighed, not knowing what to do. Everything was clouding up and things were getting out of hand. He didn’t know what to do.
“We HAVE to get my sister to a safe place…” Kevin muttered, tears in his eyes. Seung Ri shot open his eyes and caught the hurt and pain in Kevin’s face. Shi Yin nodded along, agreeing with Kevin. But Seung Ri knew Jin Bae more then them, and what he knows isn’t good.
“Nowhere is a safe place with Jin around Moonlight City. Whatever he wants… he’ll get it.”

I want to apologize to everyone sincerely. My computer had completely broke down, I had to get it fixed, but the person that was responsible was busy until a couple days ago, then they finally shipped it to my house, and today I finally got my computer back. I wrote this chapter as fast as I could, and I started this morning. I really hope that my internet could stay with me on this, and hopefully I will update faster then usual.
School is also getting on my nerves. It’s taking such a big role in my life right now, but seriously, when hasn’t it?
AISH. But as you may recall, I have a new fic up. I’m not sure if that was a smart move for me, but right now the first chapter is up and running. But that’s probably all you will see. Hopefully I could write up the TOOBIN oneshot for my oneshot collection, which I already have an idea for. I just need to write everything down.
Not only do I have a busy schedule in real life, but I have a hectic schedule as a winglin writer. Huh, hopefully I could balance both of them out equally…
Not sure when my next update will be… when I say maximum of 2 weeks without updating… you can scratch that out, since I completely broke that rule. Let’s just turn it up to 3 weeks now, as I need to get everything in place.
Just a big A/N for you guys! Hopefully all of you won’t mind the wait! Mianhae~
