I took out my room card key and quickly swiped it. I heard the click and barged in.
“Yesung!” I yelled. Donghae was close behind me.
I scanned the room quickly and saw a quick shadow leap out the window. I ran to the window. It was too dark to see what it was. I focused my attention back on the room. I looked around the room for Yesung.
“Over here!” I heard Donghae shout from the bathroom. I ran to them.
What I saw almost drove me crazy. Yesung was as white as a ghost, laying in Donghae’s arms. If I didn’t see his chest rise and fall back down, I would have thought he was dead. I kneeled down next to them.
“What’s wrong with him?” I asked.
“Yesung got poisoned,” said Donghae, almost growling.
“Wylie,” I snarled. “That bastard just won’t give up.”
Yesung groaned and I moved closer towards him.
“Yesung, can you hear me?” I asked.
“Sung…min…” he groaned.
“Yesung I’m right here. Who did this to you? Was it Wylie or one of the Dragons member?” I asked.
“It wasn’t… Wylie. I think a member…” Yesung’s voice was almost a whisper.
“Who? Do you know?”
Yesung didn’t say anything. I looked at Donghae. Donghae was already healing him, with his hand on Yesung’s forehead. I didn’t say anything. I didn’t want to interrupt him.
“I’ll kill them,” I growled when Donghae finished. I stood up and headed out the door.
“Sungmin stop!” I heard Donghae yell from my room but I didn’t care. My blood was boiling and Wylie has gone too far. First it was Kyuhyun, then me and now Yesung. Just because he wants to get rid of us. He even killed Leesha.
I ran down the stairs, taking two steps at a time. I didn’t know where I was going but something was pulling towards something. I just followed it.
I found myself at the plains. I was breathing heavily. Tonight was a full moon and it provided good light for me.
“Get the fuck out of here now!” I shouted. I looked around, waiting for them. Everything was still.
“Wylie!” I growled. I set the grass around me on fire. I heard chuckling and I turned around.
Wylie and three members were standing there.
“Did you call for us?” he asked, smirking.
“Go to hell bitch,” I said, fist clenched.
“Don’t talk to Master Wylie like that,” two of them said together.
“Jessmaine, Claude, don’t worry about that,” Wylie said. Wylie stared at me.
“Sungmin, I heard you shouting in your room. Is something the matter?” he asked, casually.
“Shut the fuck up. You know what happened in my room. Yesung and everything!”
He smirked. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” One of his members shifted.
“If you touch my friends again, I’ll kill you. I’ll tear you apart.” I said.
“It wasn’t me that touched Yesung.” He looked at one of his members. “I just called the order and Leicester carried out that order.”
“So Leicester was the bastard who poisoned Yesung?” I asked.
“Not just Yesung. You and Kyuhyun too,” said Wylie.
“GO TO FUCKING HELL!” I growled.
I sent fire spinning towards them. Wylie threw an air shield around him. The other three jumped out of the way, dodging my attack. I launched cascades of blue cracking lightning towards Wylie. White lightning streaked out and cancelled out my blue lightning. I looked at where the white lightning came from. Claude smiled. I growled. I used earth element and turned the area around him into quick sand. He sank into it, unable to get out. I waved an arc of fire out towards Wylie but this time a rock wall blocked my attack again. I looked around. This time it was Jessmaine.
“Get out of my way!” I said and did the quick sand technique on her. I looked around, looking for Leicester. Fire blast out and burned the top layer of skin on my back. I turned around. It was Leicester who used fire on me. I decided to blast him back with fire. He was able to “fan” my attacks. I drew an arc and lightning flashed out. The attack was fast and he wasn’t able to defend himself quick enough. As a result, the lightning hit him and paralyzed him. I turned around and find Wylie close to my face. His hand was on my chest and he sent power into me. I screamed and fell down. I was panting.
“Is that it?” Wylie asked.
“Shut. Up.” I huffed. I stood up slowly. It was just me and Wylie now. Wylie smirked and slashed his arm through the air. I threw up a rock wall to protect me but his air attack was sharp and fast. His air attack sliced through the wall and cut me.
“Shit.” I mumbled. I was bleeding now.
I drew an arc of lightning out towards him but it failed. He was able to block it this time unlike last time in the cafeteria. He walked closer towards me and I backed away limping. As I limped backward, I tried healing my leg. I couldn’t concentrate that hard so the healing took some time. A figure dematerialized in front of me. I sighed. It was Kyuhyun.
“Wylie, get away from him,” he commanded. Wylie stopped in his tracks. Kyuhyun glanced back, staring me straight in the eye.
“Boy, am I glad to see you,” I said.
“You should be. Donghae told me everything.” He looked back at Wylie. “Don’t do something this crazy on your own.”
“But—”
“Kyuhyun!” shouted Wylie in joy. “I’m so glad to see you. I didn’t think the poison would be able to kill you.” He smirked.
“I thought the same thing,” Kyuhyun said.
“What brings you out here?” Wylie asked.
“I should ask you,” replied Kyuhyun.
A breeze pasted by. It was quiet for a long time as Kyuhyun and Wylie stared each other down. Then, at light speed, Kyuhyun and Wylie attacked each other. They were moving so fast. I couldn’t see them. They were attacking each other and sparks flew everywhere.
I tried to move but every movement caused pain. Wylie had cut me up pretty badly. I was bleeding all over the place. I knew I couldn’t interfere with Kyuhyun and Wylie’s match so I just sat on the grass, healing my wounds.
All of a sudden, Kyuhyun appeared in front of me again, Wylie a few meters away from us. They were both gasping for air. Kyuhyun had a few scratches on his arms and a cut on his forehead. Wylie, on the other hand, his left arm was all bloody and a bruise was forming under his right eye.
“Wylie, its over. Give it up,” said Kyuhyun.
Wylie snarled. “You think I’ll give up this easily on you weaklings?!”
I stood up. My bloody cuts were all gone.
“Give up,” repeated Kyuhyun. Wylie stared.
“Wylie, give—“ Wylie suddenly disappeared.
“Sungmin! He’s coming!” shouted Kyuhyun. I looked in front of me. There was no one but I heard running so I knew Wylie was still here.
Kyuhyun slammed his hands on the grass and the ground shook. Kyuhyun used his earth element to cause an earthquake around us. I could hardly keep my balance. Wylie appeared just a few feet away from me, crouching on the grass, waiting for the shaking to stop. It finally did.
I reacted fast. I twirled vines around him, coiling around him like a snake. And just for fun, I added some thorns into the vines.
“No!” shouted Wylie. He shifted but the thorns cut through his skin. “Claude, Jessmaine, Leicester!”
I stiffened. I had forgotten that the other three was behind me. I turned around but Kyuhyun caught them before they moved. He used the same technique I did to keep Wylie down. We placed them together.
“It’s over,” said Kyuhyun.
“No, no, NO!” screamed Wylie. “I don’t believe this!”
“Well, believe it. You lost to us,” I told him.
“I won’t believe this,” He said and then smirked.
“Wha…What are you smirking at?” I asked.
Wylie looked at Leicester. Leicester looked confused and then understanding washed over him.
“No Master Wylie. I won’t do it,” he said. “Why can’t we accept the fact that we lost to them?”
Wylie grew furious. “Do it!”
“No. I’m not doing it. Leesha was right. We all should have joined the Byakkos,” Leicester said.
“What?” shouted Wylie.
“We’re all tired of this bull shit, going around killing the weaker kind. What makes us so powerful? What makes them weak? I sick of it,” Leicester said.
Wylie looked at Claude and Jessmaine.
“I’m sorry Master Wylie. But I wanted to quit a long time ago,” said Jessmaine.
“Me too,” said Claude.
“You are all traitors! Just like Kyuhyun! You all deserve to die!!” growled Wylie.
“No. The one who deserves to die is you, Wylie,” I said. He snarled and then laughed.
“I think you’re right, Sungmin. I do deserve to die,” he said.
“What..? What are you trying to do?” I asked.
He smiled at me and said, “Vitualamen meus vita. Take mihi a is universitas!”
Kyuhyun stiffened and then shouted. “NO! Wylie, don’t be ridiculous!”
“I rather do this than admit that I lost—” Wylie started coughing up blood, lots of it.
“What did he do?” I asked Kyuhyun, slowly backing away from Wylie.
“‘Sacrifice my life. Take my life away.’ A suicide spell,” he said.
Wylie laughed.
“Are you stupid?” I shouted. “Why would you commit suicide?”
“Because I don’t want to lose to you weaklings,” he said, coughing.
“What are we suppose to do?” I asked Kyuhyun.
“We can’t do anything. There’s no countercharm or healing spell that can save him now.”
We stood there, watching him slowly die. It seemed painful. He was constantly coughing out blood as if he has food stuck in his throat. After a few minutes, his body fell and was completely still.
“He’s gone,” said Claude.
“It’s all over,” continued Jessmaine.
“I guess we can call this a truce?” asked Leicester.
“I—” I began.
“I don’t think so,” interrupted Kyuhyun. I looked at him. His arms were folded across his chest.
“Huh?” I said.
“I’m stripping you all of your powers,” he said.
“WHAT?!” shouted Leicester.
“You are all former members of the Dragons and since you guys have killed some many innocent wizards, you don’t deserve your powers,” stated Kyuhyun.
“You can’t do that!” shouted Jessmaine, tears forming in her eyes.
“I’m sorry but I have—“
“Kyuhyun, that isn’t fair,” came a voice.
We turned around to see Donghae standing behind us.
“Donghae,” said Kyuhyun. “Don’t try to stop me. They deserve it.”
“If that’s true, then shouldn’t we strip your powers away too?” questioned Donghae.
“What are you talking about?” asked Kyuhyun, looking away.
“If they deserve to get their powers taken away because they killed so many wizards, then shouldn’t your powers get taken away too since you also killed wizards in the past before?”
Kyuhyun was silent.
“I agree with Donghae,” I said. “I don’t think that is fair. I’m sure they won’t do it again.” I stared at the three of them.
“We promise we won’t do it EVER again. Please don’t take our powers away,” begged Jessmaine.
Kyuhyun sighed. “I guess so then. I won’t take them away but this is your last chance. If you ever do something related to the Dragons then your powers are gone!”
“I understand,” they all said in unison.
With a wave of Kyuhyun’s arm, the vines around them disappeared.
“How’s Yesung?” I asked, facing Donghae.
“He’s better now. He’s back in the room sleeping,” he said.
“Shouldn’t you be there to guard him?”
“Guard him from who?” asked Donghae. “The Dragons are defeated, aren’t they? And Wylie’s dead, right?”
I laughed. “Yeah. I guess you’re right. It’s all over now.”
