I woke up to hear Yesung screaming. I scurried off my bed and walked over to Yesung. His eyes were closed indicating that he was still asleep. I gripped onto Yesung’s shoulder and shook him.
“Wake up! You’re dreaming again.” I shouted. He groaned. Sweat trickled down his face. His hand flew up and gripped my arm. Power surged into me. I tried pulling his hand off but he tighten his grip. I tried releasing power into him to force him awake. I tried several times but in the end, my body was drained.
Yesung’s power kept flooding into me. “Yesung is gonna have another painful dream and his powers will come out.” Kyuhyun has said that last night at dinner.
A few minutes later, his grip loosens and his eyes flicker open.
“Morning Yesung.” I said weakly.
“What happened?” he propped up on his elbows. He gripped his head.
“You were screaming and I came to check on you. Then you…” I stopped. “Are you okay?”
“I had that dream again and for some reason I feel something is beginning to burn within me and it’s growing.”
“We should get Kyuhyun here.”
He looked at me. “Why?”
Without answering, I picked up my phone and dialed Kyuhyun’s number. A minute later, Kyuhyun entered out room and sat down on Yesung’s bed.
“Are you okay?” he asked.
Yesung looked from Kyuhyun to me and then back. “A little dizzy.”
“You should lay down.” Kyuhyun gently placed his head on the pillow. Yesung closed his eyes. Kyuhyun spoke in and low tone and place his hand above Yesung’s forehead.
“Patefacio!” He said and then spoke a charm.
Yesung’s body shimmered bright gold. He glowed a gold and then silver. A few minutes later, Yesung’s eyes opened and stared at us weirdly.
“How are you feeling?” asked Kyuhyun.
Yesung smiled. “Thanks.”
“What just happened?” I asked.
“I triggered Yesung’s memories to come back,” said Kyuhyun.
“What do you mean? His memories were blocked?”
Yesung nodded. “That dream I had was real. After my parents had died, I was sent to my grandparents’ house. They used Old Magic to block my memories.”
“Why and what’s Old Magic?” I asked.
“It was when the Dragons started attacking. My grandparents wanted to protect me. Old Magic is exactly what it sounds like. Magic that is old. Not a lot of people can use it.”
“What about your powers?” I asked.
“My grandparents trained me when I moved in with them.” He replied.
“But why did Yesung’s memories come back now?”
“Old magic gets weaker and weaker as time goes by,” said Kyuhyun.
“So what is Yesung? Fire? Wind? Earth? Lightning?” I asked.
“Wind.” replied Yesung. “I’ve already mastered all of the elementals.”
Silence fell.
‘I don’t know. I feel like somehow I can relate to you. I feel like I need to protect you.’ Yesung had said that to me before. Now I can understand that quote. He is a wizard too. But wait. Protect me from what??
Kyuhyun looked at me and nodded as if he could read my mind. “Yesung. You are going to protect Sungmin.”
“I understand,” said Yesung.
“Protect me from what?” I asked.
Yesung looked at me. “The Dragons. They are going to get you.”
“Why me?” I asked.
“You are the last wizard.” Yesung managed to choke the words out. “Kyuhyun, me and Donghae are here to protect you.”
Kyuhyun cleared his throat. “I need to tell you guys something.”
Yesung and me stared at him.
“Donghae and I are from a secret anti-Dragons group, called The Byakkos. It’s Japanese for White Tigers.” He stopped and continued. “We are here to exterminate the Dragons but they have a larger army than us. Donghae and me are the only survivors of the group. We have been looking for wizards to recruit but there are barely any wizards we could find. And if we did find one, they are usually on the Dragons side.
“Yesung. I want you to join The Byakkos.”
“Me?” asked Yesung.
He nodded. “We need to get rid of the Dragons and at the same time, protect the last wizard. Don’t you want to protect your childhood friend?” He looked up at me.
Yesung thought over the question again. Finally he said. “Yes. I’ll join.”

sorry for the EXTREMELY late update. i got too busy with school work and handball. but i didnt forget about my fanfics. ill post up two chapters today since i havent updated in such a long time.
