Well, then again, I don't meet up with Lia until at least another 5 hours or so (it's like a daily thing, we eat dinner at the mall) so I guess I have some free time on my hands to just fool around, do what I want. More or less, it's most likely just fooling around with the guys...or sleeping. You can never get enough sleep.
Anyway, here I was, in my room, in front of my laptop...with writer's block. Hopefully it was only temporary, for if it continued, I'd be way behind on my project. And of course, I did the best thing you can do when you're bored out of your mind. I was listening to music, more specifically, DBSK's song 'Bolero.' (Sorry Big Bang fans) You see, I sort of have favorite (asian) artists in each different language of music I listen to. In Korean, Big Bang, definitely, but also BoA, AJOO, Super Juniors, and some of DBSK. And in Japanese, I love Utada Hikaru, Namie Amuro, M-Flo, DBSK (I like their Japanese songs much more), BoA, and Ayumi Hamasaki. Of course, I have more in each, but those are just my favorites, and the ones that most people are familiar with.
"Kikasete...itoshiku hakanaku...tsumasaki de kanaderu bolero...~" I heard another voice sing in perfect pitch and synchronization with Jae Joong's voice. I opened my eyes (I close my eyes to listen to a song fully) and turned towards the door, where Seung Ri stood, "Hi noona," and he waved.
"Hey," I smiled at him, "Nice voice by the way."
"Thanks," and he scratched the back of his head as he made his way towards me.
"So..." I started again, "what's up?"
He quickly looked out the door, and then closed it and locked it, and then turned towards me, "You have to keep this a secret, but we were sort of planning a little something for Hyung on his birthday in about 4 days," he said in a rather low voice, probably so no one would hear.
"And?" I motioned him to keep going. I knew it was Tae's birthday in 4 days, but he never mentions it to anyone. I don't know why.
"...and we can't think of anything to do..." and he scratched his head in slight embarrassment.
"So you want me to help?"
He smiled, "Well if you insist."
I laughed at him, "Alright, I'm sure I can think of something, but first," and I lied down on my bed, which Ri was sitting at the foot of, "I'm going take a nap."
"Alright noona," and he stood up and headed towards the door.

==== Young Bae's (Tae Yang) POV ====
"HYUNG, WATCH OUT, IT'S A BUNNY!"
"SHUT UP JI!" I shouted at him for the last time, but nonetheless, he kept laughing. Why did Yuri have to tell them my horrific experiences with bunnies?! (T_T) I have this theory. The longer the ears, the more evil the thing is...other than dogs, for chihuahuas are the most evil dogs of all, AND THEY'RE FREAKIN' PUNY! Anyway, I finally stood up and made my way upstairs. I don't know really, but I was bored. Bothering Yuri always cured my boredom, but when I was about to enter, the door swung open and I saw...
"Ri?" I asked a little surprised.
"Hey hyung!" he replied.
"What are you doing here?"
"Nothing really, I just came to check what noona was doing."
I looked behind him to see Yuri in bed, asleep. Man, so much for my cure, "I see."
"Well...see you," and he walked past me, rather nervously, but I just pushed it aside as I walked to to Yuri's bed and laid down beside her, placing my hands under my head, staring up at the celing.
"Yuri-ah," I started talking to her sleeping form, (Yes, I was that bored) but I quickly shut my mouth, knowing that I wouldn't get a response. So now, I shifted my body in her direction, just to see her face. She was beautiful to say the least, and her sleeping was cute as well. She was in the usual position, no blanket wrapped around her, but just her two hands put together under her head, and even a faint smile appearing on her face. I pushed away a couple of strands out of her face, to have a better look.
"You're so beautiful," I stated. I will admit, that even if it was really faint...well, let me just tell you the story. It was a little more than 2 years back, around 1 month before I had to leave the Philippines...And it was also my birthday. All of my friends (and fans) apparently wanted to hold a HUGE surprise party for me.
- Flashback -
"Saengil Chukkhahamnida~" (Happy Birthday) The singing ended. I won't say that it was bad but I tend to dislike parties, at least parties like this, though I had to admit that it was really nice of everyone to even decide to do this.
"Time for presents!" Lia shouted.
--
So anyway, a couple of hours passed, and it was around 8:30 pm. I'll admit (again) that I was, even if it was just slightly, enjoying myself, though I felt as if something was missing. Oh right!
"Hey, has anyone seen Yuri?" I asked anyone that happened to walk in front of me. Just so coincidentally, it was Lia that heard me.
"Why, so you can go confess you're undying love for her?" she smirked.
"Must you always say that?"
"Must you always deny it?"
Ugh, this was going nowhere, "Do you know where she is?"
"Out front," and she pointed towards a window, which I could see a small figure sitting out on the grass. It was obviously Yuri, for I could recognize her slightly curled hair lightly dancing along with the breeze of the night. I walked out front, away from everyone (sheesh, some friends throw a party and then not notice the person they hold it for) and nudged Yuri on the shoulder.
"Hey," I smiled.
"Hey oppa," she smiled, "Happy birthday!"
"Yah, you're the last person to say that to me," and I sat down while pouting (playfully of course), "Some friend you are."
"Okay fine, watch. Next time, I won't even bother to say it," and she smirked. I didn't even need to see it, I could feel it, but I gave in.
"No No! I mean, I love you!" and I hugged her from behind.
"That's better," and she patted my head (hat) again, "Oh right," and she pulled out a small box from her pocket, "Almost forgot your present," and she handed it to me.
"What is it?" I asked as I took it from her.
"Just open it," and so I did.
"Y-Yah, w-what is this?" I wasn't stuttering because I didn't like it, but mainly because it was beautiful. It was a gold heart shaped necklace with that has a simple 'Y' on it, with another one behind it probably serving as a shadow.
"Oh, just a little something to remember me by when you go back to Korea," and she smiled again, "Open it."
So I did, and in side was a small picture of us sitting on a cliff at the time we went to the beach. We weren't even facing the camera, but I had my arm around her shoulders and she was laying her head on my right shoulder. We looked like a couple.
"When was this taken?"
"Lia took it," oh of course, sneaky Lia. She probably hid somewhere and turned off the flash on the camera...
"Anyway, thanks for the gift. I'll cherish it," and I grinned widely at her.
"Oh don't even try. You FAIL as a sweet talker," but then she did the unexpected. She lightly kissed my right cheek, "Happy birthday oppa."
My heart fluttered as she stood up and headed back inside.
- End of Flashback -
Even if it was just for a very slightly moment, I did feel that I liked her as something more, but I haven't felt that way in a really long time, so I usually just forget about it and focus on work, but I did wear that necklace she gave me on every single performance afterwords.
"-gasp- HYUNG, HOW COULD YOU?! Trying to take advantage of a girl in her sleep!"
I turned my view back towards the door as I saw Ji staring at us in (false) shock, "Idiot," I muttered as I pulled myself up to sitting position. He finally dropped the shocked look for a wide grin.
"So hyung, what are our plans for today? She's sleeping, and we have nothing to do."
"I don't know about you, but I'm going to sleep," and I snuggled back into Yuri's large pillow (which I'm envious that she has such a large pillow) and drifted off to sleep.

==== Yuri's POV ====
"Hyung, come oooon~"
"I already said it once..."
I heard voices in one of the bedrooms as I was walking down the halls to go to bed. Of course, who would try to resist the temptation of taking a peak, which is what I did. I looked into the room just very slightly to find both my Oppas (Ji and Tae) sitting on the bed. Tae had his elbows rested on his knees while his face was burried in between his palms. Was he crying? And Ji Yong had his legs crossed like some five-year old as he held a pillow to his chest and rested his chin on it.
"But it's cute hyung. Say it one more time."
"I said no," Tae-oppa sounded angry.
"Why is it so hard to admit that you-"
"Not another word Ji."
Of course Ji Yong is too stubborn to listen, "Repeat after me. I-"
"No."
"Love-"
"No!"
"My best friend-"
And then Tae-oppa stood up and shouted at him, "Okay fine! I love my best friend, Han Yuri! Are you happy?!"
And I froze right on spot. Even when I was fully conscious that Tae-oppa was heading for the door, I couldn't move. Those three precious words repeating over and over again in my head, I just stared straight forward as the door opened.
"Y-Yuri-ah" Tae-oppa went wide-eyed. I stayed silent as he placed his hand gently on my shoulders, "P-Please... Please tell me you didn't hear that..."
I gulped slightly in response. Just seeing his face about to break into tears was enough for me to be scared, but I wasn't ready to hear that, nor did I know when I would ever be.
"Yuri-ah," he shook me a little, "Please answer me."
"O-Oppa," I stared right into his eyes, but then he pulled me into a tight embrace.
"I love you," and he started to cry, but I don't really know why he did, "I've always loved you."
"Oppa..." my voice died into a whisper. (And since I know you hate this deep moment, you can imagine Ji Yong lying on his stomach with his feet dangling in the air, and his chin propped up against his palms, watching us like some kid watching a korean drama)
"But please," and he hugged me even tighter, "even if you know, please...can we still be friends?"
"Oppa," I gently brought my arms up to hug him as well, "I love you..."
"Awww, this is sooo cute~" that was Ji Yong obviously.
He quickly released me from his embace and put his hands on my shoulders again, "D-Do you mean it?" he looked at me with worried eyes, probably to see if I was lying, but really? When have I ever lied to him?
"Of course," and I hugged him again, "I've never lied to you oppa. Why would I start now?"
He was still rather hesitant at the fact that I loved him, but of course, it was only because he was too (I'd say stupid, but...) dense to notice.
"Oppa," I started as I smiled at him, "I really do love you."
And he gave me that radiant smile of his, that any girl would fall for (or has fallen for, in my case), "Then I'm sure you won't mind me doing this."
"Doing what?" but then he pulled me into an embrace and placed his lips softly onto mine. This was so like a dream...
--
I woke up slightly afterwards, but just kept my eyes closed to keep the moment in my head, but then opened to them... Everything was normal again after that, other than one thing... Why were my lips attached to my best friend's?
